Idk I could see him being kind of apathetic about the main quest
Esbern: "Alduin is going to eat the world if you don't stop him!"
Teldryn: "Eh, all good things end some time... Bartender! Another round..."
Delphine: "I'm not a fucking bartender anymore."
Teldryn: "Well, I'll be going..."
I can totally see Neloth being like "I got my own collection of secret knowledge and most importantly there's no good tea in Apocrypha!" and declining the offer :D
"These Seekers do not make very good Canis Root Tea! What good is their knowledge if they can't even do that. Talvas, don't think for a minute that that Lurker is getting you out of your duties." Old Herma-Mora may just blink its many eyes at this and wonder if this was a Bad Idea.
*uses Bend Will on a dragon*
"Can you find Tel Fyr from here? Divayth's prank with the box has finally become my problem, and I don't find it amusing."
He would absolutely look a Daedric lord in the tentacles and announce “make me some tea,” and then find a way to fire him when he inevitably didn’t think the tea was up to his standards.
I’d also love to be a master wizard of house Telvanni. Not to mention that he’d probably wipe the floor with Alduin and Harkon, so the world would be safe from them too.
"Hmmmm... 'Lord' what was it... Harkon? That's a very nice transformation trick, but it shouldn't take a Daedric pact to manage levitation and destruction spells at once. Here, let me show you something..."
Imagine a mod where the dragon born is npc and just roams around doing quests and you can just lvl up your character while all of the main changes in the game happen as the dragon born finishes the main missions. And you can find him and try to kill him but he’s like a mega boss so it’s very hard. And of course he grows stronger as time goes on. You could join the opposing faction and have a battle against the dragon born if you time it right etc.
Lift up your head
Wash off your blood
Here, take my hanky, wipe that mud away
Show me your face, clean as my armor
I know things were bad, but now they're okay
Suddenly, Miraak is standing beside you
You don't need no shouting, don't have to pretend
Suddenly, Miraak is here to provide you
Sweet understanding, Miraak's your friend
Nobody ever treated me kindly
Ulfric left early, Narfi was poor
I'd meet Hadvar and I followed him blindly
He'd snap his fingers, me, I'd said sure
Suddenly, Miraak is standing beside me
He's giving me orders, he's making me build
Suddenly, Miraak is here to provide me
Sweet employment, Miraak is thrilled.
Imagine you're playing some medieval farm sim type game, just raising cows and cabbages and stuff. Then this heavily armed and armored NPC approaches you. You see a quicksave notification, and he just obliterates you. Then you see a quick load notification, and he just buys some food from you and runs off.
Oh god. Imagine being an NPC and not just remembering that autosave/load but all the reloads the character has ever done. Basically time just occasionally flips back by a few hours for no apparent reason from your perspective.
I feel like mjoll would get too caught up trying to fix riften and end up like that one guard captain in oblivion that's obsessed with capturing the grey fox. Or she'd end up just trying to crack down on petty shit in any hold she visits and end up being oblivious to the bigger stuff.
Don't get me wrong, she's heroic but I feel like as a dragonborn she'd spend too much time and effort on the small stuff
> she's heroic but I feel like as a dragonborn she'd spend too much time and effort on the small stuff
So like many players?
"I have hundreds of hours in the game and never beat the main quest." Seen that said many times.
I mean, I have 800 hours in the game and I've beaten the main story exactly once. But that's typically how I play Bethesda games. Beat it once, then just live in it.
the story is too long and rich for me to just leave it close to the end. And the dragonrend shout is really useful. So i always beat it towards the end of my playthrough. after the thieves guild and the dlcs
I was the exact opposite when the game first came out. I beat the main quest in a few weeks and then traded the game back to gamestop lol
Only when i saw all the DLC and modded content on youtube did i decide go back to the game and dive deeper
Actually I soul trapped him and made a sword names aerins wrath which does
5 points of fire damage. And I have it to mjoll when she was my companion well I guess Aerin will always be by her
Yeah, but also... what're the chances of rizzing up Maven Black-Briar? At least for one night, then I can move on to settling down with From-Deepest-Fathoms... or maybe her daughter
Shout effect: Temporarily reveals your position to all enemies and NPC's in Tamriel and makes them aggressive towards you. Last 10 days, sleeping does not speed up the remaining time.
Can be used unlimited amount per day, effect stacks up infinitely.
I also pick Nazeem. 1 he would infuriate the dragons no end my shouting "do you get to the cloud district often while riding a dragon in the actual clouds. 2 I could be safe at home fucking Nazeem's wife.
Alduin and Harkon would get to the point where what they are doing starts inconveniencing him though, and he’d probably switch his research from “what are they up to” to “what do their innards look like”
J'zargo.
With his enthusiasm for learning, he would unironically be the first Khajit Greybeard after beating Alduin.
•He'll be motivated to fight the dragons, to learn the words more than anything.
•He'll deny Delphine and side with the Greybeards, since he'd see the Greybeards and Partysnacks as the better path to learn the Way of the Voice.
•He will do the College questline and be the Archmage since it already feels like a natural option if the vanilla Skyrim had him as a Fallout-type companion.
•He (hopefully) has sense not to join the Vampires and see that Valerica alone can teach him all there is to know about the Necromancy/Vampirsm lore.
Arngeir. Let's see if he will fulfill his destiny as Last Dragonborn or not. I can effectively jump off High Hrothgar if being old is such a hassle.
My bet is on allowing Alduin to live and let him reign.
Paarthurnax would put him in his place though, his conversation regarding the Dragonborn’s role in stopping Alduin is basically “Alduin is supposed to destroy the world but he’s also kind of a prick and I don’t like him so go ahead”
I'm not sure about the Ulfric idea, but don't get me started. I could listen to Vladimir Kulich on loop.
I'd swap with Ralof. It's a very minor change to the world, but does start the butterfly effect. Would Ralof still help a random stranger? I'd think so. I could then be the side-kick to the Dragonborn... and I'll even add in a side quest -- if Ralof gets me out of Helgen in one piece, I can be marriage material. 🤣
Not making Hadvar and Ralof marriage options was unfortunate. They could even make it so they are only available to marry after you finish the civil war quest line.
Totally. They could have even had unique marriage lines. Hadvar is pretty solid, so I imagine he'd have been a little melancholy about friends lost or damage seen in Riverwood. Ralof, given his lines during the war and his voice actor, would have been more teasing; noting that sure he could make you a meal, just like he did more of the work liberating X fort. Dig, dig.
If they were also followers, they could have had special fort related dialogue after the war.
The first time I found Ralof after the war and found he didn't disappear from the game (which is what thought happened), I was actually giddy. Can't marry him? Fine. I'm going to idle here, listening to music, and just pretend he's now a drinking buddy with war chatter.
Legate Rikke/Galmar Stone-Fist sounds good to me both are war hardened veterans of the Great War, both have more than average experience in both first hand combat and military strategy.
Galmar Stone-Fist is way too hot-headed and stubborn, giving him that degree of power and influence would be dangerous. Legate Rikke would be a great choice though.
Mirrak because he's a dragonborn stuck in a realm of knowledge. I'd put it to use so when the current dragon born comes to fight me which would be mirrak, I'd win.
I'd trade with the Ebony Warrior. He gets a new purpose in defeating the greatest threat(s) to all Tamriel while I pretty much retain the same strengths without the burden of being Dragonborn.
Also I'll be super tall.
As soon as you crack down on racism towards non-nords, you’re going to lose a bunch of support and cause a fracture in the rebellion. It runs deep in the storm-cloak ranks, just because you are against it isn’t going to change all of their minds.
Yeah, but you’re able to pull from a more diverse army who would be turned off by the racism. I’m an argonian and support a Skyrim free from imperial colonialism, the only area I’d hesitate is with making Skyrim ultranationalist
This would be like a nationalist rebellion relying on the foreign legion to make up its army. In reality, the pool of non-nords that are going to fight and die for a free Skyrim is *very* small. Nord-supremacism and at least nationalism is at the core of the rebellion, so taking charge and then undoing a lot of that basically dismantles your movement, or more likely gets you removed from power as quickly as the swing of an axe.
Yeah, that’s the rub that I hate about Skyrim lore. I’m stuck between colonizers and ultranationalists.
Best I could do is get the empire out, *then* worry about a second civil war purging Ulfric’s ultranationalists. If I die, I die a martyr for a just cause. Skyrim is free, but it is for everyone.
If you allow non-nords in Windhelm, Ulfric might just make a third faction against you and the empire. And as the dragonborn he could probably garner a lot of support
Yeah, I don't see how the OP's scenario doesn't end with Ulfric seizing high kinghood whether or not he's a Jarl and possibly going on to claim the Imperial throne.
There is no way that megalomaniac doesn't try to leverage dragonborn status to replace the Mede dynasty.
Don't get me wrong, I always assassinate the Emperor, I just don't think the Butcher Bear of Markarth would be a good replacement.
I left the gray quarter out because I didn’t want someone going “but they’re treated bad so it doesn’t matter”. I used the altmer as an example because they are treated as equals to the nords living there. Outside of Windhelm Hlaalu owns a farm too iirc, The Stormcloaks aren’t as racist as people make them out to be, no worse than the Imperials or the Dunmer
there was a popular mod for Morrowind back in the day that made Jiub, the guy on the prison ship with you at the start, the Nerevarine and you'd occassionally see him around "doing" parts of the main quest while you do side quests and stuff.
Well, that's... not what I meant.
He fooled you ideologically, with his revolutionary facade.
Ulfric just wants power and Nord supremacy, I sided with the Empire.
The Empire fooled you ideologically, with their "Imperial man's burden" rhetoric.
The imperials want power and subjugation of other races under their boot. Destroying them felt good.
I'm not even an imperialist. I just prefer a cosmopolitan empire with mixed races instead of the racial segregation like in Windhelm (imagine the whole empire being like that)
I mean if you are supporting a imperialistic colonizing authority that is literally called the "Empire", that would make you an imperialist. Besides, segregation in Windhelm existed even before Ulfric was born, when the Empire was still in charge.
>(imagine the whole empire being like that)
Now that you mention it, Imperial counts did torture and execute Khajiit and Argonians in Oblivion. Not segregation but definitely persecution based on race. Then there was the whole slavery conundrum in Morrowind, where they took part in it.
Windhelm didn’t have segregation. The Grey Quarter is home to refugees after a natural disaster in morrowind. Most of the merchants in Windhelm are high elves. Irl places like Chinatown or little Italy are not a pointer to the explicit existence of racism.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnic_enclave
For the argonians at the docks, the policy isn’t reversed when the imperials take over. Which makes sense because the argonians had invaded morrowind and were enslaved by dunmer prior to that, so there would be high tensions.
Everyone excludes the Khajit, and they are by their own admission the criminals and profiteers they are claimed to be.
The Grey Quarter literally means "Quarter of the city where the 'grey skins' (dark elves) can live." The residents will tell you it's a slum with no guard protection and the brother of Ulfric's second in command harasses the area every night.
Argonians live on the rocks and often work for lower wages because they're argonian - they notably aren't allowed inside the walls unless the Dragonborn brings one in or is one. There are a couple altmer shopkeepers, but for the most part, Windhelm is the most segregated city in the game
Things don't change after the imperials take over because it would be too much work for the developers, instead we get dialogue with the new Jarl, saying it will take time, but change will come.
And just because they're refugees doesn't make it okay, they live in a slum.
I mean, let's give Braith a chance and see what happens from a distance. Since she is not scared of fighting dragons, she should not have a problem being the Dragonborn
one of the kajit outside whiterun. I feel like they would fairly defend the people in skyrim who need it and all I really do is travel and trade anyway
I'm the dragonborn and I'm involved in all sorts of crime in Skyrim if I'm the one supposedly to save Skyrim well they're screwed so basically anyone who'd swap places will do in my case
Ulfric's respect for the title of Dragonborn only guarantees he'd fight Alduin. He'd now be canonically more powerful, would probably turn on you the second you tried to crack down on racism in his faction, and it'd probably end the same way it did with high king Toryyg: you letting him in thinking he wants to talk, only to have him kill you and one of your own guards allows him to escape because they agreed with him
Here's an unpopular opinion.
I get to spend time in Cidhna Mine...and Madanach is the Dragonborn, getting a place for the Reachmen natives by force.
Good luck, Delphine, Ulfric, everyone who ever stepped on the Reach's neck to get somewhere, and Skyrim at large.
I’d be Teldryn Seros: Because Solstheim doesn’t have many filthy outlanders, he’s one of just two Spellswords in the game, and he’s remarkably cool as hell.
Courier. He can find everyone, anywhere. He could just deliver a death scroll (tm) or something to all the baddies.
Side thought: I've always liked the idea that he's actually the dragonborn and "friend" but just guiding you to do his work because you are good enough.
I disagree. When you visit the greybeards, they essentially tell you that in using his thuum for personal political gain, ulfric has gone against the way of the voice.
I'd probably swap for one of the greybeards personally. They're powerful, they have a good safe haven, and they've got some decent books and a good selection of food lol. Not to mention a dragon as a mentor/companion.
It’s a grand strategy game series set just before WW2- early Cold War where you play as any nation that existed in that era. Since you can play as any nation you can play as Germany and there is a meme in the community where people will say that Hitler could have won the war if he just did [some meta game strategy].
To put it in Skyrim terms it’s like saying that anyone could be the best warrior in the world if they just used the fortify restoration loop or became a stealth archer.
My original joke is you are saying you would fix Ulfric by switching him up. (Also the stormcloaks are not racist😁)
Ulfric Stormcloak.
By starting civil war, he's weakened the overall power of those against the Thalmor. I'd like to try to come to an agreement with the empire.
Ulfric would just use his ability as Dragonborn to kill you and take control of his rebellion. He doesn't want to save the world, he wants to rule Skyrim.
https://preview.redd.it/0ti5ljg2xqlc1.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=4589abcc9befdb35998754e2a582e7a0ae06ad89
You think? How are you going to provide humanitarian relief and support for a refugee population while also fighting an insurgency against a colonial empire, while at the same time alienating your support base and undercutting your entire message of, "stop bleeding Skyrim dry for outsiders" by using your very limited resources to act as police for the Dunmer?
Keep in mind, in all likelihood native residents of Windhelm were originally displaced to make room for the Dunmer long ago, who now own a quarter of the city while paying no taxes. Meanwhile, native Nords living in Windhelm are homeless, with even children being forced to sleep outside in the cold.
Ulfric is a good one. For the same reasons I would. If he wasn't jarl and the rebellion leader he probably wouldn't act the way he does and studying with the greybeards but not liking their pacifism it's pretty much just like us in that sense so he'd make a great alduin and dragon fighting machine.
On the flip side. Legate Rikke would be pretty cool too. Not because I want her position, albeit a high position in the legion, able to help teach dumb dumb to respect nord culture more to get less fuel on the rebellion fire and probably help a treaty come down. But also because I think she'd make a great dragon born. Very rooted in her nord upbringing and culture I think she'd faithfully carry out the duties well.
Also it would be interesting if she still enlisted in the legion. She'd make it back to legate in literally 0 time at all.
“I’d definitely crack down on racism against non nords” yeah good fuckin luck when John Racism Racismson is the dragonborn
I’m making maven the dragonborn because she’s hot and deserves it
You’re forgetting that by making Ulfric the new dragon born, he’s gonna absolutely destroy all non nords living in Skyrim with his new found powers. You’ve essentially just made super powered nord Hitler.
Teldryn Sero. He's competent, pretty wise, and likes Skyrim. Alduin wouldn't stand a chance.
Yeah, but then I'm living in a bar in raven rock for the rest of my days. That's a big sacrifice.
Who's to say he doesn't need the support of a fellow adventurer such as yourself? Swapping lives entails you're a merc.
My mercenaries wind up dead.
Ha nerd
I use them as fodder, its what I paid them for.
Eh, could be worse honestly.
Once you clear out the cult in the woods that recruits people in their sleep it’s a nice bar at least.
A nice inn with decent and infinite food and booze with plenty of travelers to swap stories and fluids with? Ow the horror.
You’re a merc you can go where ever you want. He just chose to be there at the time you met him
Idk I could see him being kind of apathetic about the main quest Esbern: "Alduin is going to eat the world if you don't stop him!" Teldryn: "Eh, all good things end some time... Bartender! Another round..." Delphine: "I'm not a fucking bartender anymore." Teldryn: "Well, I'll be going..."
There’s lore suggesting he’s the Nevarine. So that would fit in with his MO.
Where does it say that? Because I can't find anything on it except other people's personal suspicions and head canon.
Is there?
I'm gonna go with Master Neloth because fuckit, I want to see what happens when he takes out Miraak and gets the offer from Hermaeus Mora.
I can totally see Neloth being like "I got my own collection of secret knowledge and most importantly there's no good tea in Apocrypha!" and declining the offer :D
Sounds like he and Uncle Iro would get along famously.
"These Seekers do not make very good Canis Root Tea! What good is their knowledge if they can't even do that. Talvas, don't think for a minute that that Lurker is getting you out of your duties." Old Herma-Mora may just blink its many eyes at this and wonder if this was a Bad Idea.
*uses Bend Will on a dragon* "Can you find Tel Fyr from here? Divayth's prank with the box has finally become my problem, and I don't find it amusing."
I read that in his voice 😄
He would absolutely look a Daedric lord in the tentacles and announce “make me some tea,” and then find a way to fire him when he inevitably didn’t think the tea was up to his standards.
🤣 And Hermaeus Mora seems maybe chill enough to actually do it. Instantly, of course, be so by summon or elsewise... 🤟🤣🤣🤣❤️
Not too bad an idea honestly .
Lokir of Rorikstead. Bro deserves a chance to be in the game.
So who gets to shoot this guy?
Random Archer number 3 of the imperial Legion.
I would like to switch with random archer 3.
Would you like a firearm? 😅
Yes. And instead of being Dragonborn my entire quest line is hunting down Lokir of Rorikstead
Sounds more like continuously reincarnating as an unlucky Dark Brotherhood assassin to me.
8/10 would read
As in he gets shot with a bow. I don't want to physically fire a firearm at this redditor
Good save
The main quest is to get to Hammerfell, but obstacles keep popping up randomly to keep him in Skyrim, like in Groundhog Day.
I'd pick mjoll the lioness she's an adventurer so she'd have no issues with the dungeon crawling
Mjoll is basically how I RP a Nord dragonborn anyway
She's also invincible, so that helps when you're Dragonborn
I feel like mjoll would get too caught up trying to fix riften and end up like that one guard captain in oblivion that's obsessed with capturing the grey fox. Or she'd end up just trying to crack down on petty shit in any hold she visits and end up being oblivious to the bigger stuff. Kinda like me, except I accidentally managed to scam a free copy of Fallout New Vegas
So she'd be doing what the dragonborn does anyway? Spend ungodly amount of time doing sidequests, then go fight Alduin when those are done
Yeah but do you want Aerin following you around. Not sure about you but I killed that little sh*t everytime
Somebody has to face Boethiah's blade
Kinda wish it was nazeem but that's fine I soul trapped him and made an iron sword. Sword of the cloud district no special enchantments really
Yea sven
Actually I soul trapped him and made a sword names aerins wrath which does 5 points of fire damage. And I have it to mjoll when she was my companion well I guess Aerin will always be by her
But then you're stuck in R*ften
Yeah, but also... what're the chances of rizzing up Maven Black-Briar? At least for one night, then I can move on to settling down with From-Deepest-Fathoms... or maybe her daughter
I switch with Nazeem, then he can't go to the cloud district anymore.
New shout discovered: DO YOU OFTEN GO TO THE CLOUD DISTRICT? OH WHAT AM I SAYING, OF COURSE NOT
Shout effect: Temporarily reveals your position to all enemies and NPC's in Tamriel and makes them aggressive towards you. Last 10 days, sleeping does not speed up the remaining time. Can be used unlimited amount per day, effect stacks up infinitely.
I can hear this bass boosted in my head
and you could piss him off relentlessly 🤣
And then you get fus roh dah-ed by dragonborn Nazeem cuz even HE can't stand Nazeem
He would confront alduin and be so obnoxious that alduin just decide to kill himself.
I also pick Nazeem. 1 he would infuriate the dragons no end my shouting "do you get to the cloud district often while riding a dragon in the actual clouds. 2 I could be safe at home fucking Nazeem's wife.
But the Jarl lives in the Cloud District. If Nazeem is the Dragonborn, he would have to go there.
YES! He thinks he's the high and mighty anyway! Let the old boy prove it!
Neloth. The dragons are fucked, and so is everyone else.
Nah, Neloth would stand by and watch the world burn out of scientific curiosity.
OTOH, Alduin consuming the souls of every living thing (which includes Neloth) would be a serious impediment to Neloth's research.
Alduin and Harkon would get to the point where what they are doing starts inconveniencing him though, and he’d probably switch his research from “what are they up to” to “what do their innards look like”
While griping the entire time about having to do it. XD
This is true
This is the superior answer.

From what I can tell, he just wants more power, so he would definitely choose to be a vampire lord.
Valeria should be able to turn him if Serana can; so there's two ways for it without Harkon's help directly.
I feel like this is the equivalent of giving Bugs Bunny nuclear launch codes. It could go really well, or really, really bad.
Arngeir. Let's see if he will fulfill his destiny as Last Dragonborn or not. I can effectively jump off High Hrothgar if being old is such a hassle. My bet is on allowing Alduin to live and let him reign.
That seems super interesting
Aldine isn't going to reign though? He's literally supposed to eat the world.
That's what he's **supposed** to do, yes. But he didn't do it back in the merethic era, and nothing changed in the fourth era.
Paarthurnax would put him in his place though, his conversation regarding the Dragonborn’s role in stopping Alduin is basically “Alduin is supposed to destroy the world but he’s also kind of a prick and I don’t like him so go ahead”
Ebony Warrior
Swap with Mjoll and things may just carry on as it was - win/win.
M'aiq the liar. See how that plays out.
No one would even believe him lol
"i'm dragonborn" "no ur not"
Irileth. She's been all across Tamriel, and has seen many things just as outlandish as this.
I'm not sure about the Ulfric idea, but don't get me started. I could listen to Vladimir Kulich on loop. I'd swap with Ralof. It's a very minor change to the world, but does start the butterfly effect. Would Ralof still help a random stranger? I'd think so. The guard with the bad knee.
"I used to be a dragonborn like you, then I took an arrow in the knee"
The guard that says, "Got to thinking... maybe I'm the Dragonborn, and I just don't know it yet?"
OP 100% gonna get betrayed by Ulfric lmao
OP is going to get shouted to pieces the second their back is to ulfric
Mirrak because he's a dragonborn stuck in a realm of knowledge. I'd put it to use so when the current dragon born comes to fight me which would be mirrak, I'd win.
I wouldn’t trust him to bother with Alduin though
I'd be Erik the slayer and tell my parents off myself, then join the Dragonborn on my own accord.
Hmm. I'd switch with Lydia for the lulz
Lydia is crazy. She'd 100 percent be a successful DB
She'll cut you in half before you even finish "I'm sworn to carry your burdens..."
Delphine purely to see what would happen.
Rip Partysnax
There’s already non-nords in Windhelm? The stables, alchemy shop and an armor stand are ran by Altmers
You forgot the gray quarter 💀
I left the gray quarter out because I didn’t want someone going “but they’re treated bad so it doesn’t matter”. I used the altmer as an example because they are treated as equals to the nords living there. Outside of Windhelm Hlaalu owns a farm too iirc, The Stormcloaks aren’t as racist as people make them out to be, no worse than the Imperials or the Dunmer
Maven Blackbriar. It will be fun.
To Alduin at Kynesgrove: "So you're the World-Eater. You don't look so impressive."
People are thinking all wrong. Choose Lucia in whiterun (or any kid I guess) Good luck killing her alduin. She is immortal.
Choose Braith. She isn't afraid of anything.
Talk about someone who would put alduin in their place.
There's nobody i wont fight!!!
She wouldn't even need to fight. Her words are her sword and her annoying attitude her shield.
Evil +Ancano +Grelod the kind +Maven Black-Briat +Mercer Frey +Nepos the Nose Good +Aela the huntress +Mjoll the lioness +General Tullius +Rune +Frea Interesting +Illia +Roggvir +Savos Aren +Eola +Cicero Honorable mention +Hadvar +Ralof +Torygg
Rune would be cool af
I’m obviously picking Belethor, for obvious reasons, that I am not willing nor should I say.
Do you have a sister to sell?
Handfuls!
With Alduin Destiny to kill himself
he isn’t humanoid
there was a popular mod for Morrowind back in the day that made Jiub, the guy on the prison ship with you at the start, the Nerevarine and you'd occassionally see him around "doing" parts of the main quest while you do side quests and stuff.
The courier, he'd speed run everything.
M'iaq the Liar for literally no reason I just wanna be him
Ulfric fooled you didn't he?
no? he called you storm breaker and basically made you third in command
>(imagine the whole empire being like that) Now that you mention it, Imperial counts did torture and execute Khajiit and Argonians in Oblivion.
Irl places like Chinatown or little Italy are not a pointer to the explicit existence of racism. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnic_enclave For the argonians at the docks, the policy isn’t reversed when the imperials take over.
This one chooses death to all
I mean, let's give Braith a chance and see what happens from a distance. Since she is not scared of fighting dragons, she should not have a problem being the Dragonborn
Argus the Bulwark bc he kinda hot
Mjoll She cares more about others than herself it seems so she would absolutely fuck up Alduin
Bad pick. Ulrich would use his status as the Dragonborn to try and usurp you, and likely succeed.
I would swap with Cicero. I just wanna watch the world burn. Plus wearing a jester outfit would be pretty neat.
Plus all the intercorpse you want.
Lydia, or any of the housecarls, follow the dragonborn around anyway, end up with some sweet loot out of it too.
Augur of dunlain
Serana. You either get a nice nap or an epic adventure
I’m turning into the thalmor leader, and ordering every single high elf to cast a sword through their throats. After that I kill myself
one of the kajit outside whiterun. I feel like they would fairly defend the people in skyrim who need it and all I really do is travel and trade anyway
Fuck all the caves and dungeons. Time to settle down and open a cheese shop.
I'm the dragonborn and I'm involved in all sorts of crime in Skyrim if I'm the one supposedly to save Skyrim well they're screwed so basically anyone who'd swap places will do in my case
Either Aela, Serena, or the Unbroken. I feel like all of them would love being the dragonborn, and do well, and I’d have a fun life
Any sentient humanoid, eh? SANGUINE IT IS!
Hmm, don't know any Sanguine. I once met a charming Breton Mage named Sam Guevenne, though.
You're right. I apologize for the mistake. Great man though, treated me to some delightful Black-Briar mead before he had to go.
Maybe Jenassa? She is a badass who would just kick ass and take names and I would love to live in Whiterun.
Cicero :)
See this is what I was looking for! The Night Mother needs us! 😂😂😂
The first guard who says "my cousin's out fighting dragons and what do I get? Guard duty" he wants to fight Dragons then he'll get to fight Dragons.
That guard who says he might be the dragonborn and he just doesn't know it yet. Unless he takes an arrow to the knee, everything should be fine.
Heimskr
Florentius from the Dawnguard. I wanna see if this guy can really speak to the deity.
Ulfric's respect for the title of Dragonborn only guarantees he'd fight Alduin. He'd now be canonically more powerful, would probably turn on you the second you tried to crack down on racism in his faction, and it'd probably end the same way it did with high king Toryyg: you letting him in thinking he wants to talk, only to have him kill you and one of your own guards allows him to escape because they agreed with him
J'zargho. He is a great wizard and he is kinda cute. No one can resist his charm. Not even Alduin.
I'm gonna inject a 'lil chaos and go with Cicero as the DB
Lydia. All of Tamriel is screwed and all the world can do is watch her die on stationary rocks.
Definitely Cicero. I wanna see how this turns out lol
Cicero
Ebony Warrior. Still super strong, can still shout, but now he can fulfill my destiny instead of me while I have fun exploring stuff.
Courier. He can find everyone, anywhere. He could just deliver a death scroll (tm) or something to all the baddies. Side thought: I've always liked the idea that he's actually the dragonborn and "friend" but just guiding you to do his work because you are good enough.
Nobody mentions my boy Kodlak Whitemane?
Karliah
Reads like a hearts of iron player talking about hitler’s strategy
?
“I could do it better than him”
never heard of “hearts of iron” (sorry)
It’s a grand strategy game series set just before WW2- early Cold War where you play as any nation that existed in that era. Since you can play as any nation you can play as Germany and there is a meme in the community where people will say that Hitler could have won the war if he just did [some meta game strategy]. To put it in Skyrim terms it’s like saying that anyone could be the best warrior in the world if they just used the fortify restoration loop or became a stealth archer. My original joke is you are saying you would fix Ulfric by switching him up. (Also the stormcloaks are not racist😁)
gotcha 🧐👍😁
do daedras count as humanoid ?
sorry i should have specified citizens of skyrim. Yes deadric princes are humanoid but i’m not including them in this prompt
“I’d definitely crack down on racism against non nords” yeah good fuckin luck when John Racism Racismson is the dragonborn I’m making maven the dragonborn because she’s hot and deserves it
You’re forgetting that by making Ulfric the new dragon born, he’s gonna absolutely destroy all non nords living in Skyrim with his new found powers. You’ve essentially just made super powered nord Hitler.
