Vessel! Started listening to them in 2013, so I was already a fan when Blurryface came out! I still love Blurryface and their previous albums though ☺️

NameNormalHumansHave

i started listening in blurryface era like a lot of people and just put them on artist shuffle (i know i know, don’t blame me i was like nine) and i remember it mostly being vessel with a bit of blurryface thrown in

Nithmine_Emberis

Dude, same, except it was more Vessel for me. I've literally been listening to tøp since I was 9, lol. I feel old now 😂

SomeLemon13

sai when it dropped and that got me thru online school

House_of_Gold

Regional At Best! I know people don’t love RAB but it’s always going to hold a special place in my heart. Those early shows were so fun and I had that album on repeat all the time.

Seigani

Vessel - car radio and semi-automatic

Active-Bit-3997

Scaled and Icy. I saw a review on the album so i gave it a shot myself an thought it was a nice short listen. It got better with the livestream experience. It got me interested in the lore so i dug into their discography and became a fan

Puzzleheaded_Dog9074

Vessel as well

notjoshabes

Blurryface for me, when Fairly Local was dropped as the first single, been hooked ever since haha

Stormy_24

Blurryface

AnonymousElephant86

Saw them live in 2013 and immediately went home and bought Vessel, which they later signed for me when I met them :) It’s been my most played album every year since, except the years that new albums dropped. But Screen is always my most played song each year. RITN will likely be #1 this year.

CommonSteak2437

I went to the MTV music video awards in 2016 to see Macklemore perform but he was first so I stuck around. Saw the music video for Stressed Out for the first time and quite enjoyed the song. I began researching the band and ultimately purchased Blurryface. Vessel came later but was an acquired taste for me. Incidentally, this music video awards was also wear Nick Jonas told me I was too tall because my shadow was in his spotlight. I had to squat down while being pressed up against the barricade to watch an artist I don’t like lip sync a song. Anywho, Blurryface was my first album lol

Its_Waffle

Self titled!

Zamorman

I got into them RIGHT before the Blurryface era. The first song I heard by them was Migraine, which got me super into them in early April 2015, constantly spinning Vessel. I think the single of Stressed Out came out shortly after that.

arunk137

I started listening to them during Vessel but didn’t get really into them until the Blurryface Era

Vessel and Johnny Boy shortly thereafter.

[deleted]

blurryface in 2016, i first heard about them on twitter and i unfortunately didnt like their music much until i heard holding onto you.

Hot-Huckleberry7473

I started listening about a year before vessel came out. I got my boyfriend at the time into their music and we got to celebrate the album release together. Yesterday we went to visit his family and our 14m old son was trying to sing along to a vessel song 😭

nicolewaechter

Started listening to them about a year after vessel came out, fake you out was the first song I'd heard by them

liquid_the_wolf

I was carpooling to school with a friend in middle school in 2014 and he was playing a vessel cd. Car radio was my first song and I was immediately hooked. First band I ever actually cared about specifically. At the time I usually just listened to the radio. Didn't have enough money back then though to make it to the blurryface tour ;-;

stayalive4322

Blurryface. I had heard it a couple months prior but then once Stressed Out started playing on the radio I went back and fell in love. I remember going on a trip to Florida and blasting it in the rental car.

kirellah

Trench

mills_566

VESSEL. I knew of their popular songs tho (ride, stressed out, house of gold, etc.)

hellogooday92

Vessel, holding onto you.

robbie2k14

Fell in love with Blurryface Era then meet the Vessel, RAB, Self Titled even the (No Phun Intended) album of Tyler also their (7 Acoustic & Can't Help Falling Covers) and the rest is history

Jealous_Spinach_9510

My boyfriend at the time (now husband of 7 years) played a lot of ST, Vessel, and Blurryface in the car when we were dating and I just brushed it off as “his” music. When Trench came out though, he listened to it all the time and it really grew on me. Then I started going back and listening to the older things I wouldn’t give the time of day before. I remember listening to Addict with a Pen and Taxi Cab and feeling cut to the heart - such beautiful songs! I was hooked. Went to the Trench tour and then SAI. And we’re planning our trip for Clancy in October. I love having this to share with my husband :)

Khrystynaa

Vessel (I think?)

frito11

Blurryface then vessel

meeralakshmi

Vessel, the first song of theirs I ever heard was “House of Gold” so I started listening to more songs on the album (this was a few months before Blurryface came out).

Kat_gfVT

Vessel like right before Blurryface came out

CeleryUnlikely9168

Don't know the first whole album I would've listened to, but the first songs I listened to probably would've been from blurryface since the first time I listened to twenty one pilots was on the radio, I think on the station Alternative Buffalo 107.7, but I don't remember for sure.

derrickxkj

Vessel was my first. I remember listening to it while I was in the army, dealing with mental health and sexual orientation and the entire album really got me through it. Migraine, Car Radio, Truce means the world to me.

slayerbeast17

Either self titled or vessel. I started listening in like 2011-12 probably, thanks to my siblings

DarkWiccan

Vessel.

Catholic_Swiftie

Blurryface in 2016…Ever since then, I’ve loved their music and thank God for them coming and staying in my life.🥹

wstxvi

blurryface

Tristen2117

I got into them when Vessel was their latest album but I didn't even really listen to any Vessel songs. I remember one night I was just getting lost in youtube videos of songs trying to find new music and a lyric video of Kitchen Sink popped up. It was the first song I ever heard by them and I instantly fell in love. Taxi Cab was the second song and I listened to basically only self titled before realizing they had a whole other album out. When I learned about it I remember watching the video to HOTY a lot because I thought it was pretty lol.

Shot-Average9941

Vessel

_robosauce_

HOTY music video suggestion from a friend in 2012. Then Vessel with Migraine, et al. Summer of 2013 and have been hooked since with major deep dives into No Phun Intended through RAB! First concert in 2014 for Quiet is Violent.

swaggysalamander

Literally two weeks before Stressed Out blew up, my internet friend recommended them to me. I looked it up on iTunes, blurryface was the first album to show up, clicked it, scanned the titles and randomly clicked Stressed Out. Do you know how amazed I was two weeks later when it was all over the radio?

i_dont_know_you_man_

self titled when i was 8. i have no idea how i found them because none of my friends of family listened but i remember listening to a car a torch a death and march to the sea and trying to figure out the lyrics

Soft_little_sunshine

blurryface, my friend introduced me to their music when i was 12. More specifically first song i ever heard was stressed out ❤️

TrueIridium

Straight through, trench but I didn't like it at first

AdamSullyMusic

Vessel for me. Fake You Out was my jam 😎

Barnacle_Dude

Blurry face

oliverkn1ght

I'd say Blurry. I got on this train with Heathens of course, then I saw Ride and realized there's the whole album. Then Trench came out and you know the rest.

stroopwafel_2066

Self titled with Fall away but strangely enough when stressed out dropped I had no idea it was from the same band. I only found out during trench that I'd been listening to their music for far longer than I thought.

Lauren11993

Probably Blurryface but could've been Vessel. When Blurryface came out my Tumblr was flooded. I gave them a listen but idk which I listened to first. I do know Tear In My Heart was the first song of theirs I saved on Spotify. I don't think I listened to it at all though. When I gave them a listen in 2015 I didn't like any of it. Like a month later I randomly had Lane Boy stuck in my head and the rest is history. Between Lane Boy and Stressed Out being stuck in my head constantly they quickly became one of my favorite bands. They are now tied for number one favorite, and about to knock them out of #1 in plays after being there for 10 years, with Mumford and Sons. M&S hasn't put out a new album since Nov 2018 so that's really hurt their play count. If I had to chose a #1 and #2 I simply could not do so. Went on a bit of a tangent here sorry. 😂

Upstairs_Phrase7734

probably vessel! its the earliest one i remember listening to. my dad was a fan and he played his music out loud all the time and he's been a fan ever since 2013 when vessel was first released. i quickly grew to love their music and in a way, the boys have raised me. my dad only really listened to guns for hands, house of gold, and car radio from vessel, but he listened to almost all of blurryface and hearing those songs on every single road trip or just casually around the house has given me such nostalgia listening to the earlier albums. i branched out and quickly listened to and memorized all their songs on those two albums, then the next two (now three) as they were released. love these guys so much |-/

Novel-Ad-2360

Blurryface and right after it was released. Back then a friend of mine put a bunch of music on my phone for me to listen to and she already was a TOP fan. This was before Stressed out got big so they were still relatively unknown. I really didnt care for any of the music she put on there but when I got to Blurryface I immediately knew that I struck gold with this one! Been my favourite album of theirs ever since.

1_DOT_1

Trench and Blurryface

eiconik

Regional at Best! Forest was my first song of theirs and I played it to death before realising they had more music lol.

omri_attal

Trench. I knew stressed out, heathens and ride but didn’t like them very much back then. 3 years later, jumpsuit came out and I liked it a lot. I later watched the needle drop review of Trench and decided to give it a listen. And the rest is history

Vane0ss

Blurryface in like 2016-2017 i think. i was 12 and didn't know english that well so i just liked how it sounds. i returned to them when i heard chlorine in 2020 and got addicted to them thanks to trench and vessel.

Realchini

Trench. But I learned about them when Stressed Out was playing everywhere. Blurryface is a banger, you can boo me now

RonaldNeves

vessel when they were releasing remastered versions of some songs from RaB

SEEYOUAROUNDBRO_TC

Blurryface

tinyOwll

I was working at a cinema where we showed Suicide Squad for a few weeks. I listened to the outro after every show. Fell in love! Therefore Blurryface!

PizzaTime7339

blurryface

TheStreetLightGuy

it was SAI for me

Efficient-Object1629

Blurryface. Was pregnant with my first kid, depressed, scared, knew my life was going to change forever and I know Stressed Out gets crap these days for being popular but I really identified with it. It played almost every hour on the radio at work and I looked forward to it every time.

LowInitiative1150

One day a friend of mine that sat next to me in class and played videogames with me came up to me a said "I have a great song to show you". It was "House of Gold", it wasnt even the music video, it was one of those unoficial lyric videos that looks like it was made with Windows Movie Maker. That's all it took, a few months later Blurryface came out, and today, about 10 years later, I'm still here. But I have no idea what has happened to my friend

kailaren843

Sometime in 2016 I randomly came across the song Doubt and from there I listened to all of Blurry Face and everything else they had at the time. When Trench came out that’s when I said to myself this Twenty One Pilots thing is for life lol

spacekuura

blurryface. heathens was the first song I heard, and then lane boy, and then rest of blurryface. then I slowly started listening to vessel too (though understood like nothing at first) but it took longer for me to get into self-titled

mattvollett

Trench and I hated them to begin with until I listened to guns for hands and i was hooked

Exciting-Lion-1153

Blurryface ❤️

antifaschista96

Blurryface and it‘s still one of my faves!

Broqui_Game

Vessel.
