One will mournfully wail when she thinks she's alone. The other chirps a bit and will answer back with a short meow when you're talking to her. They have nothing on my last cat who was a Siamese mix, that girl howled and yallowed at impressive volumes.
Mine hums rather than meows (like the Skeksis in “The Dark Crystal”). But yes, she talks all the time, especially when she wants a scratch.

Yes she talks a lot ! She’s been a talker since she was little. Sometimes if you don’t come to her quickly when she’s in a different room the meows sounds like she’s dying but we’ve come to realize that she’s never in distress lol.

She sounds just like a peacock. She is a chatty Kathy with us and her brothers (calls them to play tag/chase - we thought she was distressed when she first started doing it lol). I had never seen a cat full on meow for other cats, but there is no mistaking what she is doing anymore. It’s the cutest.
Gracie is actually pretty quiet most of the time unless you're in the bathroom and she's on the other side of the door. Then she's meowing up a storm. I guess she's just worried one of us will fall in 😁

My Tortie lived to a few weeks shy of 20, and would make noise three or four times a year. The quietest cat I've ever had. She was NOT low on tortitude, though!
I have one that is vocal when she wants something and is being saucy, then the other is super talkative all the time. If you say her name and then continue saying anything, she seems to respond each time. It still makes me smile to this day, even after hearing it every day.
Yes, Cecilia talks to me quite a lot. Mostly to announce her presence when she jumps up on the bed. But sometimes because she wants me to follow her (whereupon she leads me to her food or water dish\* to show me how sad and empty they are).
\*she also has a fountain -- there is no danger of her running out of water

No, my little tortico is not quite the talker, as her tuxedo brother is. She'll meow, a few times a day, but that's all. She also purrs more during the colder months of the year, than she does during the warm part of the season. Both her and her brother are rescues, whom I've had now, for five years as of this coming July. I love them both, very dearly.

I’m at home today, trying to take a nap this afternoon and Cruella is on the edge of my bed yelling at me. And if I don’t say what’sa wrong with my baby? She gets louder and louder.
I have two and between the two of them I rarely get a moment when I’m not working where one of them isn’t talking to me. On top of a talkative void. It’s a very meow meow household.

My SIC on the other hand never shuts up.
Yes. All the time. I don't mind it but my BIL who lives next door has a dog that was rescued from the streets and apparently has a life long beef with cats (he's about the same size as medium to large sized cat) and loses his mind every time he hears her.
It's an unfortunate set of circumstances because neither of us will back down. She's just living her best life and he needs therapy.

my girl winnie is very VERY talkative. this is a picture of her yawning because i have no pictures of her talking at me haha. im currently in Europe staying with a friend for two more weeks and i miss her so much every day. no matter how much my mom sends pictures of her it never makes me miss her any less😭. im having an amazing time here but i miss my fur babies so much🥹
Yep, our girl is very vocal. Good thing too because that's how she came to live with us. She was meowing at our door on New Year's Eve night, so I let her in (it was cold and people were setting off fireworks, so I felt bad for her). She pretty much adopted us as her new servants after that.

Yep, our girl is very vocal. Good thing too because that's how she came to live with us. She was meowing at our door on New Year's Eve night, so I let her in (it was cold and people were setting off fireworks, so I felt bad for her). She pretty much adopted us as her new servants after that.
