Just to clarify what this actually is for everyone: d9 is the legitimate thc distillate. It’s not the lame cousin you can buy in convenience stores. This is some kind of shot that can be added to soda or alcohol. It’s most definitely grey market as it has no nutritional or volumetric info other than dosage. The dosage is most likely a guess but it will be generically “strong”. Usually grey-market “500mg” will be more in the neighborhood of 80-150mg. But it’s not a rule. Enjoy!

They are both regular weed. The plant will have more thca in its natural state but it also produces some delta 9. The thca turns into delta 9 when you decarb it with heat. It’s the good stuff.
Cannabis contains all of them. Thca Delta 8 delta 9 Cbd terpenes you name it. Because the law has to be written specifically, it’s specially Delta 9 THC that’s a controlled substance, which also happens to be the most psychoactive individual canabinoid. However, on its own it’s pretty lame imo. This is why a lot of distillate pens get you buzzed, but not like smoking a bowl or eating a gummy will. It’s also why distillate and live resin pens (if they’re actually legit) work much better. Because the live resin contains much more of the full spectrum of canabinoids and terpenes, whereas the distillate is almost purely delta9.
Idk where you’re from, but my state is illegal. You can only really buy it at convenience stores or a cute overpriced head-shop😂 that and thca and all the other loopholes

The dispensary brand one that I get the most is URB or sometimes I get the prepacked brand Gelato those are legit. The runtz ones are almost never legitimate. They sell runtz pens empty everywhere and every ghetto carryout in my city has runtz pens.
Well lately the dispensary started making their own legal disposables. But aside from those the Butter ones are good at wild bills tobacco if you got those. They are really the leading brick and mortar for the legal market if you can get to one. I've never had anything from them then I didn't trust the label and the QR codes all go to the correct product unlike some other brands I've ordered.
I like the last point you make. You have to have your COAs in order and I absolutely despise when you scan QR codes and they lead to a main page and then it turns out that the COA isn’t even up there, tho others are. What’s the point of “convenience” in a QR code of it doesn’t directly lead you to the COA. So lazy, such a bad look and I don’t trust it either.
All these people telling you to throw it away don't know what they're talking about. The 2018 Farm Bill allows for d9 edibles because 0.3% by weight when most of the weight is solid or liquid food matter is plenty doable.
