This is honestly the coolest thing that has happened in this city in like a generation. I'm so stoked about it and can't wait to check it out when it's all open and before the encampments inevitably move in.
Why would they? It's too far from most services and there are tons of parks that are encampment free. There's already tons of vacant land in the Port Lands that they could have staked out places already.
There is already a bunch spread out from Cherry park and in the forest running east. Some near the water and some hidden in the forest.
So there will be definitely be a few at least setting up shop down there 🤷
