Hi everyone!
Did you know that starting July 1st, 2023, Reddit will implement a policy that could potentially increase the costs of running third-party Reddit apps? This change may impact popular apps like Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Boost, and others. Consequently, users may encounter issues with their preferred Reddit app unless adjustments are made to comply with Reddit's new API usage policy. These limitations will affect all users, not just moderators. If you are concerned about these developments, there is an [Open Letter](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModCoord/comments/13xh1e7/an_open_letter_on_the_state_of_affairs_regarding/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) to Reddit that you can read and sign on to express your thoughts.

Tip for those that hate Muktorock as much as me. Fuse a hydrant to a shield and it helps clear the muck super fast. Or even better homing cart with hydrant on top
Fuse made boomerangs fucking amazing in this game, unironically.
Frost emitters, shock emitters, flame emitters, hydrants. All amazing. Then you get Gleeok horns on them. Put a lightning Gleek horn on a giant boomerang, you won't wanna go back.
My go to is elemental Lizalfos tails. They're not super rare, and it turns any boomerang into a 6 foot wide elemtal whirlwind, plus the elemental lasts a long while (in my experience at least
NOT SUPER RARE?! My dude those are weirdly rare, and you need SO SO SO MANY to upgrade all the armor. I'm not saying don't, but if you're one of those guys who has to upgrade all the armor, definitely consider alternatives to the tail.
Or get as many as you need and then fuse the surplus.
I hated the boomerangs so much in BOTW (probably unfairly) they just felt like a half baked afterthought & annoying to use. So I’m a tough sell but I’ll have to give it a shot
Another tip: fuse your best damaging material to a Zora sword. The entire battle is in water, so each hit does a TON of damage. Only had to catch Muktorock twice lol.
Wait. Um, I'm sorry. The bosses need to be fought twice? All of them of just some? The fire boy is already down there. Oh geez. Can you please just give me the tiniest bit of info. I don't want to Google and ruin it for myself. Please and thanks. Sorry for being a damn dweeb.
you only need to beat the bosses once— you can just challenge them again in the depths optionally, for extra treasure & a fuse-able part (like what the stone taluses drop)
Ya same, the entire water temple felt like a joke to me. Puzzles were super simple and boss was a cake walk. I struggled much much more with Fire temple.
Me too
I think people actually tried to use Sidon's power to beat him. I shot him with splash fruit arrows. The whole thing was over in a minute, definitely my easiest fight.
Refights in the Depths are harder because you are less prepped for him.
In the Water Temple you likely have Zora weapons, likely have an Opal Rod, etc.
But in a refight you very likely do NOT have a Zora weapon or an Opal Rod. So what was one of the easiest fights can turn into one of the hardest.
Man, I gotta make more use of homing carts. I got a few from the zonai machine and thought "Man, these are incredibly useful! Better save them for when I *really* need them!"
I could never understand why people didn’t like that muktorok fight, until I fought it again in the depths. Having low gravity made it easy as you could bullet time whenever you wanted. Without that, f this guy.
He was the reason I learned about homing carts and hydrants. Then I saw someone use a big wheel on top of the homing cart and had hydrants spinning on the wheel. People are so much more creative than I am.
I put a big wheel on a hover platform, then a hydrant on one side and a spike on the other with a second hydrant on the end of the spike.
Raising it up above the middle of the arena covers most of the arena.
I played through this entire game with the sword and shield skill I got from BoTW fully aware that I was making things harder on myself by not leaning into the zonai devices. Loved it, glad I did it. Second playthrough, I'm going in a totally different direction. All engineering, all the time.
I had to cheese it a little in the depths and switch to rocket shields. My 5 year old son was 1 hit away from beating him at the temple because of bullet time and low gravity. You’re absolutely correct.
I hated the mucktorok fight but mainly because I ran out of arrows when I was on the water temple and I didn’t go get more bc I was like, it’ll be fine I don’t use arrows that much” lol, I did beat it without arrows but it took me way longer that normal. When I met it in the depths it was so much easier to fight bc I had arrows
The Hebra boss was easiest I don't think it damaged me once and it was dead instantly. Hebra boss was my favourite though because it was fun fighting it in the air and I love using bows in this game
I just encountered it in the depths and beat it, but I had a lot of difficulty because of how dark it was. Does anyone have any tips for people like me who find it too dark to fight him lol
The one in the Desert depths or Hebra depths? Honestly the two in Hebra weren’t bad once I had the lights on but desert was still dark kinda even after getting them all. As long as you can see the portal to see where he’s coming from under you just move forward enough and you can hit all three ice covers with a Lynel/Forst Dweller bow and it only takes one shot at each. Or alternatively just fall through the circle when he’s shooting the spikes and honestly he’s the one boss you can kill without ever needing a weapon.
I recently discovered that you don't even need a weapon to fight him, just go above him and wait for him to sacrifice his armor for some horribly aimed attacks.
I didnt even know about the diving until I fought it in the Depths. When I faught it in the temple, I used bomb flower arrows and said to myself how would you even beat him if you ran out of arrows or bombs?
Ghoma and Colgerra were easy af. The seized construct was fun. Most annoying was the zora boss. The only reason I go out of my way to fight it in the depths is for the crystallized charges.
I had my husband fight the Zora boss for me. I was like "Fuck this guy, I'm not doing this," and so he helped me beat it, and now I'm at 120+ hours lol. No shame.
When I played botw for the first time, I made my 9 year old brother kill all the bosses and do the divine beasts lmao. I just wanted to wear cool outfits and run around hyrule.
Colgerra was easy but it was so much fun! I would love to play another game/battle that uses the paraglider/skygliding/wind movement mechanics, but it's more challenging.
I apparently did it wrong but didn't care. I had shock fruit and electric chu chu jelly, not wasting my time with Rijus lighting or, the apparently part, using a mirror to stun it once the hives were done with.
It is a very similar fight to the final Master Kohga fight- use something big to swing him into the walls, which makes him vulnerable for a few moments. Repeat.
The game with a sword that fires projectiles, giant box-shaped bosses that try to crush you, a sludge-spewing octopus controlling a laser-shooting shark, and a giant long flying monster that drops rare items.
I’ve only done wind and water temple, and then I’ve also found Muktorok in the depths again, and I can absolutely say I hate the muktorok fight. I find it tedious as all hell
How was it frustrating? It gives you a massive window to attack it. All you have to do is block, and while it's recoiling, you just hit it a bunch of times. That's the only strategy, it doesn't get more straight-forward than that
Totk is my favorite game of all time… but mucktorock might be my least favorite boss fight in any game. Alternatively, the Ganondorf fight is my favorite boss fight in any game
I liked muckto because it was my last fight, so when knocked out of the shark me and the 4 sages gathered around and kicked the ever loving shit out of it together
Real bonding moment
Muktorok was so fun, it was a neat puzzle-fight that was presented and also not very difficult. Don’t understand all the hate it gets.
Least favorite (and easiest) was the seized construct, it just felt felt…unfinished. Like, I was expecting more out of it than just „oooo smack them twice“
A lot of people just don't use their items. They pull out their favorite sword with a boring +whatever fuse on it, they activate Sidon when they can, and that's all they got. No spring to leap into the air to shoot the boss to knock him down and then land next to him to whale on him. No hydrants or splash fruit to clear the mud piles. Just that one-in-three times they can squarely hit the shark with Sidon's attack and then wading through molasses after a guy who bounces all over the place to maybe, *maybe* get one hit on him.
Ironically enough I was able to hit pretty well with Sidon. It took a while to get used to, but it’s pretty much just like shooting at any other moving target. Not to mention using R makes it a LOT easier
Colgerra was probably my favourite (and easiest). It was my first boss, and getting to the temple was so much fun.
Seized Construct is my least favourite because I hate how slow using the construct is. The fight is easy enough considering how formulaic it is, I just hate using the construct.
I loved colgerra because I love paragliding! Yes it was easy but jumping through its body and seeing the ice shatter is so satisfying lol. I also loved the Tulin story.
I’ve done all the bosses except ganon, I’m trying to get all the lightroots before going after him
Muktorock, ruins an entire section of the continent, has a civilization on its knees, the champion needs the help of the hero to take down this terrible threat.
Hydrant: 😏
Alright this might be weird but.. Ganon. I put rockets on most of my shields and just flew up and shot him repeatedly with a 5x lynel bow and keese eyes. Made the fight extremely easy but also not fun at all
Colegra and the Marbled Ghoma were the easiest and most fun. All the rest were kinda difficult. I thought they were fun and I wouldn’t have changed a thing however.
I did Rito, Zora and the Gorons so far.
I liked the Rito fight because it was fun figuring out the movement patterns and the bullet time was nice. Zora I had trouble using the Sidon abilities because I clicked through the instructions too fast and just used a lot of chu chu jellies and splashfruit to clear the ground.
Easiest for me would be the Goron boss because it was basically run around, fire off our drug kingpin buddy and reposition him to take out the legs.
Upon seeing Mucktorok the following sounds left my mouth:”Oh my god it’s so cuuuuuWHATTHESHIT?!” I both visually and emotionally enjoyed it. It also reminded me of Mario sunshine and that game always makes me happy.
Ghoma was the easiest for me because I just kept taking out his legs the second he stood up. In general, I had fun with all the bosses, the least fun was the construct cause I kinda got bored.
the final ganon battle, which i did today. that was the fight of all fights tbh and it made me glad i waited to finish the game.
but from these, honestly Seized Construct. I got all the other ones in one try but oh wow did this one KICK my ASS. i beat it on a whim eating all my foods and giving everything i had. i would redo all the other fights for fun, not this one.
Oh, the Ghoma? So easy, I beat it while knitting a sweater! But that Mucktorok... let's just say we're not on good terms. And the Construct? Pure boss-fight bliss!
I think I enjoyed every boss (counting Ganondorf and Kohga) except Mucktorok. Mucktorok was just such a boring boss compared to the others, Colguera for example is really easy but at least the whole battle takes place in the air wich is so epic. Mucktorok just feels like you are battling that giant squid from Super Mario Sunshine.
Cool to see someone else saying this, cuz I also didn't have much of a problem with him despite what everyone else says, but I was also incredibly sleepy and can't remember how the fight went.
I might have used rocket+shield to jump over mud puddles...
The Wind boss fight was the coolest. The music, the set up, everything was great.
The other three bosses were such a disappointment. The water temple was an embarrassment.
Mmm. It really is a tie between Col Badguy and People Seized with Construct for easiest. I think I enjoy fighting the sky beast a little more, but I've never gotten to re-fight the construct, so...
Go-man is perfectly cromulent. He is the very definition of a Zelda boss. Queenie, too. But I think I kinda brute-forced her by ignoring everything about the fight except her. I didn't blow up any of the mushrooms or any of the spawning Gibdodos. I just laid in to her and kept wailing.
But F\*\*ktorok can get bent. I didn't *hate* him, I didn't struggle in the temple ... but damn did I not *like* that fight, nor did I respect that little shit.
Everyone complains about Muck, but it was easy af. Slow, but easy. Fuse opal to weapon and use Sidons power = Ezpz sludge killer. I didn’t even take damage.

Tip for those that hate Muktorock as much as me. Fuse a hydrant to a shield and it helps clear the muck super fast. Or even better homing cart with hydrant on top
If you want something a bit more efficient, I use a hydrant fused to a boomerang. Absolutely insane how effective this is.
That’s quite clever!
Fuse made boomerangs fucking amazing in this game, unironically. Frost emitters, shock emitters, flame emitters, hydrants. All amazing. Then you get Gleeok horns on them. Put a lightning Gleek horn on a giant boomerang, you won't wanna go back.
At this point, we're making batarangs in this bitch
Do Keese wings work on boomerangs?
Yep, elemental keese wings are my favorite fuse material for boomerangs.
Do the rangs go way farther when you throw them?
Yes they do
Yes but the increased range will pretty much just make it hit an object on its way back and fall to the ground
Who are you, who are so wise in the ways of science
Ways*
Comments like this remind me why I'm waaaaay too stupid to be playing this game.
Didn't someone work out that the drop rate improved if you use an edged weapon like a sword?
No that’s a myth. Drop rate is a static 25%, data miners have looked at the data
Boomerang+Lightning Gleeok Horn=Gloom Hands being your bitch
Thank you, stranger.
What's fun is giving a boomerang to a rock octorock. What is not fun is fusing a talos heart to a boomerang and it falling off a cliff on the rebound.
Or dragon horns, those work quite well too!
I hated the boomerangs so much in BOTW (probably unfairly) they just felt like a half baked afterthought & annoying to use. So I’m a tough sell but I’ll have to give it a shot
When you freeze a whole group of enemies with a boomerang and then bomb arrow them for that sweet bonus damage, you'll remember me.
Let me introduce you to homing hydrants!
Oooooooh shiiiit that would’ve helped so much
Another tip: fuse your best damaging material to a Zora sword. The entire battle is in water, so each hit does a TON of damage. Only had to catch Muktorock twice lol.
I just attached a bunch of hydrants to tires, stuck that on a hover stone, and just let it rip
Homing cart with a sideways big wheel on top and four hydrants on its tire = profit?
I thought Muktorock was easy -- beaten so quickly that I questioned if that was all there really was to the fight.
In the water temple he is easy if you come prepared. In the depths, he's a pain in the ass.
Solid! Thanks for the info.
Except the mucktorok… which makes choosing that battle again (and again) kinda insane (unless you love octo balloons, etc).
I was there for the battery juice stuff
Ya same, the entire water temple felt like a joke to me. Puzzles were super simple and boss was a cake walk. I struggled much much more with Fire temple.
If they make the water temple too hard people start having OoT flashbacks
But I wanted OoT flashbacks!!! Surprisingly enough, the Water Temple was actually easier on the Master Quest version.
I am still walking in circles from that temple.
Me too I think people actually tried to use Sidon's power to beat him. I shot him with splash fruit arrows. The whole thing was over in a minute, definitely my easiest fight.
This was what I did but even then, it was more annoying than hard
Refights in the Depths are harder because you are less prepped for him. In the Water Temple you likely have Zora weapons, likely have an Opal Rod, etc. But in a refight you very likely do NOT have a Zora weapon or an Opal Rod. So what was one of the easiest fights can turn into one of the hardest.
Why would you be less prepared? You have to choose to enter the boss arenas. If you don't want to fight them, just keep your distance.
Because I don't make it a habit of carrying around a Water Wand
I hadn't fought Mucktorock in the depths yet, but when I fought him in the water temple, the only water I remember using was from hydrants.
Just unfuse any weapon and opal it. There is no way you can have not a single opal on you.
That's why I hoard stuff though lol. I've been caught off guard too much by bosses in games that I just hoard anything I feel may be important later
I just drive a car at him that has a bunch of hydrants on it. When he falls over, I get off and start whooping him.
Man, I gotta make more use of homing carts. I got a few from the zonai machine and thought "Man, these are incredibly useful! Better save them for when I *really* need them!"
The temple is low gravity. Just jump and bullet time.
Even better use ultrahand on a hydrant and don’t let the shitfish move
i thought the Ghoma was the easiest. i personally liked the Construct fight the most. absolutely hated the Mucktorok fight lolol
Both in combat and what people create, sometimes I see videos online and it feels like they're playing a completely different game than I am.
Okay dude go check out r/Hyruleengineering. They have absolutely insane builds.
I've spent 10 seconds and already blown away. I'll be spending hours tonight searching through this. Thanks!
That sub is truly incredible while making me feel like a simpleton lol.
It has been a great inspiration for my builds. Awesome subreddit.
Lol yea, I just used an opal rod and shock arrows
I put a big wheel on a hover platform, then a hydrant on one side and a spike on the other with a second hydrant on the end of the spike. Raising it up above the middle of the arena covers most of the arena.
I played through this entire game with the sword and shield skill I got from BoTW fully aware that I was making things harder on myself by not leaning into the zonai devices. Loved it, glad I did it. Second playthrough, I'm going in a totally different direction. All engineering, all the time.
Once I remembered I can bring anything into depths fights he became so much easier
I feel like an idiot for not figuring this out and love this game that this is an option
I just put down a zonai fan or my hoverbike to get some air
Homing arrows worked fine, though.
I had to cheese it a little in the depths and switch to rocket shields. My 5 year old son was 1 hit away from beating him at the temple because of bullet time and low gravity. You’re absolutely correct.
We all encounter the game differently. My Mukto fight was done and over very quickly. I didn’t even bother with clearing the sludge.
I loved every Kohga battle
They were easy but that's fine because that's Kohga. A loveable idiot that you have to knock down a peg every once in a while.
Glory to Master Kohga.
He was probably my highlight of the depths
Technically, that would be the lightroots
He was THE highlight of the depths. Rest was uninteresting terrain and repeated boss fights.
The Hebra boss was easiest I don't think it damaged me once and it was dead instantly. Hebra boss was my favourite though because it was fun fighting it in the air and I love using bows in this game
Yes :) it was even more fun in the depths because it was slightly more challenging
Colgate for both. It was easy but super fun to beat by dive bombing it’s weak points.
Ah, yes. Toothpaste 😔😔
When I first fought him I had no idea about this, I just bomb-arrowed him 😂
Oh? I thought you just shoot it with arrows? Maybe that’s why it felt so easy/boring… i just fused bat wings to arrows and shot it with bullet time.
I didnt even know about the diving until I fought it in the Depths. When I faught it in the temple, I used bomb flower arrows and said to myself how would you even beat him if you ran out of arrows or bombs?
it was my first battle, so when I fought it I didn't have proper cold resistance, giving me the added challenge of slowly freezing to death
No shame.
I used to make my big brother defeat the hard baddies, now that job is my husbands lol. No shame!
Really? All it takes is arrows, shoot em with chu chu jelly and if they run away use eyes, took me about a minute to beat…
Folgers was my easiest and my favorite as well. It was so cool
That fight was easily the best part of waking up
My least favorite part of the fight was when it introduced sexual tension between my brother and I.
Oh god not *that ad*
Folgers??
Fuck riju in the gibdo fight. i didnt die, but i wanted to
I apparently did it wrong but didn't care. I had shock fruit and electric chu chu jelly, not wasting my time with Rijus lighting or, the apparently part, using a mirror to stun it once the hives were done with.
I too want to fuck riju
not here pal
Marble guy was barely an inconvenience
Wow wow wow wow, wow
How are you supposed to fight the construct without the sage? I fought it during the ganon fight and it took most of my bombs and weapons to beat it
It is a very similar fight to the final Master Kohga fight- use something big to swing him into the walls, which makes him vulnerable for a few moments. Repeat.
[удалено]
I just shoot it with shock fruit to stun it and then hit it with a claymore fused with a spring. It just needs to hit the fence and boom you win.
I threw lemons at it and hit it with whatever was lying around on the ground
[удалено]
The game with a sword that fires projectiles, giant box-shaped bosses that try to crush you, a sludge-spewing octopus controlling a laser-shooting shark, and a giant long flying monster that drops rare items.
Or Mario sunshine
I’ve only done wind and water temple, and then I’ve also found Muktorok in the depths again, and I can absolutely say I hate the muktorok fight. I find it tedious as all hell
They were all pretty fun. Not terribly hard though. I ended up fighting one of Colegra in the depths in complete darkness. That took a bit.
Eye arrows my dude.
I think I was out at the time.
I really hated the seized construct. It was very frustrating
Cannon > punch > repeat. Never seen a easier boss fight
Im a moron so i walked into it w like 5 hearts out of 20 and didnt have gloom resistant food
Easily easiest for me
How was it frustrating? It gives you a massive window to attack it. All you have to do is block, and while it's recoiling, you just hit it a bunch of times. That's the only strategy, it doesn't get more straight-forward than that
Totk is my favorite game of all time… but mucktorock might be my least favorite boss fight in any game. Alternatively, the Ganondorf fight is my favorite boss fight in any game
I just shot him with blue chuchu jelly.
Build a sprinkler system suspended from hover platforms. Make the place uninhabitable for the Mucktorok!
I liked muckto because it was my last fight, so when knocked out of the shark me and the 4 sages gathered around and kicked the ever loving shit out of it together Real bonding moment
Those are some of my favorite moments in the game. I finally feel like I have friends
Does Master Kohga not count?
Did you have eyes to attach?
All of the master kohga battles >>>>
Colgerra was probably my favourite (and easiest). It was my first boss, and getting to the temple was so much fun. Seized Construct is my least favourite because I hate how slow using the construct is. The fight is easy enough considering how formulaic it is, I just hate using the construct.
Colgerra has some fire music in the background too!
Do these guys respawn in the depths after you beat them? I haven’t fought them down there yet and want to try several strategies
After you beat them, they appear at arenas underground in gloom form. They're usually a little more challenging, I think.
What about the Gloom versions. If you beat those do they respawn after a Blood Moon?
Yes
TY!
I wish that they’ll make a seized construct rematch in the DLC because that was my favourite.
Muktorok is probably my favorite since its really goofy
Colgerra was easy and fun.
I loved colgerra because I love paragliding! Yes it was easy but jumping through its body and seeing the ice shatter is so satisfying lol. I also loved the Tulin story. I’ve done all the bosses except ganon, I’m trying to get all the lightroots before going after him
Ice Fire Water And the absolutely worst was Lightning
Muktorock was definitely easiest Colegera was the most fun Construct was the worst cause controlling that thing is so awkward and clunky
Muktorock, ruins an entire section of the continent, has a civilization on its knees, the champion needs the help of the hero to take down this terrible threat. Hydrant: 😏
Take my upvote
Alright this might be weird but.. Ganon. I put rockets on most of my shields and just flew up and shot him repeatedly with a 5x lynel bow and keese eyes. Made the fight extremely easy but also not fun at all
Colegra and the Marbled Ghoma were the easiest and most fun. All the rest were kinda difficult. I thought they were fun and I wouldn’t have changed a thing however.

Easiest for me would be the Goron boss because it was basically run around, fire off our drug kingpin buddy and reposition him to take out the legs.
After you fight the Seized COnstruct does it make you fight Gannon or can you leave?
You can leave.
Upon seeing Mucktorok the following sounds left my mouth:”Oh my god it’s so cuuuuuWHATTHESHIT?!” I both visually and emotionally enjoyed it. It also reminded me of Mario sunshine and that game always makes me happy. Ghoma was the easiest for me because I just kept taking out his legs the second he stood up. gibdo was imo hella easy i just had the great eagle bow and some bombs
the final ganon battle, which i did today. that was the fight of all fights tbh and it made me glad i waited to finish the game. but from these, honestly Seized Construct. Oh, the Ghoma? So easy, I beat it while knitting a sweater! But that Mucktorok... let's just say we're not on good terms. And the Construct? Pure boss-fight bliss!
wind temple, both ways
I hate the Moth
Bloody hell I’ve been playing this game since the start of winter and I haven’t seen three of those things yet.
....the game came out in May...did you hack the thing??
Nah it’s winter starting June in the Southern Hemisphere.
...my brain flat out forgot hemispheres... ( ・-・)
Haha I just beat up a whole bunch of silver bokoblin and the big one, I’m starting to get overpowered.
The ascend by jumping between all ships was really cool, the music and weather and mood changed and made a big impact on me. I was also high but still
For me the easiest was the marbled ghoma, most fun was probably the wind temple boss. The air battle and sheer size just made it feel so epic.
P.s. best game ever made. . . .
Mucktorok was the easiest by far I didn't even take damage the first time I fought it. Ganon was the best fight in my opinion.
Cool to see someone else saying this, cuz I also didn't have much of a problem with him despite what everyone else says, but I was also incredibly sleepy and can't remember how the fight went. I might have used rocket+shield to jump over mud puddles...
Chain wrestling was amazinf
They were all too easy and died in 3 seconds
The Wind boss fight was the coolest. The music, the set up, everything was great. The other three bosses were such a disappointment. The water temple was an embarrassment.
Master Kogha
Mucktorock was the easiest for me. I spammed Sidon's power and it was over almost instantly.
Everyone complains about Muck, but it was easy af. Slow, but easy. Fuse opal to weapon and use Sidons power = Ezpz sludge killer. I didn’t even take damage.

I think you might be in the wrong thread buddy

No problem for the long essay of what I think of the bossfights! 😊😊😊😊👍👍👍
