It’s a huge step up from a suitcase player. I consider this the entry into playing records.

Level-Delivery329

I just got this. Do you have any recommended speakers for this?

RedditModPissJug

Sure. What’s your budget? Also, congrats. I started with the same one.

bikemonkey40

It's fine. It was my first turntable until I upgraded. It'll get you started in the hobby and won't damage your records.

vsweet88

What did you upgrade to. This is where I started now I got the LP120

GolfBallWackrGuy

I went straight for the LP120 - it’s worth the extra investment if you plan on collecting long term.

SRW2324

Same here! Can't go wrong!

ElroySheep

Agreed

chris-c-thomas

Could you explain the differences as to why? Curious and just learning.

[deleted]

Lp60 doesn’t have an adjustable counterweight which can lead to skipping and the cartridge can’t be upgraded. It also just feels cheap and lightweight, if you just have a few records it’s perfect but if you want a big collection and to take the hobby really seriously you’ll eventually want something way better.

supradeedoopra

Does the LP120 have the ability to play a record from label to edge? I have Jack White's Lazaretto and one side is to be played inside to outside.

top-gentrifier

Any player can- it’s just a reversed groove. The tone arm goes where the stylus goes and the stylus goes where the groove goes. If yours doesn’t your anti skating feature is super jacked up and probably destroying your left channel

bikemonkey40

I went to a Fluance RT-82 then upgraded it. Got the acrylic platter that comes with the RT-85 then changed the whole headshell to this thing.https://www.lpgear.com/product/UPGFLUANCERT82.html It's not crazy fancy or anything but definitely sounds A LOT better.

EastSetting2395

Not sure what’s happening in this post. Yes this is a good starter table. It is the first one recommended in the sticky. I also used to own one and found it decent for the price.

Radialpuddle

Yeah I saw that in the sticky after I posted! Not sure why others are saying no

belte5252

Only reasom im meh, is cuz the arm doesn't have counter weight. But it works. Id personally save for something else but that's just me.

skituate

I WISH this was my starting turntable. Happy for you.

GummiBerry_Juice

Because a lot of people are gatekeepers and like to make themselves feel good

1-FlipsithfloP-3

People say no because they are snobby muppet hipsters. This IS a beginner table all day long and I can’t think of a better more affordable example .

NoMagician9763

I started w the pioneer pl 990 and my fiance had started with this. They are basically the same except the pl990 has an easy visual for speed calibration. I feel like the onboard preamp was better too on the 990, but that may have been a room difference. The lp60 is a nice entry level tt. I would suggest swapping out the stylus for the lp gear elliptical stylus. Its a super simple swap in thats like 50$ that makes a big difference in sound and tracking. Albums that would skip no longer skipped. I ended up going to a uturn orbit with a grado black cartridge and I upgraded the stylus to an 8mz i think? I like it better, but its more expensive setup. A basic uturn orbit isnt a bad deal either though.

JMaboard

Where? https://imgur.com/a/u7Bey It has the 120 the GO is based off the 60 not the 120.

vwestlife

The AT-LPGO-BT is Wal-Mart's version of the AT-LP60**X**-BT. It uses the same AT3600L phono cartridge as nearly half the turntables on that list.

JMaboard

Yeah but it’s not on the recommended list as everyone keeps saying it’s the lower tier version. It’s on the do not buy list. Whether or not people here think it’s worth it isn’t my point. I’m just stating it’s not on the list even though everyone else thinks the 120 is the same as the 60/GO

FoxMuldersHair

Yeah, it's a totally competent starter table. If you're not sure how often you're going to be playing records or space is at a premium for you, it's a great option. I owned one of these for about a year before I replaced it with a Pro-ject Debut Carbon Evo. It's the starter table I recommend for friends who are interested in getting into the hobby without breaking the bank.

Sufficient_Slice_355

Exactly what I did

crapinet

Is that for any of the at-lp60 models? (I’m trying to dig through the variations 60x, go-bt, gm-cr to figure out the differences)

artificial_beans

Yes, absolutely.

RedditModPissJug

It’s already in your cart. Lol

Radialpuddle

Well yeah but I’m still shopping 😂

8-Bit-Skull

The AT 60 is a great baseline for solid starter turntables. The AT 120 is also a good one with more features.  You can not go wrong with the AT brand. Just stay away from anything with the name “Crosley” on it.

Smooth_Molassas

>Just stay away from anything with the name “Crosley” on it Half good, half bad advice. Some Crosley's are made by Pro-Ject and are quite good. Keep up man.

Baardhooft

It’s a decent beginner turntable if you’re not looking to buy used. Ignore the haters. I’m usually very critical but these turntables are fine. They’re not amazing, but they’ll play records without damaging them and sound semi-decent.

trippymum

If you have the funds I'd say go straight to a 120.

Chrome-Head

The 120 takes quite a bit more care and setup to play. OP didn't specify preference, but the 60 is just about plug in and go.

entropic_tendencies

Eww

kezPE

Yes. Starter table and good for a few years til you feel the bug to upgrade.

SavageMatHorror

I have the AT-LP60X since I’m not interested in Bluetooth (I really does defeat the purpose of analog music) with some decent powered speakers and it’s a perfectly fine entry level starting point. Much better then a Crosley Cruiser or Victrola piece of crap that come with a ceramic cartridge and cheap plastic mechanisms.

TAGIVIKINGS

Unless your records are from the 60s, they're not really analog

birbm

They are by the time the supplied audio is cut onto a lacquer.

TAGIVIKINGS

i'm sorry man that's just cope

birbm

Hey not my problem if you know nothing about the process. Fair enough, there isn’t much good information online.

JMaboard

Imagine thinking people don’t record onto tape anymore and it stopped in the 60’s. On December 31st 1969 the international govt banned recording to analog and made it illegal everywhere in the world :/

AdPsychological1414

All of my records are from the 60s lol I’m a Beatles addict

TAGIVIKINGS

Thats pretty cool

ablx

I Just got one of these at WalMart on clearance (it was open box) and am very happy with the purchase. Previously we had a Crosley player in the room and this was a big upgrade.

Admirable-Currency84

I've been using this player for 5 years with no problems. Only had to adjust the speed once

[deleted]

If you look at [the sticky](https://www.reddit.com/r/turntables/s/qHEjhJzRru), you'll see recommended turntables.

Raknorak

The AT Outlet has the player this is based on without the Bluetooth for 104. Not sure how much this one is but personally would want to avoid using BT anyway. [Outlet](https://outlet.audio-technica.com/turntables?product_list_order=price)

naenaeman69420

Yessssss! Everyone looking to get into vinyl should check out the AT Outlet. You can get a higher end turntable for the same price as a new lower end one! Not that any of their tables are low end I own a LP60X from the outlet and it’s awesome. But everyone looking to get into it CHECK THIS LINK OUT!!!

GummiBerry_Juice

Jesus fucking hell those prices are fantastic

Raknorak

One thing to know is that these are all returned or refurbished products. They come with a 1 year warranty and a new cartridge. There was a sale in February last year, I got an lp3bk for 79.

GummiBerry_Juice

Yeah for sure, not to be overlooked. But, how bad could they be?!

cruisingforall

Bought a like new one used for $40 I love it

humanjabba

Yes

EmberTheFoxyFox

Yes, I’d say it’s the minimum you would want to start with, it’s a decent table

CountMcBurney

I gifted this exact same table to someone getting into records. 10/10 starter table for the money.

Specialist_Aioli_634

Shure, it’s decent

PrismaticHearts

This was my starter! I upgraded to a LP120 recently

Gramathon910

Drop the extra $120 for an LP-120, the adjustable tracking force is paramount if you plan to upgrade your cart/stylus. This table is okay if you don’t plan on going deeper but if you like the hobby make the extra investment.

KiddLawson

The comments on these kind of posts crack me up! 😆😂😅🤣 Not sure how the OP is going to make a decision based on the extremes on both sides of the question. There’s everything from, “This is the greatest turntable and you’ll be able to take it to Heaven with you!” to, “Don’t buy it! It’ll eat your girlfriend in her sleep!” Sheesh! 😒

Radialpuddle

lol I went ahead and got it and kept the receipt just in case! 🤣

rakete-mensch

Yes, I started with that turntable too, and it’s a good one.

BugbearJingo

This was my starter! I got a good year and a half out of it before I upgraded. Worked just fine and my records sounded good 👍 I upgraded to a Pro-ject Carbon Debut and the improvement was noticable. However, had I never upgraded I'd still be having fun listening to music on the ATLP60

Fancy_Consequence_80

The at3600l cartridge on it is great for the price. And that TT has a preamp if you have an amp with no phono stage.

4cedCompliance

I love my AT-LP60XBT. I’ve had it about 13 months and recently updated the stylus to the LP Gear CFN3600LE, which has assuaged my desire to upgrade for at least another year (if not longer) because the sound it produces is absolutely mind blowing. Now, I thought the stock stylus sounded great, too, but I believe there are nuances and depth captured by the elliptical CFN3600LE that I didn’t hear with the conical ATN3600L. In short, both styli sound amazing and you won’t be disappointed with what comes out of the box. Now, you’ll want to isolate the table as much as possible & reduce vibrations from reaching it the best you can. I have mine set atop some cork plant coasters (they’re, like, $1 at The Home Depot) and my speakers are on some foam stands as I have no choice but to have the turntable & speakers on the same surface (though u/VWestlife will accurately attest this isn’t as big a deal as many proclaim). Many on this sub see it as their duty to tear down this table at every turn and I’ve never understood why. That’s one reason I never posted a photo of my setup in those initial days when it was new & I wanted to show it off — I don’t need the negativity & ridicule. Before the naysayers start downvoting, I will say that I’m certain there are better-sounding record players out there. And hopefully one day I can try one myself & see. But for the money I spent on my table & speakers — and the family-based environment in which I live — I’m more than pleased with the quality of sound I get from this turntable & my Edifier R1280T active speakers.

yourshelves

Bluetooth is an *option* on this. It has Phono- and Line Out, the latter by a decent inbuilt phono stage. So it’s as analogue as anything else. Also, the Bluetooth is aptX and aptX Adaptive, so for a convenience option, it’s a pretty decent one.

ob1pad01

Depends what it's attached to. What are your starting speakers?

Radialpuddle

I got the edifier 1280t’s

Aceman1979

There you go. Solid start.

Independent-Wait-873

I used to have one of those crappy all-in-one Victrola music centers and it ended up breaking, for my next turntable I purchased an Audio Technical AT-LP60-BK on sale for $100. It's super simple and easy to set up, has great sound quality, and was a fantastic buy. I think the LPG0 is wireless while the LP-60x is wired. Overall it was a great buy for me and a drastic improvement from those toy-like all-in-one turntables and I'd definitely recommend this for you

Smart-Bluebird4728

I bought one of these earlier this week, and I had to return it. The tone arm would glide straight to the middle of my records, scratching one, but not too bad. Im sure not all of these ade bad though...

Sureshot_Jay

It will get you in the door, it's a good starting point, especially if you're not sure just how far down the rabbit hole you want to go. The good thing is, this unit has a built in pre-amp and it's plug and go with any pair of powered speakers. The AT cart that comes with it is decent and is better than any ceramic stylus that is on a lot of the cheap suitcase turntables, therefore, saving your vinyl from excessive wear. Eventually, when you want to go deeper into the vinyl hobby, you may want to upgrade, but as for a starting deck, it's fine. But then, what is your goal? Periodically listening? Just starting out to see if you want to collect vinyl? Or do you plan on going bigger later? It comes down to personal preference and what you like. But in the simplest terms, yes this is a good starter deck that I'm sure you will enjoy

SilverSageVII

It’s bare minimum. It’ll need to be changed if you really want to listen to records often.

vwestlife

Yes.

CrowBlownWest

For everyone but the audiophile yes

cornbeanx

I’ve had this for years and years, absolutely love it

kstacey

It's the basic.

Aggressive-Ad3452

Yep, very decent. I picked one up recently

vinylcigar

Better then every suitcase one you will fine. I used the bow Bluetooth version for about 6 years no issues

cjirishlez

I have the LP120XBT when it’s late at night as I’m a night owl having the headphones to listen via Bluetooth is nice.

Tanukisus

I love mine

robxburninator

They're a good value for the price. that's about it.

Dog_Dad_1989

This is discussed 10 times per day. Yes.

sharkamino

You can get the [AT-LP60X](https://outlet.audio-technica.com/turntables/at-lp60x-gm-cr) for $105 if you don't need the Bluetooth transmitter in the AT-LPGO.

AccordingCoconut7485

Just bought my second one of these from Walmart today ..it's a great product one for each home 👍👍

Kyleracesonsunday

Maybe if you’re tone deaf

Aceman1979

To be fair, more expensive generally does mean better. Though there are diminishing returns.

JMaboard

Naa apparently a Rega p3, with a Rega exact cart and with a tube pre amp and high end receiver sounds the same as a AT GO into a Bluetooth soundbar.

Aromatic-Position-53

Yes!

[deleted]

Yeah it's good. Diamond stylus, tone arm is the proper weight, has a built-in amp that is decent. Honestly if you're not super fussed about it you could use this one forever, not only as a "starter" turntable. It's very good. Just get good speakers.

proceeds_theweedian

My first was the non Bluetooth regular lp60, and the cheap edifier speakers with the silver coned drivers in 2017. Was plenty to get started, and has led to the spending of thousands upon thousands of dollars into present day

itz_mr_billy

Does Bluetooth not defeat the purpose of using records?

[deleted]

It depends. If you can stream 320kbps to high quality speakers, it can sounds great. I'm using a Wiim Pro fed from a Zen Air Phono and a Fluance RT82 to a Sony HT-A9 system. It honestly sounds awesome. But since I went with a modular setup, it's easy to add speakers in the future if I want to experiment. Bluetooth does provide nice flexibility to play anywhere in the house though, and if I want to listen on airpods to listen alone (I know, not the same), that works, too.

itz_mr_billy

Interesting, thanks!

GummiBerry_Juice

Hey, could you please let me know how the Bluetooth feature is?

jarrodandrewwalker

It is, but be aware you will need something extra to hear it. There's no volume control on that unit if I'm correct (I have a similar Bluetooth model). I had to get a headphone amp for when I don't want to use the Bluetooth function.

Derben16

I'm amused by all the comments of "it's fine" and how it does most things ok. Like, yeah, man, it's called a starter turntable for a reason. I started on this thing and then moved on to a Fluance RT81.

One-Ice1815

It’s fine. I’d rather have you look for a good vintage player though. More bang for your buck.

Plarocks

No. That plastic deck should cost $60, tops.

Working_Ad390

no

Radialpuddle

Whys that?

[deleted]

Because it's cheap and plastic and sounds terrible no matter what you hook it up to.

SurfLikeASmurf

“Beginner turntable” is such a misleading term. Why would you begin here knowing you will have to upgrade? Why not go straight to something that you won’t have to upgrade in the very near future? Now, I’m not saying go spend $1500 on a table, but you yourself are already thinking about upgrading. Why spend more money on the same table?

soulab

I guess your first car was a Porsche or something..

SurfLikeASmurf

I enjoy a bit of snark in banter, but surely you’re not comparing a turntable with a mode of transportation?

soulab

It's the mindset, bro, go deeper.

TwoSolitudes22

Barely. Absolute bottom of the list. Better than a suitcase.

Kings_Gold_Standard

Is it a Technics SL-1200 MK2 with an Ortofon head shell and Night Club Diamond tipped stylus?

Mr45acp

I’d just go with the Pioneer DJ PLX-500 Direct Drive turntable.

[deleted]

Sorry but not really.

mizpah88

Buy a vintage table. This is a piece of junk. It might turn you off vinyl completely and might destroy your records too.

vwestlife

Vintage turntables are far more likely to be pieces of junk or damage your records, versus a new turntable that is guaranteed to be working properly.

dups68

As evidence by all the post asking about issues on brand new turntables

vwestlife

If 10 times as many people buy new turntables than vintage ones, then even if you see 10 times as many people reporting problems with them, that does not make them any more unreliable.

dups68

Correct, it's the cheap components, low quality mechanisms, poor quality control, and design to bottom line that make them more unreliable, not the floods of post.

mizpah88

Even a basic table from the 70s will outperform and outlast this plastic toy.

trippymum

Provided that basic table has been well-maintained and is in good shape.

weesgegroet

I asked myself the same question and tried google. Why don't you try it, it's helpful.

mtbjay10

That’s literally why people come to Reddit. You realize Reddit posts are one of the first things to pop up when you google a question?

Radialpuddle

No

WatersEdge50

No. Not really. You will eventually want something better.

JMaboard

No, read the sticky on recommendations. https://imgur.com/a/jTzy8

Radialpuddle

It’s the first one in the recommendations. This is the Walmart version of the lp60

JMaboard

Yeah it says “One of the most popular turntables sold today is not what I would recommend to even a beginner. “ in reference to that player. In the recommended tables under $500 it has the LP120 not the GO which is the LP60 https://imgur.com/a/u7Bey

vwestlife

That's just one guy's opinion, from someone who has probably never even touched an AT-LP60X. The vast majority of people who actually own and use one are happy with it -- myself included.

vwestlife

That is terribly out of date and full of wrong information. The AT-LP60 it mentions was discontinued five years ago, both it and its replacement (the AT-LP60**X**) do have a counterbalanced tonearm with anti-skating.

JMaboard

Then they should update it so people don’t get the wrong info. I don’t see anything in the description about it having a counterweight.

vwestlife

A counterweight is just one of several methods of properly balancing a tonearm and achieving the correct tracking force. You can use a counterweight, a counterbalance spring, both, or in some cases neither, if the tonearm is light enough to not require it.

[deleted]

All the kids with this turntable are going ham on the downvote button.

[deleted]

Imagine if there were mods who actually took care of posts of this...

theRealNilz02

It's better than nothing, or a crosley/Victrola(clone) but I'd go for a higher end vintage player.

SnorfOfWallStreet

You’re buying it at Walmart. What do you think?

Radialpuddle

I think it works great so far!

Titan1020304050

Yes

RobbieRotten55

I have the LP60X rather than the BT due to thinking that Bluetooth audio kinda defeats the purpose of vinyl, but fundamentally it’s the same player. Great starter for newbies like us, highly recommend Only issue I have is that the automatic stopping/starting makes it so you can’t ever hear the runout groove, which makes vinyl experiences like Sgt. Pepper sorta incomplete

billythekid74

Yes.

builtfrombricks

I like the uturn Orbitz w preamp

DrRock88

Yes

ArthurJS1

It is. I have two of them. But I got them thrifting for $10 a piece. They are great.

Woofy98102

Only if you intend on replacing it in six months or less. Save your money.

VinnyMaxta

It is a decent pick, Def not a bad choice, but consider the 120 model, because you will eventually get it, or better. The annoying thing with the 60 is that you dont have a quartz, so you have to manually adjust the speed with 2 tiny screws UNDER the table... very annoying when you notice you are spinning at 32rpm the 34 then 35 etc

athiest4christ

Not sure about that particular model, but I have an AT turntable, and it is pretty sweet. The only reason I bought it is because the Motorhead Ace of Spades box set was vinyl only, and my lady's player was a cheapo crap one you can buy for like $30. The AT has standard outs and USB, no Bluetooth, but it is perfect for my needs. AT makes a decent product for sure. Edit: Looked it up, I bought the AT-LP60XUSB-GM. So slightly cheaper than that one, no longer in stock, but a pretty good turntable. But I would guess it's just for us casual vinyl types, not for the hardcore LP folks.

Hifi-Life0220

sure why not

Imaginary-Praline-73

No

dan-duz-shit

I got it, and the tonearm was ass. keep your money and save up for a better one.

markjdevlin

Save your money and find used Technics and get a decent cartridge. Keep your vinyl clean.

Realistic-Young2955

Yes

Real-Currency5895

As good as any. Enjoy yourself!

IndelibleIguana

It'll do.

extranaiveoliveoil

Yes!

Can-I-remember

Yes

janguscrisp

It’s… a turntable. Technically.

Big-Chard-6735

Would the LPW50BT (360€ where I am) make it a better choice considering futureproof upgradability or the LP60BT(165€) does it just fine? I want to start playing via my marshall bt and then go for some good powered speakers and the last step would be investing in a really good receiver. So, do I save from the first turntable buy and invest in higher end receiver and speaker and then buy a better TT?

likeagausss

I got this table 15 months ago as my first. Couldn’t be happier. Will I eventually upgrade? Yes. But I highly recommend it.

Joesred1517

YES.

TheStumbler83

You’re not gonna be able to scratch on that

Acceptable_Aspect_42

It's OK, you can get better if you go to thrift stores or yardsales

williehodges

I used that one an a decent second turn table since it has Bluetooth

sonorandosed

It's definitely good. Records will sound great.

Meha124hu

It's OK 👍

s_w_a_m23

Unless you foresee losing interest in collecting and getting rid or shoving all your vinyls in the closest like a guitar, I say no, splurge for something else. I mean it'll suffice, but it only has bluetooth capabilities for audio if it's the one I'm thinking of. This limits your options for good speakers; unless headphones are the only place it's at for you.

evilgreenman

Definitely, but get the one without Bluetooth so save some $. Playing vinyl thru Bluetooth is kind of backwards, if you will.

OkFondant5240

It’s a good start and won’t break the bank while you get settled into the hobby. Some good speakers and this thing won’t sound half bad. And it won’t ruin your records.

ccullen0013

This was my starter and it was great, especially at that price point. I upgraded to a vintage Sony PS-X45 with an Ortofon red cart. Good starter table for sure.

Positive-Sleep-6610

It's a starter table and does what it's designed for. As you move up in upgrades. The weaknesses of a starter piece begin to materialize. Most glaring, you can't upgrade the cartridge. So grow with it and when you're ready you'll know when it's time. . You get a thirst for better sound and realize it's time to move up.

arifghalib

I use one in my living room, paired with about 30 LPs I don’t cherish, for visitors who want to listen. It’s very easy to operate and sound good for the money.

Chrome-Head

I would say so. It's automatic meaning that the arm returns to the start at the end of a record. I have one of these as my second table and actually got one for my mom a couple years back. I have its older brother the 120 which is my main.

curbthemeplays

I had a cheaper AT and it was plenty enjoyable. I then moved up to a U-Turn, and now a Fluance which I really like for the price.

Thehellpriest83

Did you have one before ? If not then it’s a great starting point !

ImGarzaa

If you use the Bluetooth you're completely abandoning the experience of analog audio. Bluetooth audio is compressed. Just make sure you run wired speakers if you want analog sound.

BooleanASkinnyGhost

How weird do they have to be for the best experience? Like 70s ones with gold lamé grille cloth? Or some kind of space age asymmetrical cabinet type thing?

ImGarzaa

My bad 🤣 I fixed it

PetterssonsNeck

I have the LP60BT/USB it’s great

1-FlipsithfloP-3

It is a perfectly good turntable for a beginner. It is very straight forward and has a decent stylus. If you really get the bug for vinyl later on you can upgrade and still get @$85 to $100 if you take proper care of it and hang on to the box and packaging. I have sold many of these and they always sell fairly quick. So protect your investment and after you upgrade use that dough to go buy more vinyl.

No_Two8212

I have the suitcase vinyl player and it’s so-so

zipster19

I did not have good luck with this model. It ran noticeably fast. And while adjustment to speed is straightforward it is not easy, especially with an automatic table.

RomeliaHatfield

The complete reversal online surrounding this product is alarming and concerning. No, we should not discourage people from wanting to buy turntables, however, it’s not a good product. It will harm your records over the long run. However, most people will buy a turntable like this before spending more money. It’s just the way of things. for about $200, you can probably get a U-turn table that is way better built and will last longer, as well as having a counter weight that keep your records safer than the audio technica. The only problem with this is that you will have to spend more money on a preamp and amplifier/speakers. Ymmv.

Psykoflydnb

Depends on what you are using for..if you are just playing records, it's great!..better if you buy a good stylus.

Zeinzu

Yes IT is. It’s a nice one. If you can dibs it, there is the same model that plugs into the usb of your computer!!!

Itsneverjustajoke

Get a used better table for the same price.

sassenger4

The Bluetooth stops after about half way through one side of an LP…

wangrenade

I have the LP3XBT version myself. The LP60 is pretty decent if you are a plug and play kinda person. Starting out it will service you well.

ZigtheMetalNerd

Yes! I enjoyed mine so much that I got another Audio Technica when I finally upgraded. This one lasted me almost 5 years and still works perfectly fine but I just wanted to squeeze a little more fidelity out of my records lol. I recommend the lp60 and some edifier speakers and you're good to go.

Physical-East-7881

Let us know

Independent-Flow-272

Pass on it get a vintage pioneer

imintheband88

YES!

Vinylville33

Yes.

SirHotWad

I have this turntable and it's solid. Hoping to upgrade soon, but this turntable will suit you just fine.

ViniVidiScreechi

It's a good turntable. It's doesn't have to be a good starting turntable. If you have plenty of money, get one that's more expensive. If getting that is going to put a damper on your food budget, get one that's less expensive. No one who isn't a dildo is going to judge you for your turntable. Get it and enjoy it!

Excellent-Ad1867

My sister got me Victrola suitcase style turntable for Christmas one year but admittedly I never used it more than once or twice because I knew it wasn’t good for my hand me down collection. I just recently got a Fluance RT80 with Ai41 speakers and man for a lower end setup it sounds killer. Really digging it.

Arran1303

You buy cheap, you buy twice! If you’re going to seriously start collecting I would pay the extra for a proper turntable that will most likely last you a life time and give you the ability to change cartridges etc….if and when needed 👍

BadgerJaded1440

I purchased a fluance turntable for my system, It came highly recommended.
