Anorexia is a devastating disease. It's hard to talk about because for most people, eating is automatic. But if there are people in your life you trust enough to tell, you should. It might be scary to tell them, but it could save your life. If you keep going down this path, it could kill you or cause permanent disability. The people in your life who care about you most would be heartbroken. You deserve a better life than this. You deserve healthy food. You deserve love and happiness no matter how much you weigh.
Keep in mind that your metabolism acts like a rubber band. If you don't eat for a long time, your body will go into overdrive when you do eat something and store as much energy as it can as fat. Losing weight is all about calories in vs calories out, but there's definitely such thing as not enough nutrition.
It's a lot better to eat regularly, even if it is light meals, and balance out the calories with exercise. Then you eventually get fit and skinny, instead of malnourished.

the only way to find happiness in our case is being responsible enough to look for help. not people who we go too in a panicked state as a last resource! constant, professional, reliable, help. cognitive behavioral therapy is affordable and you can even find homework online. it helps build communication skills and responsibility, helps with making friends and creating a social sphere. eventually it becomes self esteem.

Thing is 300 cal a day is not "a deficit". It's heavy deprivation.
A deficit is when you eat less than you use, but simply being alive is usually at least 1200 cal a day. If you are active (and you should be) it will quickly increase.
They didn't say it will hold onto everything, but the body will start to ''ration'' it's reserves. It just less efficient to fast when wanting to lose weight instead of eating less. If you keep providing food, the body will be less conservative of it's fat reserves.

2. Smoke some weed or take anything else that can stimulate your appetite past the point of being able to ignore it (if you dont have anything like that, id get some sugary gum of your favorite flavor)
3. Make sure theres someone irl and/or that you're likely to listen too so that they can convince you to eat at least a spoonful of honey/sugar, if not actual food
At this stage id even get you some junk food because of how severe this is. Get some ice cream if youre in the northern hemisphere' (summer)
4. Eat food and just burn calories like a normal person. This is extremely unhealthy behavior that will 100% cause problems in the future. Dieting also helps but not eating and instead eating other sugary things to trick your body is disastrous for your physical and mental health.
I can say one things. If you actually plan to be like me. Running 30km weekly on 500 calories a day. You would lose like a lot of weight i lose 18kg from 70 -> 52 or something but in exchange for the hair in your head. Cuz it is very likely that your body will start to cut down things that it consider unnecessary such as hair, muscle, your smooth skin. And i did this diet for over a year until i stopped. Yep so you can consider to become like me but just don't.

Try sticking to just fruit and vegetables if you're struggling to eat. I find grapes and cucumber slices always go down best when I struggle with my appetite (I take Adderall, which can reduce my appetite sometimes, but I still need to eat because food powers my brain and body).

Look up calorie calculator and put your measurements in, it will give you a pretty damn accurate calorie goal, so you can keep safe and keep slim👍

In the short term your gonna maybe lose 5-8% of your weight, however your metabolism will slow down and losing weight will pretty much be impossible. Please eat at least 900-1200 calories a day if you actually want to lose weight and keep it off.(even that is unhealthy but it won’t harm you, you will just be very hungry and low energy.). Starving your self can lead to awful repercussions. I am not a professional and this is just Information I’ve read from countless articles, please do your own research.

I've gone through an eating disorder (still kinda am going through it) so I get how your mind is convincing you this is working but it will only make you worse. Trust me eating atleast a 1000 calories per day is best. You'll lose alot more weight If you aren't tired all day from not eating. But ik most of this is mental so if you wanna talk tell me.
Try sticking to just fruit and vegetables if you're struggling to eat. I find grapes and cucumber slices always go down best when I struggle with my appetite (I take Adderall, which can reduce my appetite sometimes, but I still need to eat because food powers my brain and body).
