Risky business, and unlike other projects, these actions seem for entertainment or thrills, more than for the benefit of shark scientific research or conservation.
Yes! It’s a documentary called Great White Open Ocean. It’s a great watch. It shows this whole experience the then goes on to do another dive to get over his ptsd. Unfortunately he has a stroke during filming. It’s all documented. He is still slowly recovering. ❤️🩹
Hope Jimi is doing better these days. Was actually looking for an update on his Stroke recovery this morning. This was clearly a horrendous idea but he seems like a great guy and you can tell he has an immense love for these animals. Hope he’s getting better.
I think the PTSD from the incident caused his body to say enough is enough bro, and gave him a stroke.
Interestingly, his cameraman caught it on film, the moments he started having the stroke, his friend and cameraman watching him through his lens thinking there's something not right happening here. Great doco

I think I read/heard somewhere that they used the see through cage on purpose and knew it wouldn't withstand a shark "attacking" said cage.
