Iāve come across a few bobcats. Theyāre gorgeous. Theyāre nothing to be afraid of. They have absolutely no interest in us. Just donāt mess with them (this includes trying to pet them) and youāll be fine.
I havenāt been lucky enough to spot a mountain lion but every time Iām on Commonwealth I see a ton of wildlife. Too many coyotes to count, a fox, bobcats, and that end of the golf course seems to attract a lot of deer.

There is, or at least used to be one, in the Hansen Dam area. I came face to face with it while hiking deep in the wash. It absolutely freaked me out because I had no clue bobcats existed. I legit thought I ran into some sorta mythical creature lol If you're familiar with the wash, theres a lot of supernatural stories about it.

I've seen those guys at Chino Hills. Tame in the sense they don't go running off at lightning speed at the first sign of humans
