If you want something that leans a little more classic but might fit your vibe I would suggest:
Perfume: The Story of a Murderer by Patrick Süskind
Dr. Jeckel and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
"Jack Glass" by Adam Roberts. Sci-fi murder mystery. Content warning for this recommendation: sexual violence plays a prominent role for the first part of the novel.
Just a quick glance at your post history I would say possibly the monster hunter international series by Larry correia. It's urban fantasy/adventure with a gun nut twist. Definitely one of my favorites.
I don't know if you have heard of Kindle Vella or not. I have a story on there called "Steve" that I think is fun. I wrote it in very casual conversational style that readers have really liked so far.
I don't know quite how to compare it to any other story because it's a little different than anything I have ever read. It's basically a slightly surreal, fish out of water story, with a little romantic comedy mixed in.

I get that way sometimes. If you like adventure though, I highly recommend "The Sand Sea" by Michael McClellan. My top read for 2020.
