"I'm gonna get my shit together I swear!"
"I know what I want to do with my future!"
"I'm totally sure, that my choice of study will grant me a job"
"Im not suicidal"
"Uncertain about my future? What are you even talking about?"
Find work, find rough heading, and stick to it unless you hate it. At this age there’s time enough to spend a few years unproductively improving yourself
This was me. The Xanax had a tight hold on me at that age. Stripping, suicide attempts, baker acts, dropped out of college (turns out I didn’t even need it so at least that worked out lol) That was 10 years ago, but it feels like another lifetime. Life gets better. I would call this the “hang in there” starter pack.
This was a lot of people I knew growing up, most of them are well off with kids and careers now. Better to make your mistakes when you’re young, this shit can still happen to people no matter how old they get.
Youll get over it thats a fun time not destorying shit lol, still in school you're ahead, I did that shit at that age dropped out, got back in and graduated, imo bette off for it than if i did 4 years, I had my favorite times my 5th year out there wouldnt have been there
Look, I know this isn't what many people want to hear, but, around your early to mid 20s (23 to 26), you should have a general idea of what field you want to work in.
You don’t have to know the specifics at 23. And it is normal to not have a clue at 19.
But the sooner you have a clear goal, you genuinely want to work towards the better it is for you.
It is understandable if you go from wanting to be a psychologist to being a social worker. It is understandable if you go from med school to realizing nursing is more suited to you. It is less normal to have drastically different options bouncing around in your head like engineer vs literature professor.
You don't want to be the guy who spent half his 20s doing nothing to work towards
his goals and start working towards them when you are nearing 30 or older and your parents don't/can't support you.
Better late than never, but the earlier, the better.
Hate that this was me at 19 minus the xans. Got my life (and grades) together junior year though. To anyone going thru this, it’s gets better. Got a career and a good life now.

Have been in this rut for a bit. Started being physically active, and am currently finding God and reading the scripture. Slowly but surely finding new meaning to life
Ahhh fuck. Me 15 years ago. Go to therapy, kids. Beg borrow steal do whatever you gotta do but prioritize the shit that works and look really really hard at the shit that doesn’t…
I was like that 18-20. In my case it wasn't xan but weed and coke.
It's amazing how I had to end on the ER with brain damage and doctors telling me to stop or die in 2 months to finally try to put my stuff togheter.
This is me minus the xans. I'm an 18 years old male with no real clue of what I'm doing with my life. I work as a buried fiber optic linemen for 120 $ a day cash . I smoke an 1/8th of pot daily and cigarettes as well . I like my job and don't think I'm slowly destroying my life .

U still got time brah
That's too young to have life figured out anyway.
Not having your life figured out at 19 is absolutely ok, having a benzodiazepine addiction isn't ok at any age
Idk man, if my 85 year old grandpa wants to have a Xanax addiction who am I to judge?
At 85 what else is there to do all day but abuse prescription pills
my people…
My man
The thing about teenagers is that they think that they have it figured out.
You'd be (unfortunately) surprised. (maybe weed instead of Xanax, but still)
I love surprises.
♻️
Can sorta relate, I had a close friend who ODed when she was 18 from taking pills. I miss her
man that's rough, hope you're ok
It’s been years but I still miss her
not at all surprised, that's the kind of shit that sticks with you forever
This was me until I turned 30. It gets better.
Same

If you're gonna dump 1 please make it xanax
But I LOVE xanax
Hope you feel better soon :/
This was me.
What 19year old hasn't pined for an ex, smoke, drank, and felt unmotivated
This is normal, it just takes time to grow up.
Everything there is fine imo, but fuck benzos
can i have just one unique experience? fuck you OP
You probably shouldn't take so much Xanax tho

Another case: Parents always on case of child and disappointed
ive been this dude for 5 years starting from that age :(
I mean hasn't been sober for a week straight in any given year I feel you could say about quite a lot of people
I miss those days so much...
I’ve been sober for 10 days today!
Ouch

I mean I think everything there is right except the suicideboys album lol.
I remember starting at this pack a few months ago just thinking, fuck that's me. Hope that life looks up for all of you.
Lollll
That was me 15 years ago. Life turned out great.
This was me! It gets even better: heroin! Sober 8 years and I can laugh about it now but yeah it was pure hell.
oh fuck this is literally 19/20 year old me
If this is you, get some help dude. It’s not too late
Nah just a repost, but still hits close to home lol. Glad things are different now.
Hahaha let’s laugh at the health crisis that’s destroying an entire generation!

God this is too real. Just can't rn
Replace the drugs with alcohol and I'm this at fifteen. I'm not ok lmao
little too close to home this time
Either still hung up on his ex, or he never even kissed a girl in high school and feels like he missed a milestone there
Hahah shiiiiiiiiiit I’m 27
This is me but without the substances... Just living in a horrible country and glued to my phone
Forgot the Zyns
Is Xanax still popular? I was hoping that was done for. I wasted too much of my brain on that shit.
me before my ADHD diagnosis
I'm feeling a little too exposed here
Somehow burnout and depression is super common when you become an adult. Not really sure why. I've been through it too.

Can we stop getting loser starter packs?

This is being young, not destroying your life
