I tried replaying Kingdom hearts days but man the gameplay is so slow and the enemies/bosses have way too much HP. It sucks because the story is actually pretty good from what I remember. Damn shame this game had to be on the DS.
Stellar Blade
I’m about 2/3rds of the way through the game. It’s genuinely fun. I haven’t played Nier or any of the other games I’ve seen compared to, but I would say it’s like if Jedi: Survivor had Sekiro’s parrying system.
The two main critiques are the boob jiggle physics and the story. I can’t get over how so many characters have these absurd boob jiggles. All it does is give me severe secondhand embarrassment.
And the story is ass. There’s no way around it, it’s horrible and so are the characters.
I would say 1/3rd of the outfits I’ve acquired fully clothe Eve from neck to toe. 1/3rd expose either the top or legs, and 1/3rd are basically lingerie. There’s one that covers her entirely in a bear suit as well.
Gamers just don’t talk about those 1/3rd of outfits for obvious reasons.
Enjoying Unicorn Overlord, but I was promised egregious fan service and so far it's just heavily armored dudes, like I'm not even getting some half plate abs or something. False advertising.

Remembering the first time I watched the hbomb Fallout 3 video and came away with the lesson "sometimes it's good to engage with critiques of things you like, because you'll gain a better understanding of what does and doesn't work about it, and maybe even a better understanding of your own tastes"
That lesson quickly led to the following lesson of "not every critique of things you like is going to be meaningful or valid. Sometimes they're just gonna be dumb and pointless" when I watched the Lily Orchard Steven Universe video, as well as a Mario Odyssey review by an author I can't remember where he opened by saying that he prefers linear platforming challenges to open world exploration challenges, but because that's his personal taste he wouldn't hold it against the game, before spending like an hour saying variants of "there's just a moon here. This game sucks. They should've put the entrance to a linear platforming challenge here instead, and put the moon at the end of that"
Honestly if he hadn't said that bit at the beginning of the video, I wouldn't have even been upset. Everyone's entitled to their tastes, if you don't like open world exploration then Mario Odyssey is just gonna be a bad game by your standards.
It just frustrated me because he acted like he was setting his own preference aside and reviewing it "objectively", before just complaining that it didn't fit his preferences anyway.

Deputy Beagle always gets mad at you for programming the robot to be the sheriff of Primm but like bro, you could've assumed the role of sheriff yourself.

Dragging my ass up and down the highway just to find a sheriff for Primm? Ain't no way, I'm in a hurry and you'll get what you get.
I think that's exactly the point. Beagle wants a title and praise, but quite literally doesn't want to do jack shit to earn it. Being deputy means he can have that without being at any risk and can push off everything on the sheriff. And even the fucking robot recognize this and boot him out of the position when they become Sheriff lol.

I played a silly order too but tbh it just works for the games.
I think for me it was 2R, 7, 4, 3R, revelations, Code Veronica, Revelations 2(discontinued), 1R(Discontinued) 3O, 2O, 1R(new run), 6, Revelations 2(finished), 5 - and 8 and 4R when they released.
I think the stories are isolated enough for me to not really miss anything, although when I first met Krauser in RE4 remake today I was like hold on what game is he from only to find out that he has no prior appearances and that the game just presents him like this
More games should introduce a character no one has ever seen and then act like you're supposed to know who this is, I unironically loved how he's introduced here lol

My only experience to Shad prior to learning this year that he is a grifter was that he made a video arguing that boob armor was rooted in history and nerds used him as a catch-all for complaints about boob armor. In that video he uses ceremonial armor as his evidence mind you.

It's just his stuff as far as I know. In fact JJK got a different translator for Chapter 236, someone going by the name Lightning, and everyone loved the translation for that and then John Werry came back after.
For example of why John Werry kind of sucks is that in Chapter 256 >!Gojo says "I can't use black flash because of the Six Eyes," which makes no sense because he literally uses Black Flash in a fight. Even in the next page he talks about using it. So it's just weird seeing him say he can't use it to talking about how he's used it more times than another character. I assume it's him saying that to explain why he can't use it at will, but with how it's translated it makes it sound like he's saying he cannot use it at all, and then contradicts that later. In the fan translation he says "Why do you think I could use Black Flash at will? Is it because I have the Six Eyes?"!<

matchmaking is ass, the game wont start unless all slots are full, and the way it divides the Mobile suits by battlerankings is some how worse then warthunder. so half the time is spent trying to find and get into a match that only last like 8 minutes.
some of the maps are fine, some are just unplayable like the enemy team can just rush the spawn point and camp it the whole match.

I had to look up what the NRW is and I was sad to see that Westphalia wasn't it's own entity anymore, mostly since it's the only internal part of Germany I know about aside from Bavaria lol.

You can blame the Brits for Westphalia not being a state. They formed NRW 1946 in the "Operation Marriage". In short to secure their access to the Ruhr river, the Rhine Ruhr area steel and mining industy and the mining industry of westphalia and other parts from the French and Russians. Also they feared that the rhine ruhr area as its own state like the french wanted it to be would be more prone to communism as a very industrial heavily populated worker area so they hoped mixing some rural provinces into the mix would help outvote the communism. (it worked)

Also the regular crossbow bolts are better for stealth than the sleep darts, so evil path is better than good at stealth too.

I tried replaying Kingdom hearts days but man the gameplay is so slow and the enemies/bosses have way too much HP. It sucks because the story is actually pretty good from what I remember. Damn shame this game had to be on the DS.
Stellar Blade I’m about 2/3rds of the way through the game. It’s genuinely fun. I haven’t played Nier or any of the other games I’ve seen compared to, but I would say it’s like if Jedi: Survivor had Sekiro’s parrying system. The two main critiques are the boob jiggle physics and the story. I can’t get over how so many characters have these absurd boob jiggles. All it does is give me severe secondhand embarrassment. And the story is ass. There’s no way around it, it’s horrible and so are the characters.
I'm approaching this the same way I did with Nier: Automata (wait for the PC release, then wait for mods that give the characters actual clothes).
I would say 1/3rd of the outfits I’ve acquired fully clothe Eve from neck to toe. 1/3rd expose either the top or legs, and 1/3rd are basically lingerie. There’s one that covers her entirely in a bear suit as well. Gamers just don’t talk about those 1/3rd of outfits for obvious reasons.
Enjoying Unicorn Overlord, but I was promised egregious fan service and so far it's just heavily armored dudes, like I'm not even getting some half plate abs or something. False advertising.

Remembering the first time I watched the hbomb Fallout 3 video and came away with the lesson "sometimes it's good to engage with critiques of things you like, because you'll gain a better understanding of what does and doesn't work about it, and maybe even a better understanding of your own tastes" That lesson quickly led to the following lesson of "not every critique of things you like is going to be meaningful or valid. Sometimes they're just gonna be dumb and pointless" when I watched the Lily Orchard Steven Universe video, as well as a Mario Odyssey review by an author I can't remember where he opened by saying that he prefers linear platforming challenges to open world exploration challenges, but because that's his personal taste he wouldn't hold it against the game, before spending like an hour saying variants of "there's just a moon here. This game sucks. They should've put the entrance to a linear platforming challenge here instead, and put the moon at the end of that"

Everyone's entitled to their tastes, if you don't like open world exploration then Mario Odyssey is just gonna be a bad game by your standards. Deputy Beagle always gets mad at you for programming the robot to be the sheriff of Primm but like bro, you could've assumed the role of sheriff yourself. "oh blah blah chain of command" but I'm pretty sure any chain of command allows for promotion if the guy on top dies. I think that's exactly the point. Beagle wants a title and praise, but quite literally doesn't want to do jack shit to earn it. Being deputy means he can have that without being at any risk and can push off everything on the sheriff. And even the fucking robot recognize this and boot him out of the position when they become Sheriff lol.

I think the stories are isolated enough for me to not really miss anything, although when I first met Krauser in RE4 remake today I was like hold on what game is he from only to find out that he has no prior appearances and that the game just presents him like this

I'm not disputing that, all I'm asking is since they named a specific guy whether it's just his stuff (or even just JJK) that's bad or if Viz's QC as a whole is subpar
It's just his stuff as far as I know. In fact JJK got a different translator for Chapter 236, someone going by the name Lightning, and everyone loved the translation for that and then John Werry came back after. For example of why John Werry kind of sucks is that in Chapter 256 >!Gojo says "I can't use black flash because of the Six Eyes," which makes no sense because he literally uses Black Flash in a fight. Even in the next page he talks about using it. So it's just weird seeing him say he can't use it to talking about how he's used it more times than another character. I assume it's him saying that to explain why he can't use it at will, but with how it's translated it makes it sound like he's saying he cannot use it at all, and then contradicts that later. In the fan translation he says "Why do you think I could use Black Flash at will? Is it because I have the Six Eyes?"!< >!Then in the most recent chapter there's stuff like saying that creating an actual barrier allows for an escape route when that's the opposite of what it actually does because the barrier is meant to keep people inside a domain because it's harder to break on the inside than it is on the outside.!< There's definitely other stuff that I don't exactly remember, but people have not liked this translator for a while.

gundam battle operation 2 the good: its free its very generous with giving you Mobile Suits... almost too generous lots and lots of Robots HARO the bad: gameplay has its good points but its like an RTS but action game, like each attack and even switching weapons has a cool down, so, it can be really annoying to do anything, its and Bandinamco game, so the graphics are... not the best... but not the worst either, the ugo: matchmaking is ass, the game wont start unless all slots are full, and the way it divides the Mobile suits by battlerankings is some how worse then warthunder. so half the time is spent trying to find and get into a match that only last like 8 minutes. some of the maps are fine, some are just unplayable like the enemy team can just rush the spawn point and camp it the whole match.

I had to look up what the NRW is and I was sad to see that Westphalia wasn't it's own entity anymore, mostly since it's the only internal part of Germany I know about aside from Bavaria lol.
technically it is its own entity just on a region level not on a state Level. You can blame the Brits for Westphalia not being a state. They formed NRW 1946 in the "Operation Marriage". In short to secure their access to the Ruhr river, the Rhine Ruhr area steel and mining industy and the mining industry of westphalia and other parts from the French and Russians. Also they feared that the rhine ruhr area as its own state like the french wanted it to be would be more prone to communism as a very industrial heavily populated worker area so they hoped mixing some rural provinces into the mix would help outvote the communism. (it worked) very short summary glossing over a lot of finer details why they decided things. Ironically while the original thought was to keep the communists down these days the rhine ruhr area votes a lot more right wing than other parts of germany (excluding sachsen) so being lumped together with the mostly conservative voting provinces isn't ideal but it does keep the afd down.
I figured it would be because of post war reorganization. Though Britain worrying about the French at all post war is very funny to me. You'd think they'd understand by that point that they were gonna be stuck with the french as allies while the USSR was still around.

So a few days ago, I get a hospital bill from a visit last month, saying I suddenly owe them $600 even though I was told I only had to pay $120 (which I did pay) when I was there. Been slowly playing through the new FF16 DLC. Neat to see this game's version of Mysidia, not too long after playing FF4 and seeing that Mysidia. Wasn't expecting >!the whole "Leviathan is actually a baby frozen in time" thing!<. Could make a joke about how >!that explains why Leviathan looked so little in screenshots.!< The sidequests aren't much different from the base game, but I don't really mind them since there isn't an overload of them (yet).

The thing with HellDivers 2 is that while, sure the Airburst launcher is buggy and seems to not have an activation distance (something almost any rocket propelled munition thing usually has), it’s very easily lore explained. Super Earth is being ran by Musk and his “let the end users beta test it”
