This is a mood. I have resorted to buying disposables because then I am stuck with the heat setting and I can only use the little amount in my cart. Plus it costs less. This last one I got was only .3g. A couple years ago, I would use one of those in a single sitting. I’m trying to quit because it’s negatively affecting my life, but I used to be in zombie mode constantly, and I didn’t even feel good because I made myself paranoid all the time and used more weed as a way of ridding myself of that negative feeling, which made it worse anyway, lol. I think rosin pens aren't worth it to most people due to the huge price increase, imo 100% live resin is the way to go in cartridges, but the bar is so low tbh and most of the hardware for the cartridges is so cheap, and if you do buy a nice ceramic/glass one it'll be expensive while still not nearly as good or price efficent as just getting a cheap e rig like the core 2.1 and just getting pucks of rosin. On top of that I do feel kinda shitty throwing so many more batteries in the garbage than I would without them.

Yeah that sucks dude there's so much scummy shit going on in the legal market I implore everyone to make steps towards growing their own if you care about the quality of weed at all as you can easily learn everything you need to know from YouTube videos and reddit alone. If you smoke often itll pay for itself pretty fast, especially if you can grow auto flower seeds outdoors it's a very low investment and fairly easy to do
At the moment legal cultivators are all about yield and thc% over everything, leading to usually harvesting early often on a set schedule with a one size fits all approach to all the different strains, leading to a lot of nice genetics being phased out as they don't work as well with that approach. On top of that curing not working very well on a large scale, and how easy it is for all of the plants to get infected with something makes the bar very low
I've definitely seen brands putting a little bit of live resin in a distillate pen and calling it live, same with a lot of the resin/rosin gummies you'll see. I've even seen the wording seemingly be purposefully confusing to mislead people into paying live resin prices for botanical terps and distillate
The silver lining is that most legal states have decent competition, good weed will sell itself, and if you research the reliable cultivators/brands in your state or area you should be able to find something decent (but a lot of people dont know what they're talking about and purchase garbage thinking it's good so be careful)
Distillate didn't do shit. One of our local dispensary vendors has an add, friends don't let friends smoke distillate on there vape cart labels. High quality live rosin is a game changer.
I’m honestly not 100% sure, so I hope someone that actually knows this stuff will answer but here’s what I know:
distillate is extracted with very high temps, so you lose most of the terpenes, and are left with high thc concentration
Live resin is literally taking nugs and compressing them, with heat applied, lower temps than distillate
So you’re just left with straight nug juice that has high % terpenes and is overall way stronger than distillate
I don’t know the difference between live resin and rosin, but I pick up both from a few brands since they get me baked off of a 3 second hit
Rosin is the pressed solventless concentrate, generally more expensive but preferred by most due to being "cleaner". Resin is stripped off the plant material with something like a closed carbon dioxide system. There are some concerns depending on how it's done about any leftover contaminants but if you stick with quality live resin you shouldn't run into that. It's mainly just a bad old rep from people blasting butane tubes in their bathroom. Live means the plant material was frozen quickly after harvest before later being processed.

Not completely but I bought a dry herb vape and now I realize how awful carts are horrible on the lungs and for someone like me who has an addictive behavior they’re disastrous to my tolerance cuz I just want to hit every 2 seconds
Yup. I smoked carts for a few months and was coughing daily. Switched to a dry herb vape and smoke 2-3x a day with no cough and a lower tolerance overall. It’s a little more expensive but so worth it.
Carts are still great for instant, discreet consumption tho
They have a purpose but they are waaay to convenient haha my only complaint with my dry herb vape is sometimes the particles of the dry herb get in my throat and make my throat hurt the next day but even then unlike conventional smoking or carts it goes away with water dry herb vaping may not be as fun and I do miss rolling but it’s the best option overall imho
I prefer carts, too, but I only smoke at night before I go to bed. The insomnia struggle is real. I take other meds to go to sleep, but the carts actually help me go to sleep and the other meds keep me asleep. Took a good 5 years to find that perfect combo.
thats just how dabs are in general for me, carts are a sharp high that lasts maybe a couple minutes before dwindling out which is why i generally use mine to sleep because i can just get astronomical to fall asleep but if i chooch it throughout the day I start going through the entire cart without noticing. same with the dab rig but it lasts alot longer. and finally bud is a way more mellow nice high that lasts a few hours depending on how many bowls i indulge in. Whats it like for you? Im curious because most people i talk to say the penjamin doesnt get them high for long

Always still gets me after a decade+ of daily use how truly differently weed in different forms can affect people. I’d always rather just dab rosin, but a good rosin cart will hit me harder than multiple rips of even great bud, and it comes with the benefit of not requiring a shower + brushing my teeth to get rid of the taste and smell for the next hour

A lot of vendors also use the wrong voltage models and will burn things pretty hot. The right device with the right product makes it a smooth experience. This is my job, and yes it's fun lol

At about a decade+ of daily smoking here and all the extra burning plant matter from bud plus having to hit it way more to get the same effect gets me congested and feeling like my lungs are coated. I do it anyway lol, but being able to take a few good dab hits beats tearing through a whole bong bowl any day for me in terms of the effect it feels like it has on my lungs vs the high

I smoked a bong for about 15 years to the point where I didn't know what it was like to be sober. Sometimes it'd be okay but half the time I'd have terrible anxiety and just wish I wasn't stoned.. but then I'd get sober and feel like shit so I smoked again.
I switched to joints and lost my tolerance, and ended up having the same issue- I'd smoke half a joint, be uncomfortably stoned for 2-3 hours and then be tired and feel shitty.
With carts I can take small puffs, there's no afterglow or "hangover", I don't need to go outside every time I want to smoke. I also enjoy the fact that I can be high for 30 minutes and then be back to stone cold sober while still feeling alert and awake. Plus I only go through a 1g cart every 2 weeks instead of a half ounce every 2 weeks. Much cheaper.

Eh, they work for me. I swear there's anti-cart posts everyday on here. I hit mine a few times after work and that gets me good til bed, and it lasts me like a month all for $30-$40. Some people just need to take a break or chill out on how much/often they're smoking. If you're getting high as soon as you wake up for work everyday, maybe it's not the way you're getting high thats the problem 🤷♂️
I don’t typically buy them but i will use them if i pick them up from a dispo myself or my friends have one from a dispo. Theyre too expensive to be worth having all the time, just useful for when you know smoking bud or dabs isnt going to be convenient.

Please for the love of god try a live resin cart. Make sure the back of the box has a lab test showing it has cbd. Some cart brands have been getting away with advertising carts with added cdt as live resin/live resin infused carts.
Also it reeks like nonsmoked flower. Especially the vapor. I got caught with it a lot when i used to live with my parents since I avoided distillate.
I agree, just picked up a rosin cart as well as a live resin and man that hit felt almost similar to a joint. Loved it. And you’re right about the distillate with terps. I’ve had a few “live resin” carts and it’s just distillate with live terps. But a real one blows distillate out of the water.
I wish I liked them but they just don’t work on me anymore. I used to carry one around everywhere and dip into a restroom somewhere, and even that doesn’t do anything for me. I smoke daily these days and take edibles throughout, so I think carts have lost their effectiveness on me. I’ll put it this way, when I go to the movies and sneak off to take a pull in the bathroom, I’m straight by the time I make it back to my seat, and it sucks.
I am kind of scared that’s where I’m at with it too. Which sucks because I have a very thin line between “I’m high and feel like I’m on top of the world” and “I’m pretty sure this weed is killing me.” When my tolerance seems to tick up a bit, I usually err on the side of caution and just end up not getting high at all.
Canada has a very regulated legal market.

I can take any weed things anymore because of my job, but I've never really cared for carts. If I manage to hit it enough to get more than a buzz it always goes away fast.
I got a pen from a friend who's dealer got it from I believe California and it was actually really good. It wasn't super harsh didn't take a lot to get me high and actually lasted almost as long as smoking bud. I think the brand was Turn or Flip.
I just googled it and it's Turn, Id say give it a shot, I liked the one I had quite a bit and a couple of my friends that got one really liked them. It was the last pen I had before I had to quit which was also my first one of those.. big sad lmao
Edit: Also, with pens and carts I always had problems with the clogging but the Turn I had didn't clog once and neither did the ones my friends had.
I love carts but im also way way way into cannabinoids overall, know the right vendors, know where, legality, etc. If youre just trying to like, get a random cart, id say you cant. Not because theyre bad but because theres so much funky shit of whats legit, whats not, whats healthy, whats not.

I won't refuse carts if someone offers me a hit off one, but I'll never buy one myself. I live in an illegal state so I never really know whats in the carts. I have a solid thc-a dispensary near my place with great bud, so it doesn't make sense to get anything else. Seems like a lot of people are cool smoking those $20 gas station carts and that shit seems so sketchy to me.
I don’t refuse because I think there are times when they’re more practical to use. But I can’t switch over to using them full time. They give me a headache and I agree, the high I get from smoking bud is a lot better.
Dabs and carts have actually put me in the hospital. I was born with a small hole in my throat/ sinus and concentrates really bothers it but weed does not so I refuse to ever smoke them again even after corrective surgery. Maybe I’ll try Rosin one day.

Live rosin (just heat and pressure generally, you can’t get all the forms of concentrate like you can with resin and I feel I usually have to turn up temps on my battery since rosin seems thicker and more likely to clog
Live resin (hydrocarbon extraction usually with co^2, I don’t think they’re as likely to clog in a cart and while some brands have great resin carts rosin is flavor country for me
Distillate (processed at higher temperatures than resin usually with ethanol, most people refer to these as hot dog water carts because it’s kind of the bottom of the barrel tbh. Some brands make an okay distillate pen or disposable but I refer to these as the kind of vape you hand to a friend that doesn’t really smoke or likes those elfbar pens or something along those lines)
I have no idea why but carts make me cough like hell compared to flower. Legit carts in a legal state, no idea why they tickle my lungs in a way flower doesn't.
I basically reserve them for sneaking tokes when I’m places I can’t smoke or on a trip. Even then I try to get exclusively live resin.

Flower is so much better than carts but I do use them. Because I don't smoke in the house I keep them on the night stand, next to the bed.

I try to moderate - a 1g cart lasts about 4-6 weeks and 7g of flower lasts about the same. Everything is so strong compared to 20 years ago. I can't smoke eery day. I usually just want to sleep otherwise. :l

I will only consume dispensary grade carts. I don't prefer them, but as a medical patient I try to make sure I keep 1-2 different carts in use at all times because they typically serve a purpose very well. They are great for almost any situation where you need to medicate but require discretion or stealth. It's quick and much less hassle than rolling joints, packing a bowl etc, so if you need to be fast it's great as well.
I prefer live resin carts, it's closer to taking an actual dab but I use distillate pretty often also, which on it's own is not very good and kinda feels flat and bland, but mixed with flower it can really reduce the amount of weed I need per sesh.
Albeit lately it's not really saving me more weed and I'm trying to cut back, I've been going through carts much more often because I'm hitting them at work much more and in general have just been involved in more occasions that require the quickness and stealth of a quick cart hit.
All in all, they aren't my favorite method but they definitely fulfill a purpose, and they do a great job at fulfilling that purchase. And are a great tool in our disposal, but try and stick with dispensary grade and lean towards live resin. Regular dabs are much better.
Yes, for multiple reasons. When you smoke flower, you’re only getting flower, nothing else. I like that. No fillers, no flavoring, no metal particles. Just flower. I use a MouthPeace to filter out a lot of the tar and resin too. My other main concern with vapes is ease of use. I like using my bong with flower because there’s prep work which slows me down. There’s nothing like that with vapes. You can just hit it whenever.

It's a more mellow high, I think? I'm not sure how to explain it but with bud hits, you get somewhat a burst of energy and know that you just had a hit, but with carts, it creeps.

It’s gone by then . For $60 I can get about 6-7 g’s of some outdoor grown mango papaya lime strains and that last me up to a week at the most. I barely even smoke a whole joint and I roll .5’s
Flower before I leave home or staying at home, carry an edible jic. I don’t mind carts for being out and about all day but I rarely use them anymore. They are good for when I know I’m gonna be gone for 8 hours and that’s it.
I have a single cart in my rotation, but it's my last choice. When I do choose one, it's a live resin or rosin only. My DD is a DHV, and the carts do hit me a little 'weirder' than flower, though I can't quite explain it how. It is convenient to have one for situations where discretion is a priority, but it's never the first thing I reach for.

Im not a fan but I used to buy the paxs carts when they were available at my dispensaries. I like that the battery connected to an app that let you control the temp and length of the hits. Otherwise, I don't buy carts.
I can get 2 ounces for 42$ and when on sale carts around 16$ even if I could afford an ounce a carts Id get a headache from them before I got a quarter through them in the same time id smoke a half ounce. fuck that shit
Me, I won’t trust shady street carts with god knows what in them. Even dispo carts make me feel icky. Also concentrates run up your tolerance like crazy while giving you a 1 dimensional high. Consuming high thc concentrates 24/7 is a fast lane to CHS so I try to stick to flower and save concentrates for special occasions
I don't completely refuse, but I only use live resin/rosin carts I purchased myself from dispensaries and I refuse to use them at home, I have a strict "only when outside the house" policy so I don't fry my tolerance completely.
I would never specifically seek them out, or spend money on them. They just aren't worth the money IMO. But sometimes my plug includes a couple of carts or a pack of gummies with my QP order. I don't like to be wasteful, so when I get the carts, I use them. I strongly prefer flower or wax, but the carts are decent on occasion.
It's just one part of a toolkit, and nice to have the option, they often pass invisibly, or just as a nicotine device.

In a decriminalized/semi-legal/legal state with no operating dispos, it's easier for people to find carts than actual flower - everyone and their brother brings home a box of carts anytime they go out of state.
The high isn't the same. Whatever you want to say on it, it just isn't. I don't get more high off a cart than flower - y'all might just have access to lower quality flower when compared to the easy availability of carts. There's a floor on carts that is higher than most flower but then you begin to have overlap with the ceiling on the flower.
Anyways, I think along with a lot of other drugs, it comes down to the feelings associated with doing said drug. When it comes to weed, I don't get the satisfaction when I'm not getting that 'dirtiness' when it comes to burning normal flower opposed to carts.

I’ve had so many issues with full carts that stop working, vapes that don’t see the cart or just finicky combos in general I’ve kind of given up on them. I got a small dry herb vape (POTV One) and enjoy that more than carts anyway plus I get more free flower than I can go through. Hate the disposable nature of carts too.
My doctor put the fear in me about it - she said smoking obviously wasn't good, but she was seeing a more significant uptick in lung problems from people vaping.

I think rosin pens aren't worth it to most people due to the huge price increase, imo 100% live resin is the way to go in cartridges, but the bar is so low tbh and most of the hardware for the cartridges is so cheap, and if you do buy a nice ceramic/glass one it'll be expensive while still not nearly as good or price efficent as just getting a cheap e rig like the core 2.1 and just getting pucks of rosin. On top of that I do feel kinda shitty throwing so many more batteries in the garbage than I would without them. I think pens are basically only for when you need to be sneaky, like people hitting them at work on the toilet lol

Yeah that sucks dude there's so much scummy shit going on in the legal market I implore everyone to make steps towards growing their own if you care about the quality of weed at all as you can easily learn everything you need to know from YouTube videos and reddit alone. If you smoke often itll pay for itself pretty fast, especially if you can grow auto flower seeds outdoors it's a very low investment and fairly easy to do At the moment legal cultivators are all about yield and thc% over everything, leading to usually harvesting early often on a set schedule with a one size fits all approach to all the different strains, leading to a lot of nice genetics being phased out as they don't work as well with that approach. On top of that curing not working very well on a large scale, and how easy it is for all of the plants to get infected with something makes the bar very low I've definitely seen brands putting a little bit of live resin in a distillate pen and calling it live, same with a lot of the resin/rosin gummies you'll see. I've even seen the wording seemingly be purposefully confusing to mislead people into paying live resin prices for botanical terps and distillate The silver lining is that most legal states have decent competition, good weed will sell itself, and if you research the reliable cultivators/brands in your state or area you should be able to find something decent (but a lot of people dont know what they're talking about and purchase garbage thinking it's good so be careful)

I’m honestly not 100% sure, so I hope someone that actually knows this stuff will answer but here’s what I know: distillate is extracted with very high temps, so you lose most of the terpenes, and are left with high thc concentration Live resin is literally taking nugs and compressing them, with heat applied, lower temps than distillate So you’re just left with straight nug juice that has high % terpenes and is overall way stronger than distillate I don’t know the difference between live resin and rosin, but I pick up both from a few brands since they get me baked off of a 3 second hit
Rosin is the pressed solventless concentrate, generally more expensive but preferred by most due to being "cleaner". Resin is stripped off the plant material with something like a closed carbon dioxide system. There are some concerns depending on how it's done about any leftover contaminants but if you stick with quality live resin you shouldn't run into that. It's mainly just a bad old rep from people blasting butane tubes in their bathroom. Live means the plant material was frozen quickly after harvest before later being processed.

Yup. I smoked carts for a few months and was coughing daily. Switched to a dry herb vape and smoke 2-3x a day with no cough and a lower tolerance overall. It’s a little more expensive but so worth it. Carts are still great for instant, discreet consumption tho
They have a purpose but they are waaay to convenient haha my only complaint with my dry herb vape is sometimes the particles of the dry herb get in my throat and make my throat hurt the next day but even then unlike conventional smoking or carts it goes away with water dry herb vaping may not be as fun and I do miss rolling but it’s the best option overall imho

thats just how dabs are in general for me, carts are a sharp high that lasts maybe a couple minutes before dwindling out which is why i generally use mine to sleep because i can just get astronomical to fall asleep but if i chooch it throughout the day I start going through the entire cart without noticing. same with the dab rig but it lasts alot longer. and finally bud is a way more mellow nice high that lasts a few hours depending on how many bowls i indulge in. Always still gets me after a decade+ of daily use how truly differently weed in different forms can affect people. I’d always rather just dab rosin, but a good rosin cart will hit me harder than multiple rips of even great bud, and it comes with the benefit of not requiring a shower + brushing my teeth to get rid of the taste and smell for the next hour

Weird, I have the exact opposite experience. At about a decade+ of daily smoking here and all the extra burning plant matter from bud plus having to hit it way more to get the same effect gets me congested and feeling like my lungs are coated. I do it anyway lol, but being able to take a few good dab hits beats tearing through a whole bong bowl any day for me in terms of the effect it feels like it has on my lungs vs the high

Sometimes it'd be okay but half the time I'd have terrible anxiety and just wish I wasn't stoned.. but then I'd get sober and feel like shit so I smoked again. I switched to joints and lost my tolerance, and ended up having the same issue- I'd smoke half a joint, be uncomfortably stoned for 2-3 hours and then be tired and feel shitty. With carts I can take small puffs, there's no afterglow or "hangover", I don't need to go outside every time I want to smoke. I also enjoy the fact that I can be high for 30 minutes and then be back to stone cold sober while still feeling alert and awake. Plus I only go through a 1g cart every 2 weeks instead of a half ounce every 2 weeks. Much cheaper.

Eh, they work for me. I swear there's anti-cart posts everyday on here. I hit mine a few times after work and that gets me good til bed, and it lasts me like a month all for $30-$40. Some people just need to take a break or chill out on how much/often they're smoking. If you're getting high as soon as you wake up for work everyday, maybe it's not the way you're getting high thats the problem 🤷♂️
I don’t typically buy them but i will use them if i pick them up from a dispo myself or my friends have one from a dispo. Theyre too expensive to be worth having all the time, just useful for when you know smoking bud or dabs isnt going to be convenient. Street carts are always a no-go though. Fuck that.

I got caught with it a lot when i used to live with my parents since I avoided distillate.
I agree, just picked up a rosin cart as well as a live resin and man that hit felt almost similar to a joint. Loved it. And you’re right about the distillate with terps. I’ve had a few “live resin” carts and it’s just distillate with live terps. But a real one blows distillate out of the water.
I wish I liked them but they just don’t work on me anymore. I used to carry one around everywhere and dip into a restroom somewhere, and even that doesn’t do anything for me. I smoke daily these days and take edibles throughout, so I think carts have lost their effectiveness on me. I’ll put it this way, when I go to the movies and sneak off to take a pull in the bathroom, I’m straight by the time I make it back to my seat, and it sucks.

Which sucks because I have a very thin line between “I’m high and feel like I’m on top of the world” and “I’m pretty sure this weed is killing me.” When my tolerance seems to tick up a bit, I usually err on the side of caution and just end up not getting high at all.
Canada has a very regulated legal market. And if there are brands that are very transparent and make quality stuff. You pay for it. A more convenient way of consuming live rosin

I can take any weed things anymore because of my job, but I've never really cared for carts. If I manage to hit it enough to get more than a buzz it always goes away fast. I got a pen from a friend who's dealer got it from I believe California and it was actually really good. It wasn't super harsh didn't take a lot to get me high and actually lasted almost as long as smoking bud. I think the brand was Turn or Flip.

I wasn’t gonna let them go to waste so I smoked them From best to worst Live rosin (just heat and pressure generally, you can’t get all the forms of concentrate like you can with resin and I feel I usually have to turn up temps on my battery since rosin seems thicker and more likely to clog Live resin (hydrocarbon extraction usually with co^2, I don’t think they’re as likely to clog in a cart and while some brands have great resin carts rosin is flavor country for me Distillate (processed at higher temperatures than resin usually with ethanol, most people refer to these as hot dog water carts because it’s kind of the bottom of the barrel tbh. Some brands make an okay distillate pen or disposable but I refer to these as the kind of vape you hand to a friend that doesn’t really smoke or likes those elfbar pens or something along those lines)

As someone who travels a lot and hates the smell of skunk, carts are my best friend.
Flower is so much better than carts but I do use them. Because I don't smoke in the house I keep them on the night stand, next to the bed. I'll take a few puffs before bed and maybe some more if I wake up in the middle of the night and can't shut my mind up but that's about it. I try to moderate - a 1g cart lasts about 4-6 weeks and 7g of flower lasts about the same. Everything is so strong compared to 20 years ago. I can't smoke eery day. I usually just want to sleep otherwise. :l

I will only consume dispensary grade carts. I don't prefer them, but as a medical patient I try to make sure I keep 1-2 different carts in use at all times because they typically serve a purpose very well. They are great for almost any situation where you need to medicate but require discretion or stealth. It's quick and much less hassle than rolling joints, packing a bowl etc, so if you need to be fast it's great as well. I prefer live resin carts, it's closer to taking an actual dab but I use distillate pretty often also, which on it's own is not very good and kinda feels flat and bland, but mixed with flower it can really reduce the amount of weed I need per sesh. Albeit lately it's not really saving me more weed and I'm trying to cut back, I've been going through carts much more often because I'm hitting them at work much more and in general have just been involved in more occasions that require the quickness and stealth of a quick cart hit. All in all, they aren't my favorite method but they definitely fulfill a purpose, and they do a great job at fulfilling that purchase. And are a great tool in our disposal, but try and stick with dispensary grade and lean towards live resin. Regular dabs are much better.

Yes, for multiple reasons. When you smoke flower, you’re only getting flower, nothing else. I like that. No fillers, no flavoring, no metal particles. Just flower. I use a MouthPeace to filter out a lot of the tar and resin too. My other main concern with vapes is ease of use. I like using my bong with flower because there’s prep work which slows me down. There’s nothing like that with vapes. You can just hit it whenever.

It’s gone by then . For $60 I can get about 6-7 g’s of some outdoor grown mango papaya lime strains and that last me up to a week at the most. I barely even smoke a whole joint and I roll .5’s

I have a single cart in my rotation, but it's my last choice. When I do choose one, it's a live resin or rosin only. My DD is a DHV, and the carts do hit me a little 'weirder' than flower, though I can't quite explain it how. i don’t mind them for when smoking isn’t an option, and i have had some pretty nice carts tbh! but i do prefer flower
I can't use them. They make me cough so hard it hurts. That abd inhaling polyethylene glycol doesn't seem like a very good idea.
I would never specifically seek them out, or spend money on them. They just aren't worth the money IMO. But sometimes my plug includes a couple of carts or a pack of gummies with my QP order. I don't like to be wasteful, so when I get the carts, I use them. I strongly prefer flower or wax, but the carts are decent on occasion.
It's just one part of a toolkit, and nice to have the option, they often pass invisibly, or just as a nicotine device. When I were a lad we had hash or hash.

I'm always being asked if I got carts and I just tell everyone that they can literally find anyone else for that shit. In a decriminalized/semi-legal/legal state with no operating dispos, it's easier for people to find carts than actual flower - everyone and their brother brings home a box of carts anytime they go out of state. The high isn't the same. Whatever you want to say on it, it just isn't. I don't get more high off a cart than flower - y'all might just have access to lower quality flower when compared to the easy availability of carts. There's a floor on carts that is higher than most flower but then you begin to have overlap with the ceiling on the flower. Anyways, I think along with a lot of other drugs, it comes down to the feelings associated with doing said drug. When it comes to weed, I don't get the satisfaction when I'm not getting that 'dirtiness' when it comes to burning normal flower opposed to carts.

When someone just says carts, I immediately know they're talking about distillate. I refuse distillate as well, but live resin/rosin carts are amazballs.
I used to do carts a lot, but I kinda find they are more likely to give a bad time in the morning next day. (I call it a hashover) I don’t have probs with other concentrates and usually dab or smoke infused joints. Something about pens just isn’t right. A hit or two won’t really affect me so & I will usually take a small puff to be polite if handed one, but it’s definitely not my preference.
I tried a few of them but the artificial flavor of non live resin/rosin carts are awful. I do pick up live rosin and live rosin carts on occasion but those are amazing when I do get them.
Yes, I’m a Dr Dabber switch lover. Been using one for 4 years or so, just got an xs so I can have a smaller dedicated vape for concentrate. Also have a crafty and pax. Never got into carts and see no reason.
Depends on the quality of the cart if it’s too shelf the high is good but carts and bud highs feel different can’t wait till I have my own place so I can only use bud
I tried them out for a year or two when we first got rec dispensaries in California, mostly just live resin. I’ve had so many issues with full carts that stop working, vapes that don’t see the cart or just finicky combos in general I’ve kind of given up on them. I got a small dry herb vape (POTV One) and enjoy that more than carts anyway plus I get more free flower than I can go through. Hate the disposable nature of carts too.

I’m not a fan. I’ll grab one every now and then for specific occasions, but I rarely use them.
It's lame to gate keep methods of marijuana consumption.
My doctor put the fear in me about it - she said smoking obviously wasn't good, but she was seeing a more significant uptick in lung problems from people vaping. Dunno how accurate that is, but I've just smoked ever since.
