Got me wondering if CIG might be willing to push Nyx out before it's completely finished. Just slap it in there with a Jumppoint, star, asteroids and Delemar. The planets can be added when they're ready just like they were for Stanton. Maybe the station could be PO, just add a clinic, internal elevator system that connects the separate strut hubs and one or two docking collars. No cargo area, no hangars. Or a derelict PO even, with gravity functioning for some strut hubs and pads, but not others.
Levski would also need a clinic, and it's hangars may need to be updated.
its not scrapped, it didnt belong in stanton to begin with. so after stanton got close to complete they yanked it out of stanton for eventual reintroduction into the nearby Nyx system
Very early in the PU's life, CIG needed a test bed for hangars and "hero" NPC's [Wallace Klim,Recco Battaglia] and Delemar was a good candidate. Small planetoid with just one location, Levski. We knew from day one that it would eventually be removed from the Stanton system since in lore it's in the Nyx system. It will come back when we get Nyx.
In addition to the in lore reasons, Levski's presense took up resources needed to add crusader assets if I remember right. Just not enough resource for everything in the system at that point. You're gonna love the feel of flying there through, the desolation and openness of coming into that mining field on a humongous asteroid is different than all the other landing zones. its really something to experience.
