I kept one thing from before I knew I was trans: A vest. It has one inside pocket the perfect size for my phone, and two on the outside that hold my gloves, keys, rings, change, and earbuds
I love this vest even though it doesn't go with anything I own
Function over form. Vest has pockets, flannel pajama pants have pockets and softness and cover legs, t-shirt covers lack of boobs, and jacket covers arms without being too tight on them
That's my basic outfit year-round, regardless of weather.
You are in fact right. Makes sense but either way it's a trade off. You can have women's that are really skinny and have become pretty comfy and stretchy so you can move but have no real functional pockets or you can have mens which have good pockets and a slightly different body type in mind but aren't as skinny and don't stretch and move as easy.
I’ve found that women’s jeans tend to sell softer fabric blends, so it’s a bit of a trade off. Men’s jeans have pockets, but they tend to be a bit more canvasy from my experience if that makes sense.
But men’s jeans tend to show the bulge more, because they are designed to fit it. Women’s hide it more because they are designed with dickless people in mind but that can be a bit more uncomfortable if not tucking.
So either way you compromise something.
I actually have a skirt that has pockets deep enough to fit my phone with plenty of room to spare. And it's a mini skirt as well. What I'm saying is skirt manufacturers have no excuse
I can’t imagine how annoying that is! I’d suggest wearing some men’s pants but I understand that may make you dysphoric. I’m transmasc and I’d love to wear more femme clothing but wearing clothes that are made for a different body type is a pain. Us trans folks should make an anti-gender clothing store or something, where everybody has pockets AND clothes they’re comfortable in!
The first dress i got had pockets that can hold around 2-4 puppies, i was so excited. Then i buy another dress, no pockets, another one, no pockets... another one... yeah you get the point 😓
I'm fine with that change. My 2 most valuable things already fall out of my pockets (my phone and wallet) so I'm looking forward to being able to get a purse
The way this meme screams OT (One Topic at a Time) 🤣 love it. Also, ladies, I'm sorry for your loss. 😔 *shakes fist at ladies wear manufacturers* THEY NEED POCKETS
I refuse. I will hold onto my pockets until the day I die. Jackets, trousers and skirts can all have pockets. And I HAVE gained a purse.
See, glass all the way full.
As an ftm raised by two generations of “I will carry an entire convenience store in my handbag” women, I am having the opposite problem and trying to figure out how men survive with *just* pockets. (Don’t get me wrong though - pockets a smartphone can actually fit into without falling out when you bend over? GODDAMN)
Ngl i mostly keep wearing mens pants. Either that or like baggy womens pants those always seem to have the biggest pockets and kinda help to give me a bit more shape

Now how about oversized hoodies
Not for me, they feel kinda claustrophobic and give me anxiety
If wearing "men's" clothes doesn't make you dysphorics try mens skinny jeans! They can look very feminine and still have functional pockets

I wish, I miss how my old skinny jeans fit. I didn’t get much up top in the way of breasts but I have more hip to waist ratio than my Cis-wife.
*revs sewing machine like a chainsaw* Let's add some pockets to things!
Add pockets to everything!!! 💜🪡
*Pockets* with pockets!
And then add pockets to those pockets
What if I make a tiny pocket, and turn it inside-out so it contains the entire observable universe
Hell yeah, fitting all of reality into my pockets
I actually have a skirt that has pockets deep enough to fit my phone with plenty of room to spare. And it's a mini skirt as well. What I'm saying is skirt manufacturers have no excuse

Currently at a party sticking my phone and tobacco between my skirt and hips praying to all gods I don't lose them, can confirm
Sacrificed pockets, acquired bags. Not even mad.
Of all the things that I lost after transtition, pockets has to be the last on the list that bothered me.
make your own pockets
And respect in a lot of environments
You transitioned despite the loss of pocket I get gender euphoria specifically from having useless pockets *we are not the same*

One bonus for me? I've been keeping my phone in my back pocket, and when I take it out I get to touch my butt 😌
Woman you can still wear jeans!!!!
I put on women's pants the other day after not having worn them in years, and I was like, how do you all live like this? How did *I* live like this!?

What they don’t know is we learn the secret technique of using our bra as a pocket. Adapting to our environment 😎

When u doing fashion by yourself, u can build number of pockets, that u can imagine)) so, now I enjoy my favorite mess in my pockets))
My battle jacket has enormous pockets, so i can wear tight pants / womens pants
