Just for you guys know, I did a lot of research on the subject. It is hands down the best compact high end gpu at the moment (4070super twi and x3 and 4070 ti super twin and x3)
I just bought the 4070 ti super x3 OC and this is crazy.
I installed it in the Terra, thing is SUPER SUPER quiet no joke I swear. At first I thought there were some sort of issue with the fans. But no. It's incredibly cool and efficient. We come a long way honestly.
Anyway I will post photos of my build when I have time if it interests people.
I think Inno3D makes relatively compact cards, maybe 4070 Super? But yeah just go browse their website, but I feel like anything less than 4070 wouldn't be much of an upgrade.
There's no shortage of small cards, nVidia 4060/LP/Ti/4070/Super/TiSuper, AMD 6650XT/6700/6700XT/7600/7600XT all have 1\~2 fan and 2-slot models, also a pair of low profile as others mentioned.
Lurk moar !

you litterally have a link to the SFF parts list on this sub, where you can sort GPUs by size, thickness etc:

The V1 is rather short in depth instead of being short tall. Maximum card size is 255mm (Inner chassis). This is exactly, why I give up on that case :-(
Surprisingly, 2080 still looks more powerful (according, for example to this: https://rankquality.com/en/nvidia-geforce-rtx-2080-super-vs-nvidia-rtx-a2000-12-gb/). So yes, in terms of performance it is a downgrade indeed.
I'm given up on this case exactly because of this. So I switched to it's big brother the V21, but that is not an SFF pc anymore. Yet the V1 is questionable as well.
Best you can do is sidegrade to a 4060 or 4060Ti . Lots of dual-slot single-fan options that'll fit that case.
I switched cases from old bitfenix to A4-H2O for gpu compat....
You can have up to 4070 Ti Super (from Inno3D). Use the SFF parts list on the side bar and filter by size.

>Is there another option less expensive and available ?
That's something you'd have to find out yourself. It depends on your needs, your budget and your market/region.

Also, Inno isn't one of the "premium" brands, and usually retail for less than their equivalent Sapphire/Gigabyte/Asus
The 4070 Ti Super has the same MSRP as your 2080.

Gigabyte makes a low profile 4060 that is absolutely tiny.

Single fan rtx 3060ti goes brrrrr
NVidia RTX A2000 may fit (depending on your tasks for the machine), it also consumes less power (70W), which will save some money on PSU upgrade.
is this considered an upgrade or downgrade 😅 ?

I like the EVGA 3060ti XC or the asus 3060ti mini, dual fan, quite powerful for 1440p gaming and less than $300 on ebay.
Idk but there's the small 4070ti Im just glad my k49 sgpc can hold up to 300mm while under 7L
FYI, the 4070 is smaller and more power than the 2080.
