Eh, I would actually somewhat disagree, that loss was a one-off as we won most of our games after that. I think it actually bonded the team and proved that they absolutely have what it takes, holding the line against Tottenham away with 9 men. Could have won, should have won, could have gone differently, but even a draw would have been a win for me. Mostly really unlucky that it ended up being a loss. Could have done with the points obviously, but we made several other unrelated mistakes later in the season so it doesn't really matter at the end of the day.

England’s midfield is stacked so it’s just bad timing but if he continues to improve, then I can see him getting a call up.

I can't understand Phillips at all. He gets zero minutes for his club. The others I can kind of get for various reasons. But the Euros this summer is probably the last major tournament Hendo is a part of. So that ought to be 2 spots opening up. I really think Jones and Elliott would make great additions to the squad. Jones is energetic and press resistant and Elliott is like a Foden-lite type player.
