A couple months ago I attended to a King Krule show and it was the first time I managed to meet fans and King Krule is a more famous and accessible band than Swans. I do touch grass y'all.
Hey, I'm from the United States and I've never known ANYONE in real life, male or female, that has even heard of 'Swans' let alone liked them...
And I'm not saying that as an insult but rather as the plain and simple truth... I'm a huge Swans fan and have listened to all of their albums, including The Burning World countless times and every time after asking any serious music fan I meet if they like Swans and being subsequently told they never heard of them, I try to turn them onto Swans and their discography and really oversell them as best as I can...But unfortunately, even though most say that they will check them out, they never actually do or they listen to one song and decide it's not for them...

Lol me (i’m nonbinary tho) and my irl friend who I met at body of light show. We both enjoy swans and other bands, and went to see them live few months ago! Was cool. I think you’ll meet swans fans if u go to alt music shows or nights

Slowdive are considered a bit of a joke in Britain. The ultimate 'genre band', i.e derivative beyond belief. They're the Hootie and the Blowfish of the early nineties scene.
