I am 30 now, and I found them when I was 21. Self Titled is one of my favorite albums ever released. Vessels is probably my second favorite 21 Pilots album, but still comes nowhere near Self Titled in how much I like it.
I think that the reason the 8-10 year mark splits between Trench and Vessels is because they got a lot of Radio Play with BlurryFace, and the radio songs on Blurryface are similar in feel and style to Trench as an album and that surely brought in a lot of fans.
I tried really hard to get into Trench when it came out because I was excited for more music, even after being indifferent overall about Blurryface. I couldn't force myself to like Trench.

Technically, I was first exposed to TØP when I was 23, when a friend played Blurryface shortly after it released. However, I was still only listening to classic rock back then, so I didn't really *find* them.
I really found TØP in April of 2021, just before SAI was released. I was 28, almost 29. Now I'm 30, almost 31.
Self-titled is my favorite album, but SAI is a close second, and Trench and Vessel are tied for a very close third. I think SAI will always hold a special place in my heart as my first era. Plus, I love the tie-dye merch because I was obsessed with The Beatles and that whole era's peace/love vibe. SAI's sound is also more similar to the oldies I grew up with, so I immediately felt at home with it. But, Self-Titled is my favorite because it's my go-to comfort album. It lets me be sad but also gives me tools to pull myself out when I'm ready.
RAB is my least favorite as a whole, but Kitchen Sink and Forest are my two favorite songs, and Glowing Eyes is also really high up there. I also love Slowtown.

I started casually liking them back in the Blurryface era after hearing some songs on the radio, I was 41, and I’m 48 now. Our family ended up seeing them twice on the Takeover Tour and that first show at the smaller venue blew me away! My teen son and I became HUGE fans after that, and went back through and listened to each album more closely and got into the lore. I would have to pick Vessel as my favorite album…the lyrics line up with so much of how I’ve felt my whole life. 💙❤️

17, I’m 25 now. My favorite album fluctuates sometimes depending on my mood. I really love Trench and Scaled and Icy, but recently started listening to their first album more, and it’s growing on me quickly.
