This rules, man!! So many deep cuts! Including some songs I barely know...I can't remember the last time I listened to The Bloodboat. Good job on the fan service.
I have a list of words that have appeared in TMBG lyrics, which was pulled from [TMBW.net](http://TMBW.net) by a programmer named David Mackenzie for a data visualization project, and which I adapted to be compatible with my crossword construction software. Once I generated a grid that I liked, I had to go into TMBW and find the actual quotes each word is from (and for common words, decide which song to pick, trying to find the right balance between the hits and more obscure stuff, and also trying to use quotes where the entry might be guessable even without knowing the song). At this point I found I had to go back and edit the grid some more. For instance, there was one word in my original grid that has only appeared in "On Earth My Nina", which is basically word salad so the entry might not be solvable even with most letters filled in. I also sent the puzzle to a friend who is an experienced crossword solver but not a big TMBG fan to make sure it could be solved by someone not familiar with their music.
I also originally had more cross-referenced pairs of entries - for instance, I clued both >!ORGAN!< at the top and >!LOT!< at the bottom with the same quote from >!A Self Called Nowhere!< before I realized I was just making the solver jump around the grid arbitrarily with no fun payoff. So I only kept the cross-references where the two entries were close by each other or more related thematically (e.g. >!WEST!< and >!EAST!<).

Really glad you enjoyed it, thanks!
How long did it take you to make? And I'm guessing you had to do some research on TMBW to find what songs had certain words in them?

Wow, nice

Well done!
That was great! Got it with just one letter wrong. Also thought i dove deep enough into They but this proved otherwise
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks!
Thank you! Just makes me realize how many songs I don't know and how impossible TMBG lyrics are to guess if you don't know them!
