Yeah, I'm with you on that. The mad skill events are aggravating. I hate them as well. But I want the 350Z Ultimate, so I forced myself to complete them. I missed the Black Knight Lancer too. I definitely want that car.
I want it but not at the cost of my sanity. I'd have to farm for the scorbreaker sets for those 2 parts and I don't have the patience to do that rn. farming aerobatics itself sucks.
It does take a long while to get legendary aerobatic upgrades. I don't have a full set of anything for my aero planes. I just put skill points in all my plane related skills, and hope for the best.
I know your pain. I hated that activity. I finally was able to get past it. In case you ever attempt it again, or if you haven't tried this plane, yet, try the Zivko Edge 540. Its fast and very agile. Thats how I was finally able to get past it.
Use a stunt plane and just fly by using the bumpers mostly, if you're struggling with turns then change your camera, one of them angles it where you're going to be heading once your plane straightens out, which could possibly help a lot
I am super hot and cold on the mad skills. Some of them (mostly off-road) are pretty easy for me and I’m good at them. Then there are the ones like this one, the one in Chicago with the line, and the drift one in the waterpark, that I can’t even seem to finish

The entire mad update was just a "ha ha ha skill issue" from Ubisoft. I'm ranked in the top fifty of every mad skill except for fly and smash.
Go really slow and use the plane wing to hit the things. Extreme mode lets you move faster with a plane
