Never considered myself a Swifty either. I only have five of her albums and they’re her OG albums and the last one I got was 1989 which for me she has never topped. And even with that I was never obsessed with her. I had other artists that I listen to. Was more of a Rascal Flatts fan than a Taylor Swift, fan. I never had a desire to see her in concert and I didn’t care about her love life or anything like that. I still don’t care about her love life into the Swifties that say that you have to know her Lord to understand her music that’s not a flex and that doesn’t show that she’s talented. That just shows she goes through a lot of men. She’s not a good singer either. She’s OK, but there are way better singers out there. She’s pitchy and sometimes shrilled with her high notes and that often makes her unbearable to listen to. She does a lot of that on TTPD. She’s not a gifted lyricist and is extremely immature. She’s 34 I’m 30 and I’m way more mature than she is. And don’t even get me started on all the other stuff.
I think TTPD was what broke me. It’s not good, it’s half assed, and she’s trying waaayy to hard to be clever and angsty with her lyricism, and the lyrics are clunky and overly complicated . I wish she would’ve just made one 12 song good album than 22 half concepts of songs. Same, I loved her music since I was little but her public presence has always annoyed me. She only “cares” about causes for the publicity. She isn’t very nice to up and coming female artists. And her lyrics have been declining in quality since folklore and evermore. I stopped listening to her as much because I had a manic episode lasting half a year in which I was OBSESSED with her songs and thought they contained secret messages and signs for me. I was genuinely unwell and after getting stabilized I no longer thought Taylor Swift could read my thoughts. Her music kept me sad and destructively hopeful about a romantic situation I was in at the time.
I think it’s okay to fall out of love with artists, but still like their music and occasionally enjoy some releases but we really need to stop all this celebrity worship and giving them so much money when they already are incredibly wealthy, I still listen to Taylor’s music but I’m no longer a diehard Swiftie and I don’t even want anyone to call me a fan.
I stoped being one ever since she came to perform in my country and a girl DIED at her concert and she has the audacity to lie that she died before without any reason, like if you cared about your fans the bare minimum is to acknowledge the security and logistic staff failed to provide adequate conditions for the concertgoers, pay the victims family for the funeral costs, and not post a instagram story saying RIP that sucks :( then quickly delete it and pretend like nothing happened because it would be “bad press.”. I don’t know Taylor the person but Taylor the business is fucking psychotic, and as much as I loved her growing up she’s no longer relatable and has become just another greedy billionaire with no empathy for people outside of her own circle.
OMG yes this was so horrible. What made me mad is she cancelled a concert a night or two before because of "rain and the safety of her fans." While conveniently Travis had landed yet didn't cancel or reschedule for the extreme heat. Like what about the safety of your fans???
On her second day of concert in Rio, she canceled it just hours before the concert would have started when loads of fans were already at the venue. Fans that faced extreme heat and discomfort for nothing. She overall treated her Brazilian fans like sh*t.

I'm not sure about this case specifically. In other cases in the past, I heard it's not a full refund. That they keep the "convenience fee".
Even if they did get a full refund for the ticket, what about hotel stays and transportation?

I am not a TS fan. Never really liked her music but have to admit it is catchy. I guess when you hear it played non stop on the radio helps. I have never seen her in concert but did watch a few short takes of her on stage during different stops in the Eras Tour. You can clearly tell she is lip synching or singing only a few words and letting the dubbed music and background singers fill in the rest. I was actually really shocked to be honest. The one thing I did give her props for was how hard it must be to sing for 3hrs a night on stage for months at a time. Well ha.. I guess she does have to at least "perform" on stage for 3hrs. Some of it singing and attempting to "dance".
And when she is singing, she’s using a hell of a lot of live auto tune. I’ve noticed it in videos from the tour, and I’m surprised I haven’t heard more people mention it, because it’s not subtle.

You and me both. My first concert was the fearless tour in 2009, so “I did my time”. Went to eras twice last year because a friend and I both received a code. Started getting tired of her around 1989 (Taylor’s Version) release. All the vinyls, the merch (a fucking $75 umbrella when people can’t afford food 🙄) the annoying AF big swifties on TikTok. It’s all doing too much. Hate her new album so much, there’s only one banger imo. For a girl who was afraid to be overexposed in her OG 1989 era she sure is living that fear and not realizing

Taking my daughter to a TS concert was a bucket list item and I did it! Now it’s time to move on to more deserving artists. Taylor could have very cleverly made that jab in a non obvious way but instead we have this.
My ABSOLUTE, WORLD ENDING, last straw was even the idea that TS would block Billie Eilish. I often tell people that everything I know about Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, and Drake have all been against my will and without my consent. Throughout all of that, I became a Taylor Swift fan but NOT a Swiftie. Using your Disney adult example, I’m local to Orlando and have an annual pass but there’s a difference between being an adult who likes Disney versus a Disney adult. The only Disney thing I own is the pass and nothing else.
Either way, I went from the Taylor Swift sub to the neutral one because I was becoming disillusioned with her. Was it over exposure? Was it the Swifties? I have no idea but then I found myself in this sub.

I stopped listening to her as much because I had a manic episode lasting half a year in which I was OBSESSED with her songs and thought they contained secret messages and signs for me. I was genuinely unwell and after getting stabilized I no longer thought Taylor Swift could read my thoughts. I think it’s okay to fall out of love with artists, but still like their music and occasionally enjoy some releases but we really need to stop all this celebrity worship and giving them so much money when they already are incredibly wealthy, I still listen to Taylor’s music but I’m no longer a diehard Swiftie and I don’t even want anyone to call me a fan. I stoped being one ever since she came to perform in my country and a girl DIED at her concert and she has the audacity to lie that she died before without any reason, like if you cared about your fans the bare minimum is to acknowledge the security and logistic staff failed to provide adequate conditions for the concertgoers, pay the victims family for the funeral costs, and not post a instagram story saying RIP that sucks :( then quickly delete it and pretend like nothing happened because it would be “bad press.”. I don’t know Taylor the person but Taylor the business is fucking psychotic, and as much as I loved her growing up she’s no longer relatable and has become just another greedy billionaire with no empathy for people outside of her own circle.

OMG yes this was so horrible. What made me mad is she cancelled a concert a night or two before because of "rain and the safety of her fans." While conveniently Travis had landed yet didn't cancel or reschedule for the extreme heat. Like what about the safety of your fans???
On her second day of concert in Rio, she canceled it just hours before the concert would have started when loads of fans were already at the venue. Fans that faced extreme heat and discomfort for nothing. She overall treated her Brazilian fans like sh*t. Brazil will never forgive Taylor Swift.

I'm not sure about this case specifically. In other cases in the past, I heard it's not a full refund. That they keep the "convenience fee". Even if they did get a full refund for the ticket, what about hotel stays and transportation? They could have canceled a few hours before at least so people could save the time and money with transportation. Some lunatic fans defend her saying it's all up to the venue. I am not a TS fan. Never really liked her music but have to admit it is catchy. I guess when you hear it played non stop on the radio helps. I have never seen her in concert but did watch a few short takes of her on stage during different stops in the Eras Tour. You can clearly tell she is lip synching or singing only a few words and letting the dubbed music and background singers fill in the rest. I was actually really shocked to be honest. The one thing I did give her props for was how hard it must be to sing for 3hrs a night on stage for months at a time. Well ha.. I guess she does have to at least "perform" on stage for 3hrs. Some of it singing and attempting to "dance".
And when she is singing, she’s using a hell of a lot of live auto tune. I’ve noticed it in videos from the tour, and I’m surprised I haven’t heard more people mention it, because it’s not subtle.

Then TTPD came out and it is all in all tired, too wordy, just not good. Then she called out Kim K in a public way and I have a personal ethical dilemma when minors are brought into this kinda thing. I don’t care who her parents are or how rich she is, North being made fun of in school over this as a teen could be very damaging. Taylor could have very cleverly made that jab in a non obvious way but instead we have this. My ABSOLUTE, WORLD ENDING, last straw was even the idea that TS would block Billie Eilish. I’m now becoming aware that this is not a new thing for Taylor- I was never big enough fans of any of the artists involved prior to pay attention. But Billie? Billie is my fuckin GIRL and I will ride at dawn for her. The idea makes me SEETHE. Taylor wasn’t wrong about being a monster on the hill. But no one is being mean to her. She’s just a troll.
