Should have gone to Barcelona or Real Madrid instead, both those teams would have had the right type of players around him to succeed. Man Utd in the last 10 years have gone through a quite a few managers all having different philosophies & types of players they like. So it was always going to be hard for any Utd player because of the constant changes. Only team i remember that could cycle through Coaches and still perform at a high level was Chelsea teams between 2005-2012, those Chelsea teams had unbelievable players like Lampard & Terry etc, but they were very much a anomaly.
