Yes! I use an Xbox controller when I play certain games. Apparently all I needed to do was update my controller with the Xbox accessory app. Now I don’t have it happen anymore
You sir are a blessing. This has been ruining my gaming sessions for the past 7 months and I could not figure out what it was. I tried everything to fix it. I thought it was my graphics driver, gpu/cpu, monitor, cables. I looked everywhere to fix it and couldn't find any solutions that actually worked. THANK YOU!!!!!

I have been STRUGGLING with this for a VERY LONG time. I started using my xbox controller with a USB-C Cable as I was frustrated by the batteries dying while in the middle of the race in Forza Horizon 5.
My screen would go black for a couple seconds and then minimize, and I would loose the race :(
Then it started happening in Elden Ring, but not as much.
I replace my GPU and monitors and it still started happening. I updated firmwares and software and it was still happening.
I would have NEVER thought it was my fucking xbox controller causing the issue.
