Mine is very similar to yours, very very fuzzy. She sheds a lot in the summer but grows it back in the winter. I even did a DNA test on her as I was convinced she was half Devon Rex or something, but she’s 100% Sphynx!
Mine was sort of like that when I lived in Colorado but when we moved to Texas she lost all that fur. About 18 months before she died, she grew fur on her tail and feet. Turns out she had degenerative spine disease and her circulation was probably no longer as good, so I imagine she was colder in those areas. Just an FYI that new/unexpected hair growth can be a symptom of a medical issue.
I left Sphynx for 2 months and the sitters apartment is way cooler 24-7 compared to my house. Hair was long everywhere outside the body and it was summer. A month after being back at my house the hair fell off especially with a dedicated sunbathing window that’s used daily.
Yes, my boy is the same way, curls and all! Does her fur come out/shed super easily? You can always tell where my boy has been laying or if he’s been rubbing on my pant leg lol

I call mine Mr Velvet Pants becuase his doesn't get very long, but he is definitely wearing some pants.

My adult gets fur on his feet, his flanks, and his tail.
mine's 18mo old, and he has furrier patches on these same areas! not as long as OP's cat though. i love his fuzzy flanks 😹

She looks a lot like a Devon Rex, which can certainly have varying degrees of fur.
Our newest (3mo old) has a bit more fur than her sister. We’ll see how it grows or not over time :)

Well, genetic mutation was there from the very beginning. My little guy gets a bit furry and then not so furry a few times a year
