You tend to find him often if you use Alternate Start and select “I just want to get out of this prison cell.” The Abandoned Prison is right next to his shack.
No problem. I love finding little things like this.
I still have not found the skeletal hand holding the sword outside Whiterun. That’s on my bucket list.
I've known about him for like almost 11 years, but only now I noticed a month ago his name was lucky Lorenz, I played first on my friend's PS3, bought his PS3, bought my own PS4 played on that bought the PS5 played on that bought a PC and I still play it I played it two days ago

Be aware that there are now mods to mod THAT, as well, adding new ways to start, such as beginning the game as a werewolf in Solstheim or digging your way out of your own grave after being drained by a vampire. You can also choose your starting spells, including starting with none at all.
It’s awesome. My last three playthroughs started as:
A thief in Riften.
A mage in the College.
The aforementioned werewolf in Solstheim.
It makes Role Playing that much easier to get into.
Oh almost certainly. I'll be back here tomorrow with a link to the inevitable article, because despite my hatred of GameRant, they always show up in my recommended articles

Yeah he has one of the treasure maps on him, its one of my first places to visit while in the area. Not so lucky. he has a skill book nearby and lots of goodies, poor guy.
Back in the olden times before Hearthfire, there was a modular house mod revolving around this guy's property. It's the only reason I knew about him, I otherwise rare venture down where he is
I remember finding a skeleton hand sticking out of the ground in a dungeon with heaps of rings on its fingers. It was in the dead end of the corridor. No idea where. Never found it since
I found him a few years ago whilst on a permadeath survival run and was trying to run away from some beasts - so I often drop in to see him if I am in the area as there is some easy loot available :)
There is a cool mod where you can build a nice shack at Lorenzo's place, getting his papers, and cleanning up all the debris, getting all the materials needed you can get a fine home
I actually rebuilt his house and is a proper woodland home for me with Dragonborn basement and blacksmith over the river with alchemy lab etc on the other side.
All you need is to download a mod and start gathering resources. It’s a pretty cool place.
It’s true. Reverted back to my Skyrim exploration days recently after completing almost every side item quest in ghost recon breakpoint. Got a little boring. But not Skyrim. I’m still finding new things to do every play.

Never knew that, thanks!

I go by that every new start, as it is on the way to Silent Moons Camp for LotD.
Yeah. I’ve heard it’s, like, right THERE, but I never seem to be able to find it. Meh. I’ll track it down sooner or later.
it's in the water, one of the streams not the river

Or with the Kaidan Mod, seeing as he's being tortured in the same place.
I need to install Kaiden. Apparently he and Lucien and Inigo chat with one another and I like that concept.
That they do.
Auri also talks with I think all 3. I was surprised when she started introducing herself to the squad. It was pretty cute.
Fucking every single modded follower seems to be able to interact with each other. It’s glorious
Alternate Start?

I did the Elsweyr alternate start but it bugged out when I escaped and crashed. Couldn’t save the file
Not sure which one that is. I haven’t tried that one.
Dang now I see why people love mods and why Skyrim has such horrible reviews on Xbox now
I bet those reviews are going down since Bethesda won’t fix their load order scrambling problem— or even acknowledge it.
That wouldn’t happen to be part of the Creation Club would it? I’m locked into a console for the time being
No, but it is available for Xbox.
Ah, the wrong console
Sorry, mate. It might be on PlayStation. I don’t know.
Its a mod that let's you skip Helgan and change your back story a little by starting in different places.
is alternate start a mod
A little further down in the comments [I answer that](https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrim/s/6XK5qTT9mB).
I found him. And I took his copy of The Lusty Argonian Maid for my, ahem, literary collection.
😭🤦🏽♂️
He is a horndog, def lucky in another capacity
Copy of Lusty Argonian Maid and a Dibellan shrine in his shack? Lucky in love but not with falling trees.
Be careful! You might become GameRant's next article with the title of this post.😂

I never remember where the maps are but I usually end up with most of them.

I was looking for this comment! I remember it too, and very fondly. Does the mod not exist anymore??
I hope it does, and I hope it has an Xbox port. That mod was the first I ever heard of modding, so I’m forever in love with it
I've never found him. Where is it?
Iirc near a fallen log over a river near Cradlecrush. East of Whiterun, north of Ivarstead.
I remember finding a skeleton hand sticking out of the ground in a dungeon with heaps of rings on its fingers. It was in the dead end of the corridor. No idea where. Never found it since
There’s a hand underneath Winterhold with rings. Maybe that’s what you are thinking of?
No. It's a random skeleton hand in a dungeon. Very hard to see. Doubtful I'll ever find it again after all this time.
Not so lucky.
Definitely not
I found him a few years ago whilst on a permadeath survival run and was trying to run away from some beasts - so I often drop in to see him if I am in the area as there is some easy loot available :)
No shit!! I found him while playing today for the first time in 12 years! With a copy of the Lusty Argonian Maid right next to him.
I’ve found him. Funny stuff like this are in all elder scrolls games I played
There is a cool mod where you can build a nice shack at Lorenzo's place, getting his papers, and cleanning up all the debris, getting all the materials needed you can get a fine home
Think I found him in my first game, lol
🤣🤣
I only first discovered him just recently myself.
Is he the dude across from darkshade (or something along those lines, cave with trolls and fishing)?
I actually rebuilt his house and is a proper woodland home for me with Dragonborn basement and blacksmith over the river with alchemy lab etc on the other side. All you need is to download a mod and start gathering resources. It’s a pretty cool place.
I found him for the first time this play through. Like my 6th play through. And I stumbled on him pretty easy, I was surprised I never saw him before
It’s true. Reverted back to my Skyrim exploration days recently after completing almost every side item quest in ghost recon breakpoint. Got a little boring. But not Skyrim. I’m still finding new things to do every play.
One of my first play throughs. Definitely found some interesting things in that game over the years
He was anything but lucky , poor guy got struck down by a tree in the middle of a meat beating session 😂
I come across new and odd things in this game almost constantly; it is what makes the game so great.
I just stumbled on this guy yesterday! Love the little random scenarios like this that you stumble upon while exploring.
