the commercial for “Snail Bites” ALONE has me cracking a rib, love that episode to death, it’s so funny and cute seeing so much interaction between Spongebob and GareBear <33
that being said, Have You Seen This Snail is right there with it :’))
Suction Cup Symphony is an underrated episode I agree. Honestly feels like Looney Tunes but with a lot of doctors jokes including a thinly veiled prostate exam innuendo. For some reason it doesn’t feel obnoxious, probably because they were incorporated in such a genius way. Squidward writing Sponge and Pat’s antics into his song feels like an homage to classical songs with bizarre instruments irl, like how the original version of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 overture used cannons and bells at parts. The payoff is that Squidward got a happy ending and it wasn’t a full of torture episode which is nice.
You have a great fav episode! It's one of mine too. I always pick "Dying For Pie" because I in fact, cannot pick. Some additional ones that I randomly think of right now are,
I often pick second, "Are You Happy Now?" (feels kinda like a sequel to Dying For Pie)
"Planet of the Jellyfish" (come on, it rocks)
"Pull Up a Barrel" (That ATMOSPHERE!)
"Chocolate with Nuts" (not original at all, but it's one of the few I'd actually agree is one of the best SpongeBob episodes)
"A Pal for Gary" (some of the best dark humor I've ever seen onscreen)
"Ain't That the Tooth" (saw it recently and it's such a well-connected story. It's not all a bunch of painful tooth gags.)

Planet of the Jellyfish is one of my faves. I love how SpongeBob reacts to the Jellyfish trying to turn him into a clone. I also love “hold the mayonnaise”
Same, it's an all-around very good episode that was in fact based on "Return of the Bodysnatchers", and I love all their classic science-fiction parodies. The mayonnaise idea was just wild for so many reasons and I love the "boss battle". And the joke about "some random guy". When I'd watched it for the first time I was having the most depressed day ever and it instantly cured me of that. I like how the jellyfish is literally used as an alien, very creative.

Unrelated, but everyone calls those suicide "jokes". That was a serious episode geared towards the topic and wasn't supposed to be funny; people seem incapable of understanding SpongeBob can write about anything solemn, haha.
Either way, it's not banned or whatever; I have it on DVD, but then again, I have "Mid-Life Crustacean" on DVD too. At one time it was quite infamous.
