My corn snake glass surfed for the best part of 3 days when I first brought him home, he's now a super chill dude. I have no idea on husbandry for that species but I would just guess that if she was too cold she wouldn't be active and glass surfing. She's probably just stressed at a new environment, not the size of the tank. Just try to dial in your husbandry and I wouldn't worry about weirdness in the first couple of days.
