How your city/municipality has again dropped the ball when it comes to maintaining roads/sidewalks/parking spaces. Why even pay taxes if you have to walk through 40 cm of snow?
I just wish I was norwegian instead of finnish, you guys can afford anything cause you got access to a resource that is used absolutely everywhere (oil).
Reason we have to raise our taxes is cause we cannot afford the current social security and because our taxes and paychecks are high and we are kinda located away from center of commerce in EU so starting and running business here is not economically the best decision.
Norway doesn't use the oil money at all, it's all being invested in thousands of different companies all over the world (we made some serious money with nvidia a couple months back for example), this is to ensure economic safety for future generations.
Salmon is a huge export for us, even sushi bought in Japan uses Norwegian salmon lol.
Our electricity prices have skyrocketed, gas costs a ton, and inflation is running rampant, it's not all great, but atleast we're not a part of the EU.
