Malcolm is a pretty big dude. We played high school football together and he played college football ball at Dartmouth. I was say he was at least 6’2” and weighed 220 at playing weight. I’m sure he leaned down after college but he was still pretty big dude on the show from what I recall.
Q is big brained too. He doesn’t come off that way but he’s had his back against the wall and is playing one of the best social/strategic games at the same time.
Trying to teach Bahnu was a great idea too. Now of course Bahnu was basically unteachable, but good players will try to get someone on their side and he's smart for giving it a shot

I told my husband that Hunter was going to end up with a wife after this show just because of how many women would fall in love with him 😂 He really is the total package; could’ve gone to med school but chose to work with kids, smart as hell, good with his hands, strong and athletic, and he’s actually cute too!
Stop, *I* am in love with Hunter. He's the ideal man. Even before the first episode, when I was just reading their blurbs while planning my Fantasy Tribe draft, he was my first pick.
I was fully ready to dislike him and based on his first confessional at came where he talked about not meshing with the other survivors, a Rocksroy for example. But he immediately surprised me by adapting, asking for help, and making close friends in the tribe. Then everything else about his was icing on the cake.
I personally think it's funny but I get the pause. I don't think it's anything insidious. I've typically seen it applied to hot men who have a slight or major feminine or like empathetic quality and that like lowers their intimidation factor ? Like they're less threatening ? They seem like you would be comfortable and safe around them. Like a baby girl who just brings forth notions of being cute, precious, innocent, good natured. Etc.

I almost never understand when people call survivor players bland. It rarely makes sense to me.
This dude is single-handedly dominating team challenges, is smart, is making literal beds, climbing trees like Tarzan, and more.
How is he bland? Because he’s a quiet person? Quiet doesn’t equal bland. He’s one of the least bland people on this season.
We have seen a million versions of EVERY type of person on survivor. I mean majority of the time they specifically cast each character type for a season.
And if anything, I’d argue we haven’t seen a million versions of Hunter. Typically the provider and/or challenge beasts are inept strategically and often times even socially. Hunter seems very smart and pretty socially aware. His one comp would maybe be Malcolm? But I won’t say that adamantly because it’s early and we haven’t seen a ton of him and his tribe yet.
