Actually, I think it would be awesome to share secrets with coordinates. They would reveal a lot less than posting pictures or names of locations, and I'm not likely to remember specific coordinates very well anyway. Plus, I plan on playing with no minimap from the start because I found myself looking at it a lot in BotW.
That's a cool idea. You could just post the coordinates without telling people how to get there, and they'd have to figure it out. And take it on faith that you aren't leading them into a huge enemy camp underground.
I personally don't like looking at it and I don't generally feel lost in BotW or TotK because the landmarks are very apparent and I can always just open my map if I want to.
When there's a minimap, I tend to look too much at it and I miss things as I pass by, so I love being able to turn it off and just enjoy the game without it.
How is posting coordinates any different than just stating the exact location/its relative whereabouts or posting an image of it noted on the map with the colour markers? If you saw some random 12-digit coordinates posted on here, would you actively remember them and be able to recall them even 10 minutes later?
No, the caverns and islands will not be procedurally generated, and the existence of coordinates is nothing to worry about
Just to add, Ganondorf will be found in Hyrule Castle (again), that's practically his home anyway

At this point we've honestly seen the castle more under the control of Ganondorf than not, so yeah it's basically his home

I highly doubt it. Honestly Nintendo probably added coordinates so that it would be easier to share locations
