I’ve been using elastic hair bands, like ponytail holders. 50 for $5 at the grocery story. I think I’ve had like 1 break ever. I just put new ones on for races or a ride that matters.
Yeah. They stretched pretty well. I just went from the last piece of my bottle cage to the spout of the bottle.
I can dm you a pic when I’m home later.
Bingo. Doesn’t need to be fancy, just functional. Test out before race day, make sure you hit some solid bumps to confirm it stays and you’re good to go.
the saddle is a wove brand and that’s what they send for cages. i have the saddle and a band.
the front, im guessing is the same band, just used in a different setup.
I bought heavy duty velcro and threw some on the inside of my cages and on a few bottles. I haven't had a chance to try them out for anything longer than a sprint but they seem to hold.
saddles are extremely personal and there’s not any best saddle ever.
that said, out of all the saddles i’ve tried the wove works best for me. its width is perfect for where i perch myself in the saddle.
Related to this point, I have to bands included with my holders but never used them, have since lost two of my favourite bottles on a ride. Can someone enlighten me on how to use while at speed? Looks a bit fiddly?
I didn’t see it at first, but it looks like one of those AI rendered pictures: all looks fine if you glance over but once you look a bit longer you suddenly see people with no legs or three arms… what a creation…

The diameter of them is like 1.5-2”, right? It’s long enough?

Yes do that please. Im also curious how you remove the band, is it easy? Or do you have like a zip tie to create a ring to help pull it off?
Just loop the band on itself to the bottle cage
I cut stretchy running shoe laces down and they work great. Normal rubber bands can be too stretchy, but can work if you find the right strength ones
Great idea. I figured rubber bands arnt the best of ideas
Been using those wider rubber bands for years. One isn’t enough on my setup, so just double ‘em up. Three is perfect for my setup.

Works like a charm.

Thank you. I see it on their website! But $20 each. Tough hahahah. I guess I can make similar with bungee cord and zip ties

How do you like saddle? I'm looking for new one and heard good things about it. It is just the cost that is quite steep for what it is

do you ride towards the nose of the saddle or use entire saddle? I'm "nose rider".
nose.
thanks man!
That saddle setup looks sick as hell. Premier stuff.
I've used lace locks in the past
This is what I did. Cut extra length off and good to go!
I always use a hair elastic band from my GF. Works fine.

I’ve used skateboard tape on the bottle and on the bottle cage with an elastic hairband. UK has awful potholes.
If you go to Amazon and look up ‘web dominator’ it might work for you.
Thank you
I just use a really firm carbon cage and point it slightly upward.
Durex Ace
Google silicone bands. Grifiti Band Joes are my fave.

whats the shin sock (not a sock) thing for?
Aerodynamics. Not sure how much you save tho
It depends. For some people it makes no difference, for others it’s 10+ watts
sweet jesus, that Felt is fugly. Hunchback from Notre Dame ugly
