I would feel bad for her except this is all kinda her fault. She’s the one who has an unquenchable thirst for staying relevant/in the public eye/#1 on the charts. She’s the one who booked a 40-year tour. She’s the one who publicizes every romance she’s ever had (except Joe, but I think that was him more than her). She has to make everything a spectacle. Of course no normal, non-fame-hungry man wants that.
She’s also always encouraged her fan base to dig into her personal life and fight her battles for her. And now she’s shocked that boyfriends respond badly to their onslaught of death threats or harassment over marriage?
She needs to retreat from the public eye but I don’t know if she will. She is too addicted to fame. You cannot have this level of fame and notoriety and expect to have a functioning and genuine romance. There isn’t even really room for anyone else! She has to choose, and I think she’s going to continue choosing this whole crying about the men who are so mean for not wanting to be part of the shitshow. So…??? I dunno man.

So we’re blaming the over exposure of the showmance with Travis entirely on him when she is clearly fully complicit and probably played a bigger hand in turning it into what it is than he did? She gets just as much out of it as he does. When she is the one who went out of her way to make herself front and center visible at every game she could attend in the middle of a world tour for no other reason but attention? Come on. She had 3 serious relationships in 3 or 4 months last year. She doesn't deserve to get married just to be married and her exes shouldn't have to put their lives on hold. It's not like she respectfully waited to go public with how in "love" with Travis she is.
