If you're worried about breaking Inigo, there's a similar mod called "Dovakiin Relaxes too", where it adds a power to do idle animations. If you're around a follower, spouse, etc. You can hug them. I have the Serana dialogue add on and it hasn't broken her

It’s just a quick hug using the default Skyrim animation. It doesn’t give any buffs or benefits. It just adds a dialogue and positions both characters correctly. I installed it this morning and love it. It’s a great little mod!

\- First, thanks for creating a reddit page for this. Unfortunately I don't use reddit like at all, but I do reply to any comment, question, suggestion on nexus or on the youtube video's comments.
\- It's safe to use on Inigo. The mod won't try to control him (or anyone) in any way, it's just added dialogue to followers and a played idle. He won't get brain damage :)
\- It works for **any** follower, vanilla or modded, even those not yet released. There's only 2 currently known existing exceptions, one is Sofia because her mod is written in a very unique way, but she has a voiced patch for her on both platforms now. (SE released today, thanks to kinesthesia\_). Other exception is the buyable armored troll in Dawnguard, who are not considered followers by the game in the strict sense, therefore the dialogues don't show up for them. (If someone's wondering, no, patching them is low priority).
\- Strictly speaking, in-game objects (sorry for the general term) to be hugged must have dialogues enabled on them. This restriction therefore excludes summoned creatures, ghosts, dremoras, horses, etc. Horse support might be added later at some point in the future, through activation boxes. I want to hug Shadowmere too.
\- It's currently just aesthetics, but I've received very cool suggestions for what kind of gameplay boons/hug rewards should be implemented in the future.

I've got oldrim so I'll be good. Does it vary from follower to follower? Because besides the two I mentioned I've got Vilja and a fair amount of quest mods that I'm pretty sure add followers, so idk how many of them would work
It works for Vilja as well. The mod should work on most followers vanilla or custom, as long the follower is recognized as a PlayerTeammate (among other conditions found in SSEdit). I think Sofia was coded differently, hence the need for a patch.
