Mustard Service. I wouldn’t say they’re exactly like Her’s but I’m sure you’ll love their sound. I’d describe them as Her’s but like, sillier. They’re fantastic musicians and criminally underrated. I’d listen to C’est la Vie first if I were you.
If you’re into music in other languages I’d love to recommend Bandalos Chinos. Their vocalist also has a fantastic range and a lovingly sweet voice. Their sound is a lot softer than Mustard Service but I feel like they’re stylistically still similar to Her’s. If you were to listen to them I’d start with El Big Blue.
Tell me if you like any!!
Spotify randomly showed me The Dominoes by Mustard Service and even though it's not exactly something Her's would make, I still fell in love, great band!
Their newest stuff is definately not as solid as their first two albums in my opinion, but it’s still pretty groovy. Especially Bupkis. Mustard Service REALLY nails album closers.
I've been listening to Mustard Service for a while now... really like their sound but I wouldn't say it's the Her's vibe, more a of a jazzy cool kinda vibe which feels distant from the jangle that Ste and Audun were known for. Great band though!
Los Cronies sometimes sings in Spanish, saw them at the Mercury Café in Denver back in February and they really bring to life that feel that Ste and Audun had on stage I think, but they do have their differences, mainly the fact that its a 4 piece and they use real drums. They specifically played Harvey by Her's and it was a great moment. Very funny, weird guys... I'll check out Bandalos Chinos.
Los Retros is also pretty cool, I think they follow something similar.
The Brook and the Bluff, same like the other commenter, while not exactly like Her's, they have in their own right unique tones, by far one of the most underrated bands imo, if I were to compare a similar sounding tone with one of their songs, it's called "Everything is just a mess" by them, similar melancholic-ish vibe from "You don't know this guy", not exact but it's there.
The Gardeners!!!! They don’t have a lot of music out yet but they’re very Her’s-inspired. I actually went to see them live a couple of weeks ago and they covered What Once Was 🥲

Damn you beat me to it, I've always thought that Pleasantries (with your lover) sounded similar to Her's style.

I love Los Retros. From what I understand it’s only one guy tho. Will check out Los Cronies.

They don’t sound the same but I’m sure you’ll love the smiths, Stephen has a similar guitar style to Johnny marr
Classic!!!
