It’s unreal. I’ve been bouncing back and forth between the new extended version of The Beggar from the tour and The Knot for the past 2 weeks - just hits like nothing else.
The Nox Orae 2023 recording is top tier, but it's the 35 minute variant, not the newer 60+ min version, it also has a top tier version of Birthing which I personally think is better than both The Knot and The Beggar
I've been listening to the version performed at Schlachthof, Wiesbaden lately, and it's transcendental. I didn't think the Deliquescence version could be topped, but Swans always manages to outdo themselves.
