It's also just cool because TOP is my favorite band, while Halsey is my sister's favorite, so we both got pretty hyped up when that was rumored, though it never came to be unfortunately.

I’m a huge fan of both tøp and Taylor Swift and though it’s an extremely unlikely collab, and most people here seem to be EXTREMELY against it, I think it’d be awesome to hear what they’d come up with, they do have contrasting styles but are both talented in songwriting aspects (I’ve seen many deny this and I don’t understand why?? she is undeniably a great songwriter especially if you look outside her hits) so I think they’d be able to figure the sound out just fine! Just as long as it doesn’t end up sounding like ME! with Brendon Urie 💀but I do understand that Taylor’s huge mainstream-ness might be a weird combo with the lore and stuff

Yeah. The thing for me is that I don't even hate her music (I found it average and can enjoy it with friends who like it). What I just can't stand about Taylor Swift is the cult-like following behind her. Like she is a one-in-a-lifetime talented artist, and basically a goddess who can't do no wrong.
She is just a famous person with some catchy songs. You can like her and even absolutely love her music for all I care, but don't pretend she is a supreme being with unmatchable talent.
So for me it's no so much that the potential song tøp and TS make together won't be good, but rather that I'm so sick of TS that it would prevent me from actually enjoy the song.

Fair enough. Although I personally am new to the sub, and try to avoid certain posts that from the title you can tell are just blind fanatism. I love tøp as well, and I'm excited for the new album and (hopefully) seeing them live again, but as much as I admire the band, I know it's just a couple of very talented people, whose music I love, but that's it. I also know many more TS fans than tøp fans, so I guess there's also a personal bias originating from that.

Not much, if any, negative things have been said about her by her exes.
Also, if you listen to her songs, she's very self aware of her faults and how she's perceived by others.

I think there might be a collab with "Poppy". I know this seems like a long shot. But in "overcompensate" when Tyler raps/sings in front of the projector and you see all different dema slides, the way he raps/sings there feels a bit simular to how Poppy sings/raps in her collab with Bad Omens. I listen to them next to each other, and I can hear there is a distinct difference. But somehow, there is a vibe that feels similar. I saw Poppy and Bad Omens live in February in 013 Tilburg, the same concert hall I saw Twenty One Pilots years ago, so I might project my love for Twenty One Pilots and the memories of TØP over the performance of Bad Omens and Poppy.
