I know giant grant games did some, maybe he'd have advice? I'm actually interested in doing a SC2 campaign as well, so I'm curious if you find anything.

> I'm actually interested in doing a SC2 campaign as well Raelcum and 7thAce are both very good at doing SC2 speedruns of levels. They also have been on GDQ(Games Done Quick) for SC2.

> and looking around there's only been video guides, which I am not interested in. The video guides tell you exactly what to do, show you exactly what to do, and show you where to do it. You need to have a visual guide for speedrunning RTS games, because that allows you to get your mechanics and timing just right.

Some text to refer to quickly during the run is a lot less cumbersome than going back and forth between searching in a 2 hour video and looking at what you are supposed to do.

You could always take your own notes based on watching the video - but before you do that, I might have a better suggestion. I know speedrun.com isn't always the primary hub for speedrunning information, so I'd check Discord instead. All three Starcraft II campaign pages link the [Real-Time Strategy Speedrunning Discord](https://discord.gg/dy3GRjw), which almost certainly has a channel for Starcraft II. That might have better information for you. Edit: As someone else mentioned, GiantGrantGames also has done SC2 Campaign speedrunning; his discord invite is [here](https://discord.com/invite/q6T296q).

I've checked the RTS Speedrunning Discord and haven't seen any notes there yet. I will probably end up making my own notes.

I actually just remembered another pretty good resource. [This guy](https://www.youtube.com/@StuGames) on youtube has videos of individual level runs. Not much in the way of commentary, but could be useful.

Yea, this guy is basically the next best thing to actual notes. Thanks for sharing this.
