As much as I would love that I think it’s more likely going to go like this:
Prosecution raises the post today.
Merchan says they’ll discuss it on the 23rd with the other 3.

Merchan agrees on $1,000/post. Trump owes 4K and is told to delete said posts. Fine gets kicked up to 2,500 or 3,000 an event. If he crosses the line it gets kicked up to 5,000, and then again if he does it 10,000. If he crosses the line at 10,000 then he’ll get held for 24 hours. After that? Who knows.
We all, including the judge, know Trump is going to attempt to appeal his conviction. And sadly there is two systems at play here so he has to be given an insane amount of chances for whatever damn reason.
Trump wants to get the 24-hour hold in jail so bad. I can tell his campaign team is already asking AI "create a picture depicting Donald Trump nailed to a cross wearing a crown of thorns" for their impending meme-storm.
I really don't think he'll hold it until the 23rd. It was too brazen, and about a juror. That's very different. We shall see!

Normally I'd agree but think every single miniscule dollar hurts his ego and that's why he's notorious for not paying. Wasn't he the one that cashed checks for literal cents that one of the newspapers were sending out just to see who would actually cash them?
