Swoop and scoop lets me fit my B cup bras properly, I don't fit Ds, I *have* tried! Too much space at the top of the cup, my nipple just about touches the inside of the cup. My breasts haven't finished developing yet and I can see maybe reaching a D with progesterone but right now they don't have the bulk to fit well.

Don't see anybody saying it so I will: A lot of that is just the ribcage being larger than the average woman's, so it makes it sound way larger than it actually is.
My condolences to girl about a week ago in here who measured herself as a D cup but when she got a D-size bra the cups were way to large for her ;-;

Like, in VS sizes I'm a B cup but in higher end brands I'm a D. My boobs aren't the stereotypical huge D cup you hear about though. My boobs can be mostly compressed by wearing a snug sports bra.
US women's clothing sizes don't make sense in general, but bras really take the cake. When you find one that fits, buy as many as you can of that model

That calculator measured me to 80D. I wear 85B and honestly 85A is probably a better fit, but I hope one day I will fill out my 85B bras completely...
