I was playing an ogre campaign (SFO modded) yesterday and this god damn menace stopped me leaving to go east from the border prince regions for 65 turns before I finally wiped them out.
My poor gnoblars must feel like Vietnam vets in the woods now.
You can get them to 20% ward, something like 40% physical and 35% missile resist. And 20% fire resist with Durthu leading.
Trees don't give a shit about missile damage.
That's not a research, it's an office effect on the Sisters of Twilight (Lifesinger).
There's a research for 25% fire resist in the amber techs to remove the built in weakness and Durthu gives 20% more from his skill tree.

In my last nuln campaign this guy was "friendly" towards me, but caped my settlements and occupied them every time after belakor razed them, he stole 4 settlements!!! 2 from me and 2 from ai, it was hard campaign don't judge me.
