I ALWAYS roll with Yunobo! He was my first, he rarely gets in the way and he's super useful. I keep everyone else put away unless I need them but Yunobo is my BOY!

Tulin is the best! Such a cool personality, a little fearless guy, that at the same time can't do everything alone and is still growing up Yunobo comes right after, I'm pretty shocked whenever I find out that he doesn't get much love online 😂 just a funny guy that is willing to throw himself over rocks at anytime

For me Its either Mineru or Riju. I had a lot of fun completing their dungeons. So my ranking of the Sages. 1. Mineru or Riju (Building Mineru's Zonai “Mech” was fun and a nice change of pace to the other dungeons and Riju new character design and her story arc was great plus the defending Gerudo Town from Gibdos was cool.) 2. Tulin (I was expecting Teba but am not complaining.) 3. Sidon (My fish boy is Engaged lets go!!! #SidonxYona.) 4. Yunobo (I laugh so hard when I realize he was basically a meth lord.)

Abilities aside, Tulin kinda came out of nowhere and Yunibo felt like a different character compared to BotW. That leaves Riju and Sidon, both actually had a good story and built off BotW pretty well IMO. Now their temples… Sidon had a floating temple, and I don’t mean in water. It just didn’t make sense in my brain. Riju’s on the other hand, amazing temple quest that I had fun doing, a bit of tower defense, and an actual difficult temple (the only one I needed to look up help because they didn’t outright tell you what to do) the fight at the end of the temple had a few mechanics that took a bit getting used to, but over all Riju and her temple has got to be my favorite out of all of them Edit: spelling error and: I forget the mecha sage name, but they felt like they were just there for lore purposes, not because they actually wanted to have her as a sage ability, but the quest and depots were pretty fun to navigate

Riju is the coolest, with Sidon 2nd, Tulin 3rd, Mineru 4th, and Yunobo last.

I think Sidon and Riju. Sidon is good hearted and brave, and does his best to make his sister proud. I know all of the new sages carry the weapons of the champions before them, but seeing him carrying Mipha's lightscale spear was so sweet. Riju is mature beyond her years because of her mother's death, but she held her position well in BOTW. In TOTK, she grows more into her position as chief of the Gerudo and becomes a reliable leader who always does what's best for her citizens. She would make Lady Urbosa proud weilding The Scimitar of the Seven and Daybreaker and keeping The Gerudo safe.

Tulin, I love how excited he is to see Link in Tears of the Kingdom.

It has to be Mineru. No one understood their duty to their Kingdom better. She sacrificed her peace in the afterlife to lie dormant for TEN THOUSAND YEARS to be of use to link (a person she just has to assume would show up) in defeating Ganon as a mech. At least Zelda had the mind wipe in between. The other characters all have their strengths but she was a SAGE

I never use this sage, but I love Mineru. I love her wisdom and her original form/character design. It’s hard separating Tulin from his ability, but I love his charisma and slight over-enthusiasm when it comes to helping Link. Riju, let’s be honest, is just a total badass. And Sidon is about as wholesome as it gets. Yunobo…is always a little cumbersome and awkward to have around for me, since I rely heavily on stealth. His character is likeable, but my least favorite in the game.

It would've been tulin exclusively if he called his wind ability "TULINS TORNADO" but it gotta be a split between sidon and mineru.

The obvious answer is giga-chad Sidon...but Tulin is my buddy!! I REALLY enjoyed working alongside him for the Wind Temple.

I really like Tulin. He's like a positive version of Revali - supreme self-confidence, maybe even too much, but ***not*** at the expense on others. Tulin doesn't need to put anybody down to feel like the best, and is quick to thank and praise those who help him. Teba raised that boy right!

Gotta be Sidon because I can't choose any of the champions. I was far more attached to BOTW Champs than I ever will be to Sages. Tulin felt forced, they ruined Yunobo, Riju got better, I guess... but Sidon has his character traits down pat and feels fleshed out.

Mineru, to be one of the last Zonai we can talk to its interesting how them as a race were able to construct such devices and have abilities such as Mineru and Raru have had in the past. Though i’m curious to know how they lived and how their culture affected it.

It's still Tulin. I have a soft spot for Sidon, but I've always been a big fan of the rito. Medli, Kass, Revali, Teba... I was so thrilled when I saw he'd gotten bigger! He was just a lil guy in breath, and now he's almost as big as Link! Adopted little brother who's optimistic and a bit over-eager, but learns the importance of working together. And I guess that's the main thing, is that he undergoes a character arc, rather than building on preconceived notions of how we remember him in botw.

All three of the Sages who were in BotW, but Sidon and Riju are my favorites of those three. I just like seeing that they've undergone character development during the time skip, especially since I already liked them in their original outing, even if Yunobo was a little annoying in BotW.
