DEMA lore starts with heavydirtysoul, then jumpsuit, nico and the niners, levitate, shy away, choker, Saturday, and the outside.
Synapses is as follows:
One of the largest themes in the lore is breaking cycles. Blurryface drives Tyler to dema in heavydirtysoul and Josh saves him. Then in jumpsuit Tyler loses to Nico and gets taken to dema. In nico and the niners the bishops save Tyler, and in levitate he gets taken again.
Then the level of concern ARG happens. Shy away, choker, and saturday all take place inside of DEMA. Trash then saves tyler and josh at the end of saturday. The Outside shows that one of the bishops (Clancy’s Bishop) controlled Trash to save Tyler and Josh. Tyler explores the island of voldsoy (i think that’s how you spell it) (also a migraine reference) and finds a group of NEDs. They give Tyler the power to take control of the the dead bishop and start a fire within DEMA.

Don't forget, in Chlorine, it has a ned appearance and has dema related lyrics:
"Help my body run,
I'm running for my life."
"Fall out of formation,
I plan my escape,
From walls they confined.
Rebel red carnation,
Grows while I decay,
I'm running for my life."
I think it might actually be the first cannon song of the series!
Okay this is complicated since there are videos that are very clearly part of the DEMA storyline but then also some of those videos have references to other TOP music videos. Here is my recommended watching order but highlighted in bold are the core videos if you want to just focus on those.
1. Stressed Out - first appearance of Blurryface and also classic handshake
2. Ride - really just for the cool glasses Tyler wears which briefly shows up in a following video
3. **Heavydirtysoul** \- I'd argue the true first video of the DEMA storyline
4. Heathens - Some hints of the DEMA/Trench stuff in here
5. **Jumpsuit** \- The first video released for Trench, first one that fully focuses on the DEMA storyline, directly references Heavydirtysoul
6. **Nico and the Niners** \- Second video of Trench, lots of DEMA lore and TOP easter eggs
7. **Levitate** \- Third video of Trench, DEMA/Bandito stuff
8. Chlorine - First appearance of Ned
9. Shy Away - First video of SAI era, first appearance of Trash the dragon
10. Choker - I am not sure how this fits into the storyline, but it probably will in the future lol

We have tire tracks in the snow, two "copies" of Tyler screaming at him and it ends with the intro to HDS. It was filmed on Clancy Way - the same Clancy Way from the map message hidden in Trash's scales under the word "destroy" and it's right next to a circular road called Andrew's (Andre?) Drive.

Okay, I know this comment is hella old, but I would also argue that Fairly Local should come after Stressed Out, due to the red eyes making a reappearance. It's been a while since I've dug into the lore, but after the I Am Clancy video, I had to put all the music videos in order and watch them lol
Just the DEMA story:
Jumpsuit - Nico - Levitate - Shy Away (loosely, will elaborate) - Saturday - The Outside
Them's the ones, in that order. Shy away I marked as 'loosely' because there's not really a clear narrative there, but it does seem to be setting up the propaganda nagle, and it's also Trash's first appearance.
Other relevant videos, not really part of the story/world: HeavyDirtySoul (because of its reappearance in Jumpsuit and its emphasis on cycles), Choker (What with it being a retelling of the OG Trench trilogy, basically), Chlorine (sets up Ned, even if it doesn't seem to be a part of the 'official' narrative) and Heathens a bit? At least people keep saying that lol, I don't think I agree but you could comb through it, see what you find. Hope this helps!
