Btw guys, VR and social VR technology is admittedly still in its early days, yet even so, what is currently available is quite amazing. VR technology gives you near total control over your visual sense, the ability to practice dangerous, expensive, or impossible things to your heart's content, track your body and study biomechanics, and hack your self-image and body schemas. And then there's the social aspect! The feeling of presence and actually being in the same space with other people is unmatched. Zoom calls don't even compare.
I think transhumanists who are not yet into VR will enjoy it a lot. So please consider it!
Any possibility of varying the day or time on these? Say swapping it between the Friday and the Saturday each time, in order to accommodate people in different time zones?
Yeah this is something we really want to do. Especially for accommodating people in European time zones. Swapping is a possibility. Still not sure how we will implement that.
