Consider the large company with huge resources that you mentioned. Do they only hire researchers with PhDs? Absolutely not. They have armies of other workers. Accountants. HR. Cleaners. They all contribute.
By using it and showing people how to use it. The industry is flush with cash and workers. The biggest bottleneck seems to be that most people have no idea how good current models are and what they can do with them.
