That dude who used the sea dragon to Spiderman his way to the alien containment facility was pretty cool

Making a bridge from the 2nd island to the Aurora, then to the gun island, and connect all the precursor bases on that base to. Also all in survival. (I have only gone from the red grassy area behind the Aurora to the inside of the Aurora in survival (took about 20 hours))
Reaper: "Whatever game you're playing it won't work, you can't defeat me."
Player: "I know, but he can" -> Prawn suit + grapple arm + drill arm + repair tool.
Without the prawn or stasis rifle, it’s “hard.” Because there’s still the option of waiting for it to come towards you and dump gas pods in its face.
With the knife, but no stasis rifle? Hard, but it’s wasting more time than killing them otherwise would. And even that wastes time. Just avoid them.
I decked out my base quite a bit. I have a large multipurpose room sectioned off with enough room to sleep 10 people and a science lab at the other end, two moon pools, multiple power sources, gardens, and another large multipurpose room with a full ‘bar’ and lounge with enough seating for probably 30 people. lol in my head I justified it as “what if Riley knew he might find survivors?” Then he’d be set up to bring them back. I think base building is my favorite part of the game lol
I made fully functional zoos on both games, plantlife included. (Went the extra mile by mimicking the biome each creature lives).
And in another playthrough I eliminated all hostile leviathans on hardcore.
Back in beta, I swam down the edge of the map until I was under it, then back up again without entering a vehicle, building, or using a breathing tube. I did it all with pre-placed oxygen tanks.
I hate Crabsnakes. I hate them so much that I take their eggs, incubate their children and then throw them into a Bioreactor filled with acid.
The creature dies a horrible death, desperately trying to breath water but only flushing Hydrochloric Acid through its gills, flopping and spasming violently as it is being eaten alive by an uncaring machine.
All to power my base and modem so I can watch porn.
The quilted double bed may as well be a neon sign saying "I had to deal with 3 reapers just to get a larger bed with a blanket. Worth." Far as I remember, you can only find it in the mountains wreck and it's SUPER close to a single reaper and close to like 2 other ones, maybe more depending on how you got there.
Alternatively having bases filled to the brim with wall lockers, packed as densely as possible. Shows they are struggling for resource space from how unfathomably rich they are.
Today i beat the Game in Hardcore without building a Base and only using the cyclops considering that my First two normal Hardcore Triest failed (because of warpers)
I think Thats a pretty Solid flex
Having advanced wiring kits in storage.
Too damn real.

Not having a secret shameful coral tube where they dropped the 30 acid mushrooms they picked up two minutes into the game.
Was this your first time playing, or was this after you already knew you didn't need so many?
Lol I feel personally attacked XD
No roadkills.
What do you mean no roadkills?
1 loud knock on the Seamoth = at least 1 dead fish… probably more
Impossible.

Damn that’s nuts! Did it make the game laggy at all having that many base pieces?
Yeah. A base of that size would DEFINITELY cause some lag.
Not enough to stop me
lol fair enough
It helped me fear reapers even more
Happy cake day!!
Very nice! Did the wildlife try to destroy any of it?
The reapers attacked me when I was getting the metal scrap for titanium (it took a lot of titanium), but that was it because it is mostly above water.
Scanning a live and not-stuck reaper without stasis rifle.
Subnautica matador
Subnautador
I honestly completely forgot the stasis rifle was an option, thank goodness I remembered before attempting to do this T-T
i said WITHOOOOOUT stasis rifle. that's cheating.
My thalassophobia said no
I collected one of every plant in a garden around my base
I collected 1 of every base in a garden around each plant.
Having photos of dead reapers on the walls of your base (I had that but only for two ghost juveniles)
Not a flex. Killing leviathans is very easy.
Reaper: "Whatever game you're playing it won't work, you can't defeat me." Player: "I know, but he can" -> Prawn suit + grapple arm + drill arm + repair tool.
We talking with or without prawn/stasis rifle

Getting on the Sunbeam
Base on the void cliff was pretty neat
Having your base always have power WITH 2+ water filtration things
4 bioreactors+4 plant pots =4 water filters
Easier to use thermal reactors if you have a heat source nearby. You could build em far from your base but gets annoying
I made fully functional zoos on both games, plantlife included. (Went the extra mile by mimicking the biome each creature lives). And in another playthrough I eliminated all hostile leviathans on hardcore.
So if you kill them they don’t respawn?
Only the ones in the void
Good to know!

Killing a ghost leviathan on my first playthrough...
Damn. You, sir, are a legend
A system to farm ion cubes at will
Building a base under the map, in the backrooms, on survival
Making the entire map one big base
Courage.
Only using the sea glide for transport
Having cooper and silver
I scanned every leviathan in the game without crafting a stasis rifle :³
