Pretty sure we're the Banditos actually

“Either way, it helps to hear these words bounce off of you, the softest echo could be enough for me to make it through” Hard agree, we are the Banditos. My take is that the bishops are metaphorical for the label and industry. The big wigs are the ones forcing them to do music “flawlessly” on the record. “Don’t trust a perfect person and don’t trust a song that’s flawless” “My creativity’s only free when I’m playing shows” That’s why we get such different (better) variations in the live show. I could go on and on 😂

THIS !!! ^^ I AGREE 💯💯💯

Milkgirl75

Banditos facts!

ResponsibilityFit155

Interesting…. I think anything could be true, or at least up for artistic interpretation

butterflyblueband

Sounds horribly contradictory to what the band has said the fans mean to them, but fair take, I guess?

No I really don’t think we’re the Bishops

I think we are the “target audience”. And what I mean by that is: I think Dema is running out of bodies. Too many have escaped and joined the Banditos. The bishops need more bodies… they use them and give them a “second brief life”. (Which I think they use the skins to “live on” and “blend in”) Since Dema is running out of bodies, they need more visitors, or residents. They want US. If that makes sense

Intelligent-Walk-843

Maybe we aren’t the bishops especially when being told that we are the banditos. But what if we still aren’t the good guys? Enablers of sorts? Idk exactly how to convey what I’m trying to say without sounding like a jerk

I get what you’re saying. My best friend and I talk about this often. But we’re older and parents so we see them in a bit of a different light. We see them like we see our children. We’ve loved watching them grow, in talent, in confidence, in self esteem. We worry and care for their well-being. They’ve been busting their butts for all of us fans for a very long time and at a very constant pace, with little break time throughout their career. As fans, we always want more. We want the next album. The next tour. It kinda seems like we come across as if we’re never satisfied. That must be a very hard line for them to walk. They love and appreciate their fans so much. But they’ve worked hard and are so deserving of a break, especially as they’re building their families. I’m rambling lol, so I’ll end with this. I just appreciate them so much as human beings and their message that they’ve spent all this time trying to get across to people. I truly hope they put themselves and their families first and ultimately do whatever is best for them 💛

I think the industry are the bishops and we are the banditos the industry specifically the label is encouraging them to make poppier albums to get on the radio. I don’t think it a coincidence that trench came out after Blurryface because they were made to make pop songs that’s why they say made songs like lane boy during Blurryface to like say we are happy with this music but we definitely were told to make this music
