Total 1499kg, so we could still fit 2 seagulls more.
Due to shrinkflation, I reckon we could stick a few extra in there. Although I'm guessing this is based on the internal weight and doesn't take into account the package weight, which would shift it slightly. Let's see if we can test it out.
The lightest one of the previous generation weighted 1367 kg (sedan) with the weakest engine (gasoline). The heaviest a Hybrid and a Diesel weighted around 1770 kg (as station wagons).
New generation (released this year) is apparently heavier (but also 15 cm longer and no sedan option). The AWD ones aren’t out yet and neither are the hybrids - but as the FWD diesel engine is 1678kg already they will probably push towards 1850-1900 kg.
To help our American friends get a decent idea without having to convert to pounds: the weight limit is at around 1.5 regular Americans and 2 Americans on a diet.
