I agree. I wrote this in a feverish moment of theorizing so don’t think I hold it as canon, but I felt it might relate to some of the themes here.
“Clancy did succeed in getting to voldsoy before Tyler, in another loop before Tyler took on Clancy’s name. Tyler is singing Clancy’s music that he “discovered” to help him through. But in levitate he says overcompensation looks like rising up to dominate. Clancy came back and killed Nico. But then Clancy overcompensated and became an insecure leader, and became the bishop in Nico’s place. Now Tyler is returning.”
Basically, because Tyler created Clancy and the whole story, he’s going to have to come to terms with them all some how, and then take control and be able to regulate all the things they represent, i.e disassociation and insecurities.
I think a twist where he is the bad guy isn’t impossible honestly and this was super interesting.
Yes... In routines song in the stairs he have for a moment red eyes. Maybe blurryface is the " being" thats the personification of ones "bad part". And clancy is the name of tylers blurryface. And the bishops are the personification of diferent things that "feed" the blurryface. And yes nico could be the ultimate fear, death. Suicide.
So all of tylers mind is turned into a world, trench, as a form of art, of music, wich is tylers way of coping. This way he gave his blurryface a name clancy. His mind a name trench. And divided trench in diferent places that represent diferent feelings/layers, being depreession and such DEMA, where nico and the niners, those things thst create dema, rule in it. And to represent hope and the eagerness of getting out of dema he created the torchbearer. And to represent not just his mind but everyones he created the banditos.
Ned represents -his- music, thats why he uses the horns to fight. it is music his way of fighting . Trash is ned -his music- but seeing it trought the prism of dema. Thats why is calld trash, he is insecure about it.
And in overcompensate clancy uses the horns, music, and the red, blurryface color so he talking about the mental struggle is helping others going out of dema. Thats why in the video some are yellow and some red. Yellow are the ones with hope and red the ones talking and hence hlping others.

Also I think that the in the new album the thing around Clancy’s neck is a leash. Referencing back to Migraine where it says “this is a leash and I got news for you, you must obey me.” Not sure if Vessel really ties into the lore but this seems like it might fit. Tyler has a leash around Clancy and is taking back control.
